Come get cozy at Elmwood, a modern farmhouse with a pool & hot tub, in a prime location for visiting Waxahachie and the Ellis County area. This beautifully furnished home has 4 bedrooms, a cozy fire pit, outdoor grill, board games & more. Just minutes from the Waxahachie Square, where there is dining, shops and breweries plus it's super close to jump on the highway. Located on a quiet street right next to a park with a Freebie golf course, miles of running trails, basketball court & more! This lovely house has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths. 1 master bedroom with a king bed and private bathroom, 3 guest rooms with a queen bed in each. The house comfortably sleeps 8 adults in the beds but you are welcome to bring up to 10 people, w/ kids or if you'd like someone to sleep on one of the couches.

This house is so nice and accurate to its pictures. It’s the most comfortable house my family has ever stayed at ( we stay at 2-3 houses a year).

We had an amazing stay and the hot tub was the icing on the cake!! We were in town for my daughter’s wedding and having all the room and fully stocked house made the weekend so great!! We will definitely come back and it was also very close to everything!

It was super clean and was fully stocked with any need you might have. Hot tub was not working the first night. We let her know and she was on it and had it fixed in no time. We did get to enjoy the hot tub. I would stay there again.

A few girlfriends and I wanted to get away for the weekend without going too far. This house was perfect. Adorable decor, beautiful pool, and everything we needed. Great location to local restaurants, shopping, etc. The neighborhood seemed safe, but it’s definitely an active residential area. Host was very attentive too. We loved it and will return!

My daughter had her wedding at the Arrowwood Wedding and Events. I chose this house for its proximity to the venue and number of bedrooms. It was perfect for the bridal party the night before and the family the next 2 days. We had a small issue at the last minute that the host was able to help us out with. So very thankful for that. We would definitely stay there again and I highly recommend it.

We were in town for a family gathering and this place was just perfect for our stay. With four comfortable bedrooms and two baths, several living areas to convene and eat, and a well stocked kitchen for cooking meals (including plenty of pots and pans which is often a problem at rental places), it accommodated our group of 8 easily. We regret that it wasn't warm enough to use the pool as that would have been a bonus. All in all, I would highly recommend this rental. Very spacious, comfortable, and clean!

My family stayed here for three nights and had a great time. The host was very helpful and responsive when we couldn’t locate the remote to the hot tub. Even though it was January the kids enjoyed the pool/hot tub which I wasn’t expecting.

We rented this place so we could host a Thanksgiving meal for my family. We used a table cloth and thick disposable plates but the wooden table ended up with some heat damage. I informed the host immediately and she said she would "look into it." Instead of corresponding more, she charged $495 to refinish or replace the table. I agree that there was some damage but the table was not destroyed. The amount charged doesn't match the minimal damage to the table.
I appreciated the hosts quick communication when we needed help with overflowing trash. I was frustrated by 2 of the 3 bathroom sinks not draining properly. I also didn't feel safe with the front door (it did not shut securely).

We rented this home for 4 couples and a teenager that were all a part of a family wedding. The house was exactly as described, beautiful, clean, and organized. You can tell the owners take pride in their property. They were great communicators and available if we needed anything.

We stayed here for 4 nights while the drag races were in town at Ennis, Texas. The house was spotless and had an additional bonus of a pool and hot tub. We all had zero complaints about anything. We will be back next year and hopefully we can rent this house year after year.

The house was perfect, with every amenity imaginable. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and grill. The house was equipped with everything we needed for cooking our meals. We felt safe in the neighborhood and very comfortable in the house. Taylor was on the spot with any questions we had. I highly recommend this property and will certainly visit it again if the opportunity arises.

We did a staycation and this house was only 25 min away from our home. We wanted a house with a pool to enjoy in this Texas heat! The pool was perfect and we had so much fun. This home is in a great location. It was easy to get around town to try new places. We loved the little boba tea shop- Prickly Boba. The house was decorated so cute and smelled good too! Is it even vacation if you don’t go to
Buc-ee’s ?? It was only a 20 min drive from the rental!

Amazing
The house was beautiful. Had everything we could need besides food. Pool was awesome! The host was quick to respond. We will stay again.
Only suggestion would be a small dresser in each room.

Perfect getaway
We stayed here for a week enjoyed how close the house was to town and how close otbwas to dallas/Arlington area. Quiet neighborhood, didn't even feel like we were in a neighborhood. The owners are super sweet and quick to respond to any questions.

The home was very clean and the kitchen is very well stocked. We spent a good amount of time in the pool! The only thing i would say that wasn't enjoyable is that when we entered the home it was HOT! and that is only because before you checkout you have to turn off the air. It took an entire day in the texas summer to cool down, other than that we really enjoyed our stay and we would book again.

The hot tub was the MVP; we spent a ton of time in there hanging out. The host did a great job of responding quickly to questions and they made the check-in/out process super smooth. Great stay!

We stayed at Elmwood on a family trip to tour the Bluebonnet Loop in Ennis.
We enjoyed visiting the Waxahachie square, seeing Bluebonnets and relaxing by the pool in the evening.
