About this cottage rental
Paws Beachside is a well appointed and light filled, single level 3 bedroom cottage featuring a new kitchen and open plan living area with beautiful spotted gum solid timber floors. The living area opens to a large deck overlooking a fully fenced private backyard and tidal creek. The lounge area features comfortable leather lounges and a large screen smart TV and DVD player. A good range of family friendly DVDs and board games are provided. The cottage has 3 bedrooms, sleeping up to 6 people. There is a queen sized bed, a double and 2 long singles which can be zipped together to become a king bed if that suits. It is a short walk to the dog friendly beach which has lovely grassed parkland next to it with shaded benches and tables - ideal for enjoying fish and chips from the nearby local as you look across the water to Bateman’s Bay. The main beach at Surfside is not dog accessible as it adjoins the Cullendulla Creek Nature Reserve. Other features of the property include an outdoor hot and cold shower, single garage and a car port high enough to house a decent sized boat or a trailer that brought your mountain bikes down! The location is ideal for many. Kayaks can easily be launched from the local beach for adventures in the bay, out to nearby islands or up the magnificent Clyde River. The external shower and locked garage mean you can enjoy Eurobodalla's mountain bike trails, wash you and your gear off and then enjoy the back deck and a well earned drink. Nature lovers can enjoy walking and picnics in the Cullendulla Creek Nature Reserve with scenic views out to Snapper Island and the Tollgates. The Reserve is within easy walking distance from the house. It is also easy to enjoy all that Bateman’s Bay has to offer. You can walk along the river and over the swanky new Clyde River bridge or drive to the town centre in minutes to enjoy local shopping, many cafes and restaurants, take in a movie or enjoy the new aquatic centre. The new IGA at Surfside offers you provisions and a very good burger! Bed linen, bathroom towels and bath mats, and tea towels can be provided at a cost of $85 per rental. A double kayak with 2 life jackets and paddles can be rented with prior arrangement for $100 per rental. Paddle at your own risk. The beach and river are tidal and care must be taken to understand the tides.

This was the first holiday we had taken our dog on and what a great first place to stay at! The house was beautiful and so clean. The beds and lounges were comfortable and the kitchen had every utensil you could need. There were dog bowls and beds too. The outdoor verandah area was lovely and peaceful as we looked out over the backyard and tidal creek. A short walk to the beach and the local shop and a longer walk over the bridge into Bateman’s Bay. Communication with Ruth and Claire was quick and easy. We would definitely stay again, either with or without our dog! Thank you Ruth and Claire for a lovely holiday.

This was a nice house on a quiet street. The kitchen was fully stocked and the couches and beds were nice and comfy. We had our small Jack Russell dog, and he tried to wriggle his way through a gap in the back fence so we didn't let him out there unsupervised. Otherwise a great stay and would recommend.

This location was fantastic, close to a dog beach that my dog fell in love with while we were here.
The house was set up to look after both people and pets, down to dog bowls and spare poop bags. We had a fantastic time and it was great that our dog could come and enjoy the time with us instead of being shunted off to a dog sitter.

Very clean comfortable house that the 2 dogs and their owners all loved. Would definitely stay again if in Batemans Bay. Bonus points for huge TV and fast internet.

We had a great stay at this property. We were well informed prior to check-in, and on arrival the property was clean, warm and very close to the dog beach. We were able to bring our two dogs. The backyard was fully fenced and suitable to keep your dogs safe. We would highly recommend. Thanks Ruth and Clare.

Its a gorgeous house. It was clean and spacious. Better than the description!
The dogs has a ball in the yard and on the nearby beach. Hardly any stairs for my old lab who doesnt like steps too which was a bonus! Couldnt fault it in any way.

We had a wonderful relaxing week in this property. We are two adults, a teenager and 2 dogs who are mostly inside dogs. The house was airy, modern and clean, with all the comforts of home. Lots of comfortable seating, inside and out so you can relax and chat regardless of the weather. A very short walk to a dog friendly beach which the dogs loved and other beaches that the teen loved. Just minutes from the town centre and all the amenities. We had wonderful communication with the proprietors - they made us and our dogs feel very welcome. I can’t recommend this accommodation highly enough for those with furry family members.

A really lovely property that lived up to the listing. We had a wonderful stay with our dogs and found the property to be exactly what we needed. A couple of questions before the stay were rapidly answered and we were provided very helpful advice by the owners. Highly recommended!

This is one of the most comfortable and well equipped house we have ever stayed in. We loved the fire on the back deck, which overlooks the creek. We enjoyed some long walks and really relaxed catching up on our reading. We celebrated my birthday with the family and will certainly be returning to this lovely house.

We greatly enjoyed staying at this above average property with exceptional amenities and decor, extremely comfortable beds and great location. The highlight was sitting on the decking watching the ducks in the estuary. Hosts were extremely accommodating and responsive. Our toy poodle loved the backyard and the surrounding area.

Relaxing dog friendly vacation.
This is a lovely, quiet, well equipped vacation home within walking distance of the beach. Our son enjoyed bike riding over the bridge into town centre. Within a short drive to Mogo and the zoo. We were stoked that the house is dog friendly and close to an off leash beach area. Highly recommended.

Very homely, warm and inviting, comfortable beds but what sets this property apart from the rest, a very decent coffee machine for the morning kick start - Thankyou. I would most definitely book again when we travel back in that direction.

Eggcellent getaway at Easter
Molly and I and of course our fur-baby Foxy, had a lovely time, relaxing in this very peaceful setting. The cottage is in a great location, so easy to access in terms of contactless entry, physical accessibility and more.
We enjoyed wine on the deck, playing Uno, watching and listening to the animals and of course the fire pit was a cozy touch.
The kitchen was amazing with quality appliances and extra touches were much appreciated such as the coffee and Easter bunnies.
Being a foodie, I did help myself to some chillis - thank you. It was great that so much information was supplied about the cottage, appliances, passwords and of course the permission to harvest in season produce from a wonderfully fruitful garden.
We had taken our own dog "stuff' but appreciated all that was supplied like dog beds, blankets, bowls and emergency poo bags. The back fence-line was secure for our little 3kg dog, providing her serene views too.
Your dog neighbour next door was friendly, waving as we arrived, as were all we met at the local, calm and stunning beach only 200 metres away.
Access to the Apple PC was great in terms of checking food outlets open too.
Thank you very much.It was a much needed stay and a lovely gem to find.

Excellent presentation, well maintained and relaxation plus
Excellent residence for both us humans and for our furry family. Great location with so many extras made available and close to everything you could possibly need. In addition to it being so well presented, it is great for the dogs which was important to us and the reason we selected these premises originally . This would be my first choice whenever heading this way whether just for us or with the dogs - just fantastic for all.
