Shelmerdine Park and swings are just a moments stroll (~50m). Cleverly designed with two separate zones to accommodate two different age groups. The large, natural garden features two outdoor sitting areas, complete with outdoor furniture. A well-equipped open-plan kitchen and dining area opens out to a pleasant, north-facing entertaining area with outdoor setting, a new Weber BBQ on gas mains and a large market umbrella. French doors throughout the house open to enjoy afternoon sea breezes and refreshing cross drafts. 4 comfortable and well-proportioned bedrooms are comprised of: · 1 x queen bed · 2 x single beds · 2 x single beds · 2 x single beds, in a separate zone Two bathrooms, each with a stall shower (ie shower over a square bathtub for kids to enjoy) and toilet (second bathroom toilet is separate). An Infinity hot water service provides an endless supply of hot water. Ducted gas heating is fast and effective, keeping the house cosy in cooler periods. Separate living zone is simple, compact and includes a small kitchenette with sink, fridge and hot plates, eating and TV areas, leading out to a sunny patio area with outdoor setting. (note kitchenette otherwise utilises equipment from main kitchen). This space has its own entrance area and is ideal for extra guests as a private area to enjoy some quiet time. Simple furnishings throughout make this an ideal, relaxing stay for the busy holiday maker. Internet is not provided. Linen and bath towels included* – BYO beach towels. Plenty of sitting area's and kitchen has everything you need except a plug for sink!!

The property could have been checked more thouroghly before being let out. So when hiring just check with the managment that all the facilities, supplies and cleaniness is checked before check in date. Other than that its nice quiet place close to sorrento and portsea pier

We have stayed at around eight places at the peninsular in the last 16 years. This wasn't the cleanest or the biggest or the showiest. But it was the most relaxing, everything worked really well (oven, shower, heating, TV/DVD etc), the beds were great (happy wife) and because it wasn't "perfect" but clean and comfy, and great value, it's now our preferred place to stay. I probably should say it was terrible so no one else books it :)
