Nestled in Mauna Lani, this lovely condo for £287 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. E KOMO MAI TO THE PALM VILLAS This 2BR/2Bath ground-floor Palm Villas unit is private and secluded, surrounded by 6 acres of lush landscaping. As our guest you have full access to the Auberge/Mauna Lani Fitness Center, located across the street. Play tennis and pickleball, work out, or swim in the 25M pool. You also have access to the private Beach Club and Napua restaurant. A nature trail and ancient fishponds are also steps away. Nearby Foodland Farms offers a gourmet selection of meat, fish, baked goods, liquor and wine. OUR HOME Primary Bedroom has a Cal. King bed with Tempur-Pedic mattress, and an "en suite" bathroom with tub and shower. Guest Bedroom has two XL Twin Beds with memory foam mattresses. Fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and the fridge has filtered water and makes plenty of ice. The Living Room has a comfortable sofa and armchair to relax and plan your Big Island adventures. Beautiful, lush gardens are off the front and back lanais. Fast WiFi and a 64” LG OLED TV with Netflix, HBO Max, Apple TV, Showtime, Hulu, and Amazon Prime and Spectrum Silver cable channels. Connect your iPhone or Android via Bluetooth to an Amazon Echo to stream your music, or use our free Apple Music account. 100% cotton sheets and towels. Beach chairs, Boogie boards, bamboo mats and snorkel gear available in the garage. There’s a great Delta Heat BBQ outside on our back lanai for grilling your Big Island beef or local fresh fish. MAUNA LANI/AUBERGE FITNESS CENTER & TENNIS GARDEN A UNIQUE PRIVILEGE FOR YOU! As our guest you will have full access to the Mauna Lani Fitness Center and Tennis Garden, conveniently located directly across the street from the Palm Villas. This is part of the exclusive Auberge Hotel, but is available to you free as our guests. Play tennis and pickleball, swim laps in the beautiful 25 meter 3-lane pool, or work out in the fully equipped gym with machines and free weights. You can use the Club’s new top-of-the-line “Head” tennis rackets and “Selkirk” pickleball paddles. Currently, we are the only rental condo at Palm Villas that is offering this privilege. Other units may advertise that you have "access" but you would have to pay the weekly rate -- $650/week for a family of 4. However, if you rent our condo, "access" is included for free. Please note that this privilege is for the renters of our unit only, and is non-transferable to others. Admission to the Fitness Center is for a maximum of 4 guests only. If you have friends staying at Mauna Lani - or elsewhere - they can accompany you as your guest for a small fee. Private tennis lesson, clinics, round-robins and spa treatments are extra, but you would receive our 10% member discount. MAUNA LANI RESIDENTS BEACH CLUB Guests will also have a Beach Access Card which allows them to park one vehicle in the private lot at the Mauna Lani Residents Beach Club - making going to the beach most convenient. As our guest you are welcome to use the chaise lounges and cabanas on the beach, and to have lunch and dinner at Napua restaurant overlooking Makaiwa Bay. (Reservations highly suggested for dinner.) Makaiwa beach has easy entry with great snorkeling. From our condo you can also walk to the Beach Club via a paved trail that goes through a nature preserve with lava tubes and petroglyphs, then meanders through shady, ancient fishponds until you end up at Makaiwa Bay. It takes about 20 minutes and is a very easy hike - it is also a great for an early morning jog or a lovely sunset stroll. THE SHOPS AT MAUNA LANI Foodland Farms, Tommy Bahamas and other stores are also about a 20 minute walk up the hill to the Shops at Mauna Lani. Foodland Farms has an excellent wine and liquor selection, prosciutto di Parma and other Italian delicacies, and imported cheeses and pates. They also also offer a good selection of prepared foods, sandwiches and sushi, and the fish and meat counter makes excellent fresh poke every day. Snorkel Bob's is also a great place to rent snorkeling gear for your stay. We do have some snorkel gear in the garage -- but we strongly recommend that you let Snorkel Bob's properly fit your mask and fins. There is nothing worse than a leaky mask, and fins that are too tight or too loose. They will set you up with high quality gear that fits well so you have a great experience in the ocean. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation is at your fingertips when you stay at Hale Malino.

We cannot say enough good things about this property. It was above our expectations and everything was perfect. The place made us feel at home with all the comforts and then some. We felt special staying there, and felt lucky to be able call it home for a few days.
Not only is the condo perfect, the grounds and the common areas are just as nice. The pool area was amazing, with the rocks and water falls. Also having access to the fitness centre was an unexpected perk. We had access to the Pickle Ball and tennis courts and made the most of it one evening.
The exclusive beach club was also unexpected. A beautiful beach on a calm bay with snorkeling and swimming in the warm water. The restaurant there was delicious and the drinks were incredible (get the Pina Colada with the dark rum pour over! But you may not be able to get out of your beach chair after!!)
If you are thinking about renting this place, do not hesitate, it made for a truly spectacular vacation to the Big Island and we hope to be back again one day!

Our stay was perfect! Greg and Jeff’s condo was beautifully furnished and well kept. They were very responsive to any questions we had and always very friendly and informative. The Palm Villas was quiet and beautiful. There were times we had the pool all to ourselves. On our first night there a neighbour brought us some fresh fruit from the trees growing on the property. Having access to the beach club and the fitness centre was an added bonus. We loved every moment and would not hesitate to rebook!

We loved the location and all the amenities. The walk to the beach through the fish ponds was a daily must. My husband rode his bike most days and I utilized the gym. The owners were easy to work with. Very clean place and a comfortable bed.

The property and location are PERFECT!!! We LOVED having access to the fitness center and played LOTS of pickle ball. Some furnishings could be upgraded due to lots of wear, as well as one of the single mattresses. However, honestly, it was all still great!!! The cleaning crew could get in the corners/along floor trim a bit better but again, it did not take away from a GREAT, GREAT, GREAT day. Gregg was GREAT to communicate with!!!

The condo was perfect, very clean, exceptionally well stocked kitchen and a lovely lanai where we enjoyed our morning coffee. It’s located a walking distance to a wonderful private beach. Gregory is a perfect host and we very much appreciated all the info he provided about local eateries and places to visit. Only one complaint, wish we could have stayed longer………

This property was exceptionally clean and comfortable, everything in great condition. The condo association has some stiff rules ( no drying pool towels outside on the lanai), but the residence was very quiet and friendly.

Gregory has created a superb condo and vacation experience at the Palm Villas. Everything exceeded our expectations. Beds and linens were comfortable, kitchen was more than well stocked, if you end up watching TV even though you should be enjoying Hawaii like we did--the World Cup was happening!--the little living room space has a giant new TV and cozy coach and chair. ALL supplies are stocked with backups ready and waiting should you run out. The internet was fast enough for both my husband and I to work, including video meetings. It has a secluded lanai and great BBQ, and to top it all off, a well stocked bar! A lot of love and thought went into this rental and you can tell. Gregory has also put together a helpful guidebook that's informative and hilarious. I will admit I took pictures of it so I could refer back to it after we left. The placement of his unit within the Plam Villas complex, we thought, was the best, surrounded by quiet gardens vs a window into your neighbors place. The Palm Villas itself is a cute, smaller, well-maintained complex, across the street from the Mauna Lani fitness club, for which Gregory provides free guest passes. They have a 25 meter pool, workout facility and tennis and pickleball courts.

This was my second time to stay here. It is such a calm peaceful setting. Condo has everything one could ever need, owner very responsive, access to quiet beach and fitness center. Only downside is the small pool but hot tub is great after a dip in the pool's cold water. I would go back again.

Highly recommend this lovely condo!!!! First off, great location. I have family near Hilo, and also love Kona, but the beaches nearest to the Waikoloa area are the best on the island. Loved this super tidy and quiet property tucked into the middle of world class golf, lava fields, beaches. The landscape crew needs kudos for keeping this place looking like a tropical garden but also somehow being very quiet. The pool is gorgeous, shallow and black so it's warm, with a waterfall, and the hot tub is actually hot. This property is just steps from the pool though the view from the patio is just lush landscaping. Condo itself - loved that the bedrooms are on separate sides for privacy, loved the layout of dining, living room, big kitchen island - very comfy for a small family. And I did love that it had access to the private beach club - not necessarily the best of all the beaches in the area but super nice with cabannas and beach chairs included, very safe for small swimmers, and fun paddleboarding. As for how this compares to another rental - these owners truly go above and beyond with detailed communication about the property/ things to do/check in and out process. The condo is STOCKED with everything one needs to prepare any meal, all the spices, courtesy ziplocks and tupperwear (so useful), fridge has just the right condiments all current and clean. There is a little bar! Take some, leave some. Baths are stocked with a lovely grade of shampoo, soaps, scrubs. All the cleaning supplies one needs. Absolutely everything a family needs in the garage for beach time (boogie boards, chairs, toys, coolers, etc). I will stay again in a heartbeat both for physical location on the island, charm of this sweet property, and the extrordinary care the owners take.

Beautiful Palm Villas
We had an excellent Hawaii vacation at Palm Villas. The location was perfect for our family reunion. (Our children and grandkids stayed at a larger unit across the street) Our condo and the grounds were exactly as depicted. The pool is beautiful and close by. The condo was wonderfully decorated, spotlessly clean, and well equipped. Our hosts, Greg and Jeff, were attentive and welcoming thru the whole process.

The lush landscaping makes it feel like you are the only ones in the area, even though the pool and fitness center are steps away. The decor is modern, and all of the furniture is comfortable. And there are books! From helpful travel guides to multiple field guides (everything from trees to fish) in which you can learn more about the island and what you see.
Like to cook? The lanai has a fan, light, and modern gas grill. The kitchen is stocked with all manner of cookware and barware, and the fridge and pantry have a thoughtfully curated selection of basics, condiments, and spices. Nothing expired here. It's one of the best stocked VRBOs I've stayed in (soy sauce, kewpie mayo, plenty of Ziplocs, a tea ball, and more and more and more)
The hosts genuinely care about the guests' experience and are very communicative and organized. It felt like staying in the home of a friend, and I cannot wait to go back.

Airy and comfortable condo outfitted with everything you need. Full kitchen, pool and beach access, garage space, in addition to beach items, bathroom and kitchen basics. I was in town for a conference at the Fairmont and this was a 20-25min walk or several minute drive away. Less than 30 minute drive to Waimea for great food in the evenings, and we had awesome recommendations from Greg and Jeff, who are friendly and responsive hosts!!

Great Condo in the Palm Villas at Mauna Lani
Totally impressed with this condo and how well it is set up and supplied. Leave your excess stuff at home. 4 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, multiple snorkel sets, noodles and more. Condo is well stocked with what you need. Basics were in refrigerator and even a small stocked bar that prior guest leave their extra behind for the next set of guests. Just love the pay it forward condo owners!!!. Greg and Jeff are great communicators and even sent emails when there was free fruit available from plants and trees on the property. They provide beach towels and the pool was never crowded and the private beach always had parking. 100% recommend this place.
