Situated in Oscoda, this charming resort for £118 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Cabin #9 is a stand alone cabin right on the beach with sunrise views and the sound of waves crashing you to sleep at night. It is a one bedroom queen size bed unit with full bathroom and shower, a complete kitchen with appliances and a living area with sofa. This is about as close to Lake Huron as you can sleep without your pillow getting wet. There is literally nothing between your front door and Lake Huron but a few footprints in the sand! This nicely appointed cabin with beautiful sunrise and moonrise views will not disappoint.

The cabin was cozy and perfect for my retreat. I even got to swim! Huge bonus, being October, i wasn't counting on that.

This was our 1st time in Oscoda. Miami Beach Resort was cozy and very relaxing. The views and the sandy beach are as advertised. Tim, the owner, was helpful and quick to respond. We did have a problem at the cabin and he had a perfect solution. Robin and Jim, friends of Tim, arrived and made sure all the renters had whatever we needed in our cabins. The renters before us had left a mess inside the cabinets and drawers. Housekeeping had done a super job on the bed, the bath, and the rest of the cabin. After a 30 minute wipe up and wash the cabinets and drawers were fine. We’d definitely come back to Miami Beach Resort. Loved the cabin, the beach, the nearby towns and parks, and the other renters…so friendly. We petted nice dogs. Made new friends. Were invited to church. All in all, SUPER.

One of the best 4 days ever. The sunrises were beautiful. The water was clear. The beach was relaxing. My cabin was perfect, and being lulled to sleep by the waves was a dream.

Been going up to Oscoda for summer vacation for many years. Have stayed at a few vacation rentals there, & I have never had a batter experience! The cottage was spotless, filled with everything I needed, the beds comfortable to the sandy beach right outside my door,

Rented #9 for the weekend with my daughter. Cabin was perfect, had everything we needed. Being so close to the beach is absolutely fantastic! Tim and Nancy are great hosts. We used the kayaks they had available, nice time on the water : ) Planning on bringing the whole family back next year.

The beach is very nice and the cabins are small but cozy and clean. The hosts assured us if we needed anything they would be right there. But a couple of times we went to ask them something, no one was around. At all times of the day. Would’ve loved to make reservations for next summer.

The owner’s were friendly and accommodating, as well as the cleaning staff. The tidy cabins are beach/lakefront and have just about everything one might need including bbq grills, outdoor chairs, kayaks and canoes. So much fun!

The view was not as described! The cooking utensils and silverware had food on them! The sand should have been sifted for sharp objects! There were no easily accessible electrical outlets! Our security deposit was not returned in a timely manner!

Staying here was the highlight of my year. I stayed for 3 nights, and loved every moment- stunning sunrises and moonrises, exploring the nearby towns and Sturgeon Point grounds, kayaking Easter morning, all of it. Nancy was very friendly and checked in periodically, and because it was so early in the season, allowed a late check-out, which just kept the low-key ambiance going so everything was peaceful. I stayed in Cabin 3, which has two small bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen/dining/living space, perfect for myself (and if I had a guest, still perfect). My room looked out at the water, and I slept with the window cracked to listen to the waves. I was looking for rest, quiet, and peace, and in addition to all of those things, I found unsurpassed beauty and renewal. Thank you!

My best friend and I booked a stay for a color tour. We met Tim when we got back fro.seeing the Lighthouse. He suggested a drive down River road. We took him up on his recommendation. It was the best part of our trip. Our best friend was tragically taken from us in March 2020. Her body was recovered on the River toad in our town. His recommendation now allows us to think of her and beauty when we hear River road. This cabin is everything you hope it will be.

The cottage was clean and while small, contained everything we needed for meals. Walk out the door and you are on the beach and close to the water. There are shared kayaks, corn hole and ladder golf available for use, as well as fire pits. Close to Oscoda fo shopping and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our short and sweet getaway at Miami Beach Resort. The cottage was small but efficient and very clean. The property sits ON the beach and the view and sounds of the lake waves are beautiful. We left a swimsuit behind and the conscientious housekeeper found them and the considerate owners (Tim and Nancy) mailed it to our home address. Gotta love THAT!

Place was up north cabin feeling. Right next to lake Huron and it was great to stay so close. Each cabin had a grill that you could use. There are multiple cabins on site and you all share a beach. Tim was super nice and helpful when we contact him.

We really enjoyed our stay. We could step out our door and right onto the clean sandy beach. We went to sleep to the sound of the waves and woke up to beautiful sunrises. We met some great folks at the shared campfires on the beach. A short drive to Tawas or Oscoda and a great base to explore the area. The cabins aren't fancy, but they are clean had everything we needed for a week stay. The owners are very warm and welcoming. We will be coming back and bringing friends!

The cabin was extremely clean. It was small but had great amenities - pots, pans, utensils, cups, bottle opener, plus outside amenities including a gas grill per cabin, fire pits, picnic tables, kayaks, and other beach toys. The cabins are right on the private beach for the resort. They even provide firewood daily. The owners were onsite while we were there and were very responsive, and even walked around to check on visitors that were outside. We’re already thinking about which unit we want to book for next summer.

Great vacation on the lake. Hosts were super nice and helpful. Wifi was weak in our unit, owners said they were on it. Enjoyed kayaking in the AM when the lake was smooth
