About this house rental
Situated in Tamworth, this lovely house for £211 per night is a great option for your next trip. This fully renovated cape is in the quaint town of Tamworth NH- the gateway to the White Mts and close to the Lakes Region and various wedding venues. The home has a full, well-equipped kitchen and seats 8 comfortably. The open concept living/dining/ kitchen area has a 52" Roku television as well as many games and puzzles. Free Wi-Fi is available. There is a Pack'nPlay, highchair and bedrails available for the littles in your family. This is an ideal rental for an intergenerational family vacation. There are beds for 13 guests, however we limit the number of guests to 8 for the comfort of all. The house has an enclosed sunporch, usable even on some sunny winter days--a perfect place to sit, relax and read. The finished basement has a playroom with lots of games, toys, books as well as bunkbeds, pullout couch, Roku TV and video games. There's a full bathroom with a tub and shower in the finished basement. The first floor and outdoor gathering areas are wheelchair accessible (zero step). A brick ramp provides easy access to the house from the driveway and the patio. Doorways on first floor vary from 29"-36". All 3 bathrooms have handicap grab bars and raised toilets. Please contact host with questions. Our cleaning staff takes pride in their cleaning and sanitation methods. We're sure you will find the home up to your standards. Seasonally, an outdoor gas grill, table and chairs are available on a brick patio. There is a shady grove under a large maple tree for sitting and visiting with family & friends. A large stone fire pit is a perfect way to unwind at night. Some wood is provided. During summer months owner may be on adjacent property. So clean and well-stocked! We needed handicapped accessible, and true to the description, all accommodations were just what we needed! The proximity to hiking trails and the White Mountains were fabulous! And we really appreciated the separate zones for heating. I wholeheartedly recommend this property!

It was an absolute beautiful place for our gang of 6 adults and 2 kids to stay . The surrounding neighborhood was calm and this place is a really nearer place to White mountains.

The house is so neat and clean with everything you need to have a wonderful stay. A well stocked kitchen, large grill for outdoor cooking, comfortable furnishings, inviting fire pit and located in a picture perfect neighborhood. The house was beautifully decorated for Fall, inside and out. We really appreciated the wheelchair accessibility also. There were 7 in our party and we had plenty of room to spread out. The house is conveniently located close to many White Mountain activities such as the Conway Scenic railway and the beautiful Kancamagus highway. The owners are so responsive and helpful. Be sure to have breakfast at Rosie’s. Delicious food! If you are considering renting this house, do not hesitate. You will not be disappointed. We would love to stay here again if we ever have the opportunity.

The cleanest VRBO we have ever rented. You felt at home the minute you walked in. The kitchen was FULLY equipped with EVERYTHING. The welcome to our home manual answered every question. The furniture was clean and comfortable. Instruction cards throughout the home helped for a relaxing visit. The home is rural, but close to outlets, Mount Washington and lake Winnepesaki . Although we are seniors, we would recommend this home for families with children. The outside patio and lawn were also well kept. I can nit think of one negative about this home.

This rental is probably the best VRBO property that we've stayed at. The house was clean, comfortable, well maintained and well stocked to handle 7 adults. Communication with the owners was straight forward and timely. As we were in the area for a wedding, the location could not have been better for access to Whiteface Hollow.
I would definitely stay here if ever in the area again, and highly recommend the property.

The Tamworth Cottage was an immaculate Cute Cottage. This is the far best stocked VRBO I have ever stayed. They have thought of everything, it made our stay so easy. Kitchen is fully stocked the every kitchen gadget to please all chefs. Beach towels, insulated bag, folding chairs available for a perfect picnic at the Lake. It’s a perfect place for a family. Beautifully decorated. I loved the photos showing the history of the Cottage. The Township of Tamworth had plenty of social activities that were just down the street. A Great Place to stay. We will definitely rebook for our next visit in Tamworth.

David & Joyce we’re very attentive to our group’s needs. The house & property are lovely. The house was stocked with many extras like toothpaste & other bathroom supplies, in case we forgot something. The kitchen was fully stocked with the basics for cooking & dining, complete with spices & a few condiments. The only suggestion I made to the owners is to make available a possible, flexible check in check / out time. Check-in is late at 4pm. Check-out is earlier than is customary at 10:00 am. Otherwise, I would highly recommend David & Joyce’s home for a relaxing get-away.
Our group came for the 100th anniversary of the Laconia Motorcycle Rally & although the weather did not cooperate a lot of the time, we took advantage of some of the owner’s suggestions for local activities & found plenty to do. We also spent lots of time enjoying the property.

We had such a great experience staying at this house for a long weekend. The hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating, the property and house are beautiful and well decorated, and all the rooms felt so comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked which is not always a guarantee with a rental, and we were able to easily cook several meals during our stay. Would highly recommend!

This property was the setting for a perfect family getaway. We were able to create beautiful family memories. The property is quaint and cozy. The property is fully stocked as if being in your own home. It was very clean and comfortable. The property owners were very responsive and ensured we didn’t need anything during our stay. The children had their own space in the basement which they truly enjoyed. This home had such a feeling of family and was extremely cozy! Location wise it was a perfect, about 30 minutes from North Conway and still close enough to some shopping if we needed any supplies. We will definitely stay here again😊

Our stay at this home in Tamworth was wonderful. The house is cozy, immaculate, beautifully decorated and easy to settle into. The location in convenient to scenic routes, restaurants, stores, hiking trails and lakes. The instructions left by owners were detailed and easy to follow and it is safe to say they take great pride in this home.

This was the perfect spot for us for a fall family wedding at The Preserve. While we had events covering meals and activities- the house is fully stocked with everything you would need and has been very nicely renovated. There is a wonderful fire pit with plenty of wood which I was sad not to have time to enjoy. The host was terrific and offered great ideas - we walked into town and went to the farmer's market and checked out the charming little town. North Conway is a short drive and we enjoyed a delicious dinner at Vito Marcellos and a terrific lunch at Black Cap Grille. Be prepared ahead for groceries as the nearest is a bit of a drive. We highly recommend this spot!!

It was so nice to return from the wedding and to enjoy such a welcoming place. The ambiance was so calming and relaxing. We enjoyed the fire pit and shared family memories. The girls had so much fun in the playroom. The house is meticulously kept and is filled with happy colors. My family thoroughly loved this place.

The property was beautiful with a great layout to accommodate our extended family. David and Joyce were very mindful of little details and the house was very clean, comfortable, and well stocked with lots of things that made our trip more convenient. We enjoyed the fire pit one evening. My dad, son, and I had a lovely bike ride through the area and we spent time at the lake. Communication with David and Joyce was great - I really appreciated the great signage and information.

This property had everything we needed for a great visit. The host provided brochures which were helpful in narrowing down our day trips and more importantly, the road map that i borrowed (and was laughed at for taking) was essential when our phone maps failed due to sporadic coverage.
House is VERY well stocked with plates, pans, glassware,etc. Grill is newer and excellent.
Would stay again if back to explore the white mountains.

My family rented this home when in NH for a wedding at the Preserve - a wedding venue right down the road. The location was perfect for the wedding and other necessities weren't far away. The home is lovely and well equipped. The fire pit area was great. Our only issue was spotty cell service but we weren't trying to work so it wasn't a big problem. White Lake state park nearby is lovely.

Beautiful home, wonderful stay
Everything was excellent. David and Joyce are wonderful hosts - they are warm and friendly, offering great tips on things to do, from the farmer's market to the theater! The home is lovely, extremely well-kept, and comfortable...they really go the extra mile in every way. Our children enjoyed having their "own space" the downstairs play/bedroom. A perfect way to spend a relaxing time in a quaint New Hampshire village.
