We were competing in the Augusta 70.3 Ironman event. 2 families of 4 and 2 grandparents stayed at the farmhouse. It allowed everyone to have their own rooms which was clutch after 20+ hour drive from Kansas! Huge indoor and outdoor dining options allowed us to all eat together. The house is equipped with everything you need and the yard is giant and well maintained so the kids had a blast running and racing. They have a fire pit so s’mores were a hit and the short walk to the lake was so convenient. The kids loved the kayaks and building sand castles. My only complaint is the distance from home because I wish I could come back again and again. We are taking so many memories home with us. Highly recommend staying here!

We had a multi-generational family gathering in this beautiful lakeside house. The pictures don't do it justice—it's an excellent place for groups, plenty of space, plenty of bathrooms, different areas inside for people to be on rainy days, a huge deck and yard for the sunny ones. We spent a lot of time in the lake and in the kayaks. People at the private beach were super nice, and overall, the whole place has a great vibe. We spent four nights here, and cooked all but one meal here. The place has everything you need and more. Tracey is super responsive, helpful, and kind. I wish we could all go back, like, tomorrow.

This house was exactly what we needed and more. The only common thing to come up that made us hesitant at first was the large cleaning fee because on the same hand you are required to do the dishes and take all trash out to a dumpster behind the barn..but it is a large house. We are just used to leaving places as we found them (clean) and haven’t had cleaning fees that high before but I’m sure that’s from prior guests ruining that lol. The fact that is used to be a BnB has it set up perfectly to travel with friends and family. Ample space, privacy with 5 bathrooms and a couple even in the bedrooms. The kitchen space was great to do a collaboration with dinner and the living rooms were so cozy to end the night in together. Tracey was very easy to get in touch with and accommodating. We would love to rent this place again during the summer so we can enjoy the lake. The house is beautiful and has all the old charm while feeling modern due to again…all the bathrooms! We loved this stay and will be back.

We had a wonderful time- great place to bring together a large group of family members. Nice proximity to many sites including Damariscotta, Wiscasset, Booth Bay, Brunswick and Rockland/Camden ( in addition to simply enjoying the lake)

Lake was lovely. Kayaking in the lake was a lot of fun. The fire pit provided hours of relaxation. There were few glitches which were resolved very quickly by Tracey.

It’s a grand, old, farmhouse. Great swimming and kayaking in the lake, but you have to carry your stuff up and back. Great WiFi in the front of the house. All bedrooms cooled well with window units. 15 minutes to anything other than Jefferson Market or Jefferson Scoop. Owner was very responsive to any needs we had. A great way to experience Maine away from the coast. Bring bug repellent if you plan to be outside after dusk.

We booked the Damarascotta Farm House to enable family and friends across the Northeast to gather and reunite. 8 of us slept comfortably with the 6 separate bedrooms.
The farm kitchen and separate butler’s pantry were perfect for prepping/cooking/cleaning up for Lobster Pot meals, baking, and BBQ using the full sized propane grill out back.
We swam in the lake everyday, took the 2 kayaks out to the Lake islands (I just wish it was later in the Summer to harvest the blueberries on those islands)…and discovered Jefferson Scoops, over 50 flavors of some of the best locally made ice cream we’ve ever had. Our teen girls drove in to Damarascotta to shop one day. My brother in law desperately wanted a pina colada and the blender was broken. Tracey (the property owner) told us to drive into town to buy a new blender and she reimbursed us….enabling us to blend up the best pina coladas ever! Our East Coast family hopes to return next year!

Paradise by the Lake
Our family of 9 had a wonderful time here. We arrived at sunset and there was no problem with easy entry to the property. The kitchen served us well for the 3 nights we stayed. Kayaking on the lake is recommended! So fun for our 2 teens. My Father the veteran enjoyed meeting local people including the horse and buggy drivers who trotted by each morning. And the grandson who helps his granddad mow the lawns. Grocery store next to McDonald's in Demariscotta had everything we needed. The Pemaquid lighthouse in Bristol is a short drive and not to be missed.! We bought a lovely watercolor of it- painted by a local artist we met in person at the gallery on-site. The house gave us no problems. All toilets work fine. Hot showers on demand and NETFLIX for the family. Good wi-fi too. We are thrilled that the previous visitors are from Arizona! We came from New Mexico via NYC. We truly enjoyed our Vacation here and hope to come again.
