About this house rental
This is a quaint home located within the historical Harbortown District. You'll find yourself just minutes from Lake Erie, providing an enjoyable walk into the downtown shops, restaurants and bars. Vermilion provides many fine dining options where you can find multiple restaurants that will more than satisfy. Being a lake town, there are many things you can do on the water. And Vermilion provides many options where you can rent water toys or charter a boat; etc. It is only a 20 minute drive into Sandusky where you’ll find Cedar Point, Kalahari and the newer addition Cedar Point Sports Park. It’s also only 20 minutes from downtown Oberlin and 45 minutes from downtown Cleveland. This house provides two queen beds and a pull out sleeper sofa; sleeping up to 6 individuals. There is one full bath and kitchen which is fully stocked with all of your cooking accessories if you choose to stay in for the night. All linens and towels provided. There is a front and back porch, both enclosed, to enjoy your morning coffee or enjoy a nice book. The backyard is spacious and offers plenty of room for your children to play or to enjoy an evening by the firepit with seating provided. There are many things to do in and around Vermilion year round.

This was a great house in a cute resort town! Very clean and organized!!!! They were responsive, thoughtful and even gave us some wonderful baked goods and coffee from the local stores. It was like walking into home from a long travel day!!! Thanks for making this a wonderful trip!!!!

Charming, very small old town; houses that were built in the 19th century, lots of trees, nice people, good restaurants. We had a very relaxing time there, even through two exceptionally powerful storms two nights in a row. This was, probably, because we never lost the power, which was a relief to us since we were traveling with handicapped 92 y.o. Lisa was friendly and helpful and fast reacting when we called. Definitely, would love to come back some day

The house was perfect for our family of 5. We felt so comfortable. It was spotless. We were amazed by the hospitality of the owners who provided beach towels and a cooler for our use. We would definitely love to go back and recommen it 100%. This had been our best experience with a vacation rental. Thank you Lisa and Michael!

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay at Lisa's house. It was clean, comfortable, and close to everything we needed. We walked to shops and restaurants in town and made the easy 20 min drive to Sandusky for softball and Cedar Point. We will happily stay here again. Thanks!

The house was exactly as described. It is fairly small but fit our 5 person family well. Very close to Vermilion town center and beach too. Lisa even let us check on a bit early which we appreciated. Thank you for the great stay!

The property owner was always prompt with answering messages, and she seemed like she was nice. The house was clean and neat, and we were provided with everything we needed and more. We were even greeted with a box of chocolates and a bottle of wine!
We liked the little sunroom area off the dining room. It had a table and chairs to enjoy a cup of coffee.
The location was great for walking to the shops and restaurants in town, and even the lighthouse and beach.
I would have preferred blinds on the kitchen window and back door, but otherwise I don't have anything negative to say about this cute house.

This cute little house is perfectly located in Vermillion! It was super clean and comfortable! Location is great, neighborhood is quiet and we had everything we needed for our stay! We hope we can come back and stay again!

This house was a great find! Only a few minutes walking distance from downtown. The house was very clean and provided additional items such as soap, shampoo, paper towels, and coffee which were not expected! The beds were comfortable, and it was a quiet/safe location. We would definitely rent again.

Super clean and cute little place in the city. Lisa was super good with communication. Only downside of property was parking. Large trucks or boats a no go but would stay again.

There were no problems with our stay. The house was clean and well kept, getting in and out of the house was simple. When we go back to CP we’ll definitely stay there again

Fantastic Cottage
This property is in a wonderful location, short walk to shops, restaurants and beach. Great communication with hosts. We hope to visit Vermilion/stay in this cottage again someday!

Nice house conveniently located close by the shops/parks/beach! My kids enjoyed playing in the backyard and it was a comfortable place to stay while we were in town for a family gathering. Hosts were great to work with.

We had a really nice time at this little cottage. Very clean and nicely appointed. Quiet little neighborhood, and just a short walk to downtown Vermilion. As soon as we walked in the door we were welcomed with a custom sign, some and some gifts/treats from local shops. Communication with the owners was very helpful and timely. Next time we visit I will definitely look to reserve this property again.

Best location for Fish Festival, exploring downtown
We walked to Main Street Beach twice a day, about a 4 block, 5 minute walk. 5 minutes or less to all the restaurants and shops downtown too. A half block from Fish Festival stage and midway. Not recommended for anyone with any mobility problems. Steps to get to coded entry have no railing, there is no walk in shower and no grab bars on the walls. The hallway to get to the bathroom is very narrow. But it was a fun place to stay for my husband and I and my brother.

Everything as it's described but better! House beautiful. 5 min. walk to beach. Lots of cool stuff in town. Perfect wish we didn't have to leave.

We love the house small but very clean close to everything, The town was very quiet walking distance to a lot of the shops restaurants and the beach we would definitely go back
