About this house rental
This is a fully renovated single family home which is setup for you to have a very nice place to stay while in the area. The dollar house was a tired little place that hadn’t been lived in for over a decade! It’s fully renovated into something very special. A great place to stay and well equipped. It's private, on a safe street, close to parks and both lakes. If Albert Lea has nicer short term accommodations, we need to see it to believe it. This unit is an exceptional value!

Great value for a single or couple. Cozy older place that has been nicely updated. Excellent shower and bed. Host is very responsive and accommodating.

This is a very nice property. We felt like we were at home. It was very easy to get to and was very convenient to be able to get where we wanted to go.
We would definitely recommend staying here for a nice quiet getaway.

I had a booth at the Steele County Fair and I needed a quiet house to make my goods to bring... It was exactly what I wanted and the description was completely accurate. It was a pleasure doing business with Luke and I will definitely rent his home again next year if available. Beth

This house is very clean and well equipped. It is located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. The bed was very comfortable, so that was a bonus! We enjoyed eating at The Elbow Room, which is just a couple of minutes away. I will definitely stay here again.

We felt tucked away in a quiet neighborhood & it was perfect to just “be” and catch up with each other! I had a couple things to talk to the owner about and he was receptive and responsive- what more can you ask for?! We look forward to staying there again and enjoy hikes and the lake in Albert Lea!

Very Organized and cozy with everything labeled. And everything you would need. Big farm table for playing games and eating. The bedroom was very relaxing, the bed was very comfortable. The only thing I would add is a TV in the bedroom. But I would stay here again.

We had a great stay in this darling house. A short walk to the lake and easy drive to local restaurants. Great for our family of 4 (kids shared the pull-out couch bed). I would say it comfortably sleeps 4 (2 to a bed). Kitchen is great, well organized. Would recommend for a couple or family of 4.

We were in town for a wedding, Luke was great about getting us checked in early so we could get ready at the house after driving 4+ hours. Everything was just as described, clean, and a good size. We will book again if we come visit the area again to visit our friends again. The only thing was the bed is a very soft mattress, which is wonderful if that is your preference. I just like a firm mattress. Otherwise very nice property, we enjoyed our short stay!

The house is beautiful, very clean and centrally located. Quiet neighborhood. Close to city water park and walking trails. Very convenient highway access to neighboring towns for sight-seeing. Overall a great stay. I did not have quarters for the laundry or accounts at the local banks, but was lucky to secure some. Bring some along to be safe.

Nice Property
We stayed for two nights as part of a larger road trip. The house was comfortable and well located. The neighborhood was quiet and a nice place for an evening walk.
