This is a place to sip your coffee on the patio, watch deer come and go through the meadow, and take daily walks to beautiful KVI Beach a few blocks away. This quiet, two-story cottage enjoys an enviable location in Ellisport on the island's east side, with downtown Vashon's excellent restaurants and unique shops mere minutes away by car and KVI Beach - a favorite among locals - a few minutes' walk through the neighborhood. Inside, you'll find a freshly painted, light-filled living space with generous windows that frame the sunny pasture and the neighboring evergreens. In this thoughtfully designed space, there's a full kitchen to your left as you enter and a main living area with comfortable seating, a flatscreen TV, and a selection of board games to break out at night. The front patio, furnished with a pair of Adirondack chairs, is a wonderful spot to linger with a mug of coffee and listen to the sounds of the island all around you. The primary bedroom is just off the living room, offering a telescope for wildlife-watchers and a desk workspace in case you're keeping in touch with work during your stay. A spiral staircase leads up to the second bedroom - a charming little attic room where you can sleep under the rafters. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
