We had a great stay at this NH Condo, but there is one big thing to note; the FAQ about the stairs really needs to be updated to better reflect the layout of the property. I will focus on the good: Clean, everything you need in the kitchen to cook a simple meal, great woodstove, good location for activities both north and south of the area. Now the part that was not good - Since we got home I reviewed the listing to see if this was just a detail I missed; putting out that "stairs are required to enter" is not sufficient. Now that we have stayed there I understand the layout from the photos, but beforehand it is difficult to picture where the bathrooms are in relation to the other parts of the property. I guess I should have asked in advance but really, this information should be part of the listing. The main bedroom is on its own level, upstairs from the main floor, without a restroom. From the main bedroom you must step down directly onto a fairly steep staircase that turns again at the bottom. When you turn the light on for the staircase, you're also turning on the light inside that bedroom. If you are sleeping with a partner, you are left with two choices: go down the stairs in the dark, or turn on the bedroom and stairwell light at the same time. It's quite dangerous even if it's up to code -- and my husband and I both fell on the stairs. I fell at the top, he fell at the bottom. We are able-bodied adults without any mobility issues. For this reason we would not choose this property again.

Place is cozy and nice. Area is quiet. The fridge and freezer were clean but had a fishy order. I went to a Walmart about 20 min away and bought some baking soda which helped. The water also has a weird order but not sure if that's just the area. Plenty of linens and the beds were comfy. It was perfect for a relaxing weekend.

We really enjoyed being able to use the pool. The location of the town house was great as it was centrally located to the lakes, Santa's village and story land. I found the listing pictures to not be current as the deck doesn't seem trust worthy currently and would be a good place to get splinters. The fridge and coffee pot were not very clean and there was food remnants in the fridge from whomever was their before. The dish towels were old and stained. The downstairs rooms were not arranged as they are in the pictures which was ok. There were a ton of spiders and black beetles down there on a regular basis. My son did get bit one night by something. There was an sewer smell to the water on occasion. I couldn't pin point where it was coming from. Also there was a used dried up pair of contact lenses on the night stand in the master bedroom. No one in my family wears contacts. Whomever cleans really needs to step up their process and maybe have the place sprayed for bugs on a regular basis. I stayed at a different condo last year thru VACASA and it was sparkling clean when we arrived.
