Amazing morning sun is available in gobs on the back patio - pitch up the sun umbrella for a little shade! Light up the fire pit at night for some crackling cozy vibes. The screened in patio has an electric grill plus a patio dining table to boot! Enjoy your coffee in the shade or a drink in the sun! THE PROXIMITY: A 15 minute walk to the walk-on beach access, 3 minute drive to the public beach parking, 5 minute drive to Publix, restaurants and all of the rental shops and a 10 minute drive into historic downtown St. Augustine. THE SPACE: The home sleeps 8 in 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Twins and 1 Queen Air Mattress. The kitchen is equipped to service 8 people and cook together for a great night in! The TV in the living room has cable and streaming apps and the master TV does as well, so simply login to your Netflix, Hulu or HBO account to enjoy your favorite movies and shows. You can access Live TV with channels via the TV main menu. AMENITIES: Lounge patio with sun umbrella and fire pit. Screened in dining patio with electric grill. Laundry machines are within the unit. THE LAYOUT- This home has a solid 2/2 layout: FIRST FLOOR: Master bedroom with King bed and access within the hallway to a bathroom with shower/tub combo. 2ND FLOOR MASTER BEDROOM: 1 Queen bed and 2 Twin beds with en suite bathroom with walk in shower. OPEN LIVING: The kitchen is situated adjacent to the living and dining area so everyone can be together whether lounging, dining or cooking! We outfit the kitchen with one roll of paper towels, a few starter trash bags and dishwasher pods for your first couple of days. PARKING: There is a large driveway for the building with some assigned parking for Units 1 and 2. Please do not park in the marked parking for other units. There are 2 unmarked parking spots in front of Unit 3 for your use. NO parking in the fire line (yellow lines) or on grass or on street. You will be towed. There is no other parking provided. LAUNDRY: We offer a washer and dryer, starter laundry pods, iron and ironing board and some basic cleaning supplies for your convenience. HISTORIC DOWNTOWN ST. AUGUSTINE: Just a 10 minute drive is historic downtown St. Augustine! Take a tour, enjoy the rich Spanish history, the architecture, the food and craft cocktails and all that our pleasant waterfront town has to offer. Contact me for lots of insider local recommendations on what NOT to miss! BEACHSIDE FUN IN THE SUN: Our beaches are unparalleled! We really know how to enjoy what nature has blessed us with here in our quaint little St. Augustine. You can walk to the beach within 15 minutes or drive to one of the public beach accesses on Vilano Beach to park and walk on. TURN IT UP: Want to live on the edge? There are a couple of rental shops nearby where you can rent surfboards, paddle boards, snorkeling gear, you name it! Deep sea fishing charters and boat rentals are also available in multiple places throughout town. Delivery bike rentals available via a local company. Contact me for recommendations. SECURITY DEPOSIT: In lieu of a traditional security deposit charge or authorization hold for a large sum, we will instead charge a one-time non-refundable incidentals fee to your stay of $99. This fee acts as insurance for minor damages and covers you up to a max of $1000 of damage. You may elect to increase your incidentals fee for more coverage ($99 for $1000, $149 for $1500, $199 for $2000 and so on and so forth). *IMPORTANT: Guests must report to us any damage that has taken place during their stay before checkout, otherwise the incidental fee coverage is null and void. In this case, we reserve the right to charge the full amount of repairing or replacing the damaged items to you. Your insurance coverage amount ($500, $1000, $1500, etc) is not the max that you are responsible for. If damages exist beyond your coverage amount we will document this with photos and professional estimates of repair, and bill you for the repairs or replacements. Guest Access: Entire space of Unit 3 is included in this rental. Please, make yourself at home. This building has 4 wall-to-wall side by side condos in it. Please be mindful of keeping noise to a minimum to respect the guests in the units on either side of us. Please be sure to abide by parking rules: only 2 spots provided. Do not park in other unit's parking spots. Do not park on the fire lane area (indicated with yellow lines on the black top in front of the walkway up to the condo units). Please park other vehicles in county public parking lots on Vilano. To get to the beach, you must walk to the entrance of the neighborhood, turn right, walk on the grass along Coastal Hwy to the walk-on beach access opposite Third Street. You must cross Coastal Hwy to reach the walk-on access. The Neighborhood: One of the prime areas of Vilano Beach, you will find the area is bordered to the East by the Atlantic Ocean and to the West by the Tolomato River (or what we St. Augustinians call "The Intracoastal"). Located just a five minute drive from the home is a Publix grocery store with everything you could need! In that shopping center you can rent or buy equipment for any water sports activity. Just a seven minutes drive over the Vilano Bridge is Camanchee Cove, where you can rent a boat for the day or charter deep sea fishing tours! Getting Around: We recommend renting a car for your stay. If you prefer to travel by bicycle or would just like to rent them for fun, check out Drifters for drop off/pick up bike rentals. Other Things to Note: Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7. This building has 4 wall-to-wall side by side condos in it. Loved the close beautiful pet friendly beach. House super clean and well equipped. Old St-Augustine is a great place to visit. We would love to come back.
