About this house rental
Solo individuals, couples and small families (couple w/up to 2 children) will enjoy a sensual bedroom suite with a comfy queen size bed, as well as a cozy living space with sofabed (queen size), a plush chair, a large ottoman, a flat screen Smart TV, a work/eating space, kitchen, an adjoining full bathroom and a sunny patio with a cafe table and chairs for three - perfect for enjoying morning coffee or an evening beverage. All wood finishings and counters have been artfully hand crafted by using reclaimed local beetle-kill wood. The craftsman who built this cottage came from generations of boat builders and this skill can be recognized from the boat cabin, galley and head feel of the place. Hence, we named this space "The Captain's Quarters". The Captains Quarters are located at the back of a property that is shared with the owners home and backyard. Guests have access to the shared backyard space and have the use of a carport that small cars can access from the back alley. Vegetation and blinds provide a lot of privacy for The Captain's Quarters. The space is ideal for people visiting the University due to its nearby proximity and available parking.

The property is so amazing and far better than the pictures. The owners were very flexible and kind. My daughter and I went for a shopping weekend. We fell in love as soon as we walked through the door. I will continue to stay there whenever possible.

Very responsive host, and a super cool space to stay in. We stayed in the dead of winter and thought we might freeze but the place is very cozy and EVERYTHING is in its place and is neat organized and looks like it was hand-made. Thanks for a lovely stay.

A unique and interesting property in the University District very convenient for visiting family in the area. Everything one needs is within reach; it is a well planned and creatively organized spaced quiet. The bedroom is tight, probably not practical for larger people, but the bed is comfortable. We would stay here again.

The back yard has a lovely water feature that is very calming. The stay was wonderful and the unit was easily found. I’d stay again any time.

We loved our stay in this Cozy Guesthouse. It is close the University and downtown. The decor is a creative take on a sail boat, with great attention to detail. It has everything you need while visiting Missoula. April was great to work with, and we look forward to returning.

The little house is decorated like a ship! It has some great wood features, and I like the cool fabric with a little bit of shimmer on the walls. Host was great, responsive and accommodating, the yard was lovely. The bedroom is a little tight - if you are a larger person, it might be too small. The living space was pretty generous for one person - lots of room to spread out, make food, take some work meetings, and watch a little TV in the eve.

Located on a quiet residential street convenient to hiking, shops, events, and the downtown area.
The house is thoroughly clean and well appointed.
Check in was easy even after a flight delay.
The host is accessible and friendly.

It is so homey and cozy! Really neat layout and very unique! The garden in the common area is like a little oasis. There was a lilac tree which added a terrific scent to the property. The bed is high up and kind of hard to get into if youre short like me, but it was super comfy and had down pillows which was awesome! There is no built in AC unit but there is a ceiling fan and they give you one upon request. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and would stay here again!

Captain's Quarters is amazing! The vibe is comfort. The multiple blankets are plenty. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with what your need to cook for the amount of space. The bed is very comfortable. The various light sources to set the mood are very fun. The property is very accessible and convenient. Highly recommend!

This little cabin was specially designed by a boat builder and the details were so much fun! Adorable!
Location was perfect for it was walking distance to family members. This quiet neighborhood is also great, with houses built in the 1940s and a great park nearby.
The owners were easy to contact and accommodating.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a month when we first moved to Missoula and needed a place to stay while finding somewhere permanent. Lisa is the best host! She even offered to do our laundry (we spared her, but the thought was really sweet!) There was plenty of room for us both and a nice comfy living area to lounge in. The location is THE BEST. Short drive to downtown, the supermarket, gas, etc. We would just walk a few minutes to get anything needed. Overall highly recommend staying here! And very thankful to Lisa for having us! 🤗

This place has everything you need for a comfortable stay right in Missoula. It’s a great location for exploring the beautiful city and short drive to many hiking spots. The photos don’t do the backyard or house justice, such a peaceful spot. The owners were incredibly easy to communicate with and kind.

Unique and Wonderful
We really enjoyed this property. It was private, cozy and fun! Someone put a lot of work into this backyard and bungalow! Host was very helpful and made sure we did not have issues with parking or directions. We will stay here again!

Quirky cozy cottage!
All in all the cottage was great! Warm and welcoming! I enjoyed my stay!
The backyard which I’m sure was beautiful in the summer was kind of an obstacle course! I usually came back in the dark and had to use the flashlight on my phone because it was quite dark. I got used to the stone walkways but had to be very careful!
