Nice, spacious above ground unit with plenty of natural light at an affordable price. So many rentals in Sandy are basement units, which can be cavernous and loud from persons living above. Unit is conveniently located for access to restaurants, groceries, and access to Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons, whether using the UTA shuttle, or driving. Unit has a dedicated garage, which is very helpful in the winter. Beds were comfortable and unit was well laid out. Unit has undergone recent upgrades, with quartz kitchen countertops installed while we were out skiing. Kitchen well stocked with dish ware, pots and pans, etc. Having a full kitchen and being able to cook breakfast and make lunches before heading out to ski is an optimal arrangement. Unit also has a washer and dryer, which is very helpful and reduces the amount of clothing a traveler needs to pack. Only recommendations would be to add an additional table lamp in one of the bedrooms and in the living area, as overhead lighting is too bright in certain instances. Also some printed instructions in the unit regarding wifi password, lighting the gas fireplace, checkout process, nearby restaurants/grocery stores, etc., would be helpful to guests A great stay otherwise and would definitely recommend. Far superior for the money than staying in a cramped hotel.

The key wasn't there when we arrived which made for a not great check in and I wasn't aware of the resident living downstairs so we parked in front of his spot. He was understanding of our mistake. Other than that, the property manager did a great job communicating when we needed something and the property was cute and clean.

Home was just as described and the perfect home base for a Family Utah Getaway. Location was perfect. Close to EVERYTHING. We had our choice of 4 ski resorts with the home located at the base of Little Cotton near them all. Perfect for the IKON Pass Holder. Restaurants, Stores, Activities all just around the corner. We took a break from the slopes and visited Arches just 3 hours away which was amazing. Utah has so much to offer and it's so nice after a hard day enjoying Utah's Natural Attractions to know you have a Hot Shower, Comfortable Bed, Stocked Kitchen and a Washer and Dryer to get rid of the evidence of the effort you put into your day. Host was quick to respond when needed and so helpful. We will definatly be back. TommyT

This house is incredibly adorable and comfortable, not to mention on main roads and close to everything we needed. Communication with the owner was fast... he responded quickly to all my questions. Could not have asked for a better place to stay while I was in town.

It was perfect for us. I would recommend this place. It was clean, comfy and plenty of pots and pans etc. stocked In the kitchen to cook. I was even able to wfh one day due to a small computer desk set up in one of the bedrooms. I would recommend this place!

Comfy Home with well furnished cozy bedrooms that just makes you feel at home. He even included extra toothbrushes. I am moving to the area and the host allowed me to store the furniture I bought in the garage and storage shed.

I had an awesome stay! From the very start the host was very good at communicating with me all the way until our stay ended. One thing I didn’t find in the listing was that it is a basement home. With that being said I have no issue with that at all it was all very nice and had all the amenities and touches a home would need. Was nice to have a place to park, always returned to a cool home, never had any issues with noise in the home above us and even when they did have some guests I was made aware and there was no issue. I’d recommend staying at this place to anyone I know. Good location as well!

The initial listing on 5/28 didn't indicate this was a basement apartment; but it was. I was expecting a house for the price. The stairs down to the apt. were very steep and I hit my head on a low-hanging light fixture halfway down the stairs. There is another low light near the bathroom that I hit my head on. There is a low area in the tub that ponds, enabling water to become stagnant and possible bacteria to grow in it.

This property had everything we needed and then some!

As soon as we opened the door it felt like home. They have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. It was close to the ski resorts which was exactly what we we were looking for. The garage was a bonus when coming back with all of the ski equipment so we could dry it out for the next day. If we are back in Utah we will definitely want to book this property! Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay here, everything was very clean and well-stocked. We've never stayed in a basement rental before, but it was just like having our own apartment, with a garage as a bonus. We could hear the people upstairs once in a while, but no worse than in a hotel, and you get so much more than a hotel room for the price. We recommend staying here.

This is a very cute abs cozy basement apartment that is fairly close to the Cottownwood Canyon ski areas as well as close to other conveniences if needed. Parking is in the garage with a private entrance down to the unit - the private garage parking was a real treat! We did a bit of cooking, and the kitchen had just about everything we needed and then some. The gas fireplace was very nice for watching tv (along with the streaming apps). The bathroom had all the essentials we needed (nice towels too). The unit was overall very spacious. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for a ski vacation in February. It is a short 20 min drive to Alta, Snowbird and about 30 mins to Brighton and Solitude. Was awesome to have a full kitchen and washer dryer. There were some basic food items and most importantly coffee for our first morning. A private garage is included. The only minor downside was the absence of a dishwasher, but not big deal for 2 people. I would stay again in the future.

Apartment is very comfortable and spacious. I feel it was designed by a professional designer with many nice details. Bedding is comfortable and good quality. Fireplace adds a cozy feeling. We rented this place for a ski vacation. It is in a close proximity to ski resorts with convenient driving, even on weekends.

My friend and I just returned from a long ski weekend, the main reason for choosing this cozy apartment. It was very clean, fit our needs and is very well thought out for a short or longer stay. The kitchen, unlike many rentals, included basics like coffee, spices and the like, which we really liked. It was only two of us preparing simple breakfasts and lunches so it didn't bother us that we didn't have a dishwasher. The beds are very comfortable, the bathroom includes plenty of towels and some basics like hand soap/lotion, and the living room is cute and cozy with a gas fireplace. The decor throughout is adorable and homey. The AC/heat are only able to be controlled from the upstairs unit, which makes finding the right temperature in the basement apartment tricky, but the owner was super responsive, kind and accommodating throughout our whole stay, beginning with the booking. We didn't realize that the apartment doesn't have an exterior entrance/exit (the door and stairs leading to it are only accessible from within the garage) so that was a bit unusual for us. The drive to Snowbird and Alta took us about 20 minutes - very easy! We always prefer staying in Sandy or Cottonwood Heights for close access to grocery stores, etc. Already looking forward to the next ski trip!
