Stock up your full-size refrigerator and prepare home-cooked meals in the well-equipped, eat-in kitchen with a wood-capped breakfast bar and a table for six. Meet up in the cozy living area, switch on the gas fireplace, and watch something together on the cable-equipped flatscreen TV. Outside, dine on the front porch or take in the view of the adjacent marsh from the furnished, screened-in back patio - a great place to watch for birds and other wildlife. You and your guests will also enjoy access to several Bethany Bay amenities including a shared pool, tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts, and a nine-hole, par-three golf course, all on-site. Things to Know Pool hours are 10am to 8pm from Memorial Day through Labor Day No elevator in the building Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available. This property is managed by Vacasa Delaware LLC If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 2. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

We were so impressed at the space, the decor, the cleanliness and the view. The screened in porch allowed us to spend time outside without bugs biting us or getting into the house, plus our pet could come outside with us. We loved it here!

Police had to be called twice as I felt unsafe and so did my US ADA-registered service dog. I purposely purchased rental insurance and the both the property management and rental company, Excel and VACASA, respectively knew nothing about VRBO insurance.
I had to purchase throw rugs to cover over stains on the carpet and after putting up curtain shears to add some more privacy and to block the sun glare while working, I could not reach the management company to assist me to get the curtains down.
Finally, they rushed me out, even though I contacted VRBO to extend the rental, lying and saying the unit was "rented". I ended up leaving all of my plants outside and other valuables. The management companies NEVER contacted me to return the said patio decorations or my creations that I sell.
FINALLY, my dog was SO upset that she could not protect me, she dug a hole in the mattress as I was washing my sheets.
I HIGHLY discourage VRBO from contracting with obsolete "3rd party" management companies like VACASA and EXCEL Management.

My wife and two dogs stayed in the two bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment and were largely satisfied. The complex in which the apartment sits is a private complex and has a golf course, water front access to Rehobeth Bay and a swamp. It is a superb place for walking the dogs with minimal traffic; the oval roadway allows up to a 2 mile circuit. There are a couple of aerated ponds for a quick swim for the pups.
The town of Ocean View is well-supplied with good restaurants as are Bethany Bay, Lewes and Rehobeth Beach just a few miles north. All the amenities of both small and large beach resorts may be found. Ocean City Maryland, one of the major beach resorts on the east coast, is only a few miles to the south.
The apartment has two well-sized bedrooms, a living room and an eat-in kitchen. The front has a gated porch and the back a screened porch; we maximized both for our dogs. The kitchen has a good suite of appliances, cookware and dishes but there were no mixing bowls. There is a refrigerator/freezer with an ice maker and cold water dispenser. There is a microwave, toaster, electric range/oven and an electric drinks blender. There is a large slow-cooker. There were a couple rolls of paper towels, 2 toilet rolls in each bathroom and 2 tissue boxes. There are full sets of linens and two sets of towels and face cloths for each bathroom. We were disappointed to find the bed frame in the front bedroom was broken, rendering the mattress unsleepable. The back bedroom bed was comfortable. The furniture is minimal but adequate in the living room. There is a good router for bluetooth internet and the tv has a wide range of channels. Cell reception was not good but greatly improved when we linked to the router. Parking was right at our front door. The complex is quiet, the neighbors very friendly.
There are superb waterways for kayaking and canoeing if you have either to bring. Fishing and crabbing are excellent. Bring insect spray if you go out but nature lovers will be pleased. Bugs were normal for a suburb on the complex when we walked the pups but there were a few ticks found during the week and a mosquito bite or two per walk.
With the exception of the bedframe we were very pleased overall. It was pricy but I suppose we paid extra for the privacy and spaciousness of the complex - which added to our enjoyment. We had to visit the Vacasa office a few miles away to get pool passes for the complex; not a big deal. The pool is available to guests; I am uncertain about the golf course. The complex would be excellent for casual bike riding and jogging.

We arrived at the unit to discover stains on all of the bedding. The worst though was when we looked into the closet and found blankets that were pungant and foul with massive stains. The couch is stained with what is likely coffee(however understandable that is, the price of $400 a night comes into question given the circumstances) and there was trash under the ottoman and the counter was stained in several spots when we arrived. The local team was able to bring us some clean bedding but since we were only staying one night the entire experienced soured the visit. And when corporate contacted us about means to rectify the situation we were offered nothing but an apology and a “chance to impress you next time” as if there ever would be a next time after that experience.

Unit was great beautiful and location great just that the carpets had stains, I had to swifter floors and dog hair in furniture and unempty vacuum in master bedroom closet . Other than that all cleaning of bathroom and kitchen were great there should never be any evidence that someone else stayed . Thank you

loved the screened-in porch. darker shades in the front bedroom to block early morning sunrise would be helpful. Toilet in front bedroom also constantly ran. Quiet, good location to Bethany Beach and grocery/liquor store.

Overall great and well stocked rental. Would recommend to other or stay again. Like to address a few points for improvement:
1) Check-in: There is a disconnect between Vacasa and VRBO email guidance. Email directs patrons to check in at Vacasa management office no earlier than 4:00 pm. Which we did. While we did receive an email with access code/WiFi password the morning of check-in, which didn’t direct if we had to check in at the office. We went off of the VRBO earlier email and reported to the Vacasa. After some confusion and not finding a check-in packet, the staff stated we did not have to go to the office, but go directly to the rental unit. Just a point where there can be some synchronized effort.
2) Instructions: recommend binder with some guidance printed for patrons (I.e. how to turn on the fireplace), maybe about the local amenities that we could have accessed in the complex. We didn’t not attempt to gain access, even though it was advertised that there may be on-site access. Just a disconnect with what was advertised.
3) Cleanliness: Overall the place was clean. Did appreciate some basic cleaning supplies like paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, etc. Unfortunately the vacuum was not emptied, and full from previous occupants. Vacuum did not work optimally, may need to replace. Would recommend area rug get cleaned periodically. Also recommend dish towels, mixing bowel. Due to the duration of our stay, we did wash our provided bed linens, but noted the mattresses, nor the pillow had covers. Yes they did have sheets and cases, but a mattress cover would protect the owners investment from stains, etc. The same for the pillows, they needed a pillow liner. Finally, a day prior to check out, we were out for the day and returned to find a bag of cleaning supplies, linens, etc. outside the front door. We were unsure why because we didn’t ask for supplies. On check out morning, we were packing up to meet the 10:00 am check out time, but the cleaning crew showed up ~0940, which really pressured us out. I’m sure that wasn’t their intent, but from a business standpoint, think we agree not a good practice. Can’t imagine this in a hotel.
4) Dryer: We did appreciate access to the wash and dryer unit. However, highly recommend to owner address the dryer hose feeding to the outside. Because it was not installed properly, as noted by the duck tape, and hot air and lint vented into the rental unit which made it unusually warm.

Beautiful setting.
Vacasa staff were very helpful and accommodating. Location was convenient to dining, shopping and a short drive to the beach. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable.

I loved this condo. It was beautifully decorated and great location in the community. Limited traffic in this area. I also really enjoyed the screened in deck and the views of the Marsh, we did some great bird watching. Highly recommend!
