Beautiful home! Great location for what we were interested in. Comfy beds. Crazy comfortable couch! If we weren’t interested in hiking we would have stayed in a reclined position for 2 days! Easy to talk with Burke concerning check in etc. Great restaurant in town (Escalante Outfitters)which ‘saved our lives’ since we arrived late without groceries. Overall a great 2 night stay for Bryce, Devil’s Garden and onward to Lower Calf Creek Trail. Thanks Burke! JoAnn K.

My husband and I were on a multiple day trip with my elderly parents to visit the Grand Canyon and Big 5 National Parks. We stayed at this lovely home for just one night. It is very cute and the updates are so nice! We appreciated the coffee/hot chocolate and small bowl of snacks as we arrived late in the evening. My parents stayed in the room with the queen bed and my husband and I slept in the smaller room with the bunk beds. I can't remember the last time I slept in a bunk bed - but it was great! All the beds were so comfy - all of us had a great night's sleep! Don't hesitate to rent this cute home even if you are traveling as two couples. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the fire pit and 2 hammocks chairs that were hanging from the tree. Loved our stay here!

We enjoyed this beautiful cottage in Escalante. It was so clean and lovely. Enjoyed morning hot chocolate on the screened in porch. We loved our stay here.

Very clean. Snacks and coffee were great. Diffuser and oils was an unexpected plus and greatly appreciated. Great location to hike a variety of trails and terrains. Would definitely recommend and stay at again if in the area.

Kitchen was well stocked. Hosts left some well appreciated snacks. Fire pit was a nice feature. The heating/cooling system took a little while to understand. It always seemed to run hot. We would definitely stay there again.

House is just as advertised. It is small but very comfortable. Could use some more kitchen basics, but it didn’t affect us as we weren’t there to cook. Owners are super responsive. House was updated and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was big enough for us to spread out a bit, but still very cozy during the chilly spring mornings. Everything was simple and clean, and you can tell Burke focused on high quality touches when remodeling the property (floors, countertops, fixtures, etc). Everything worked flawlessly. The basket of snacks was a nice bonus as the grocery store was not open when we arrived on a Sunday. Will definitely stay again next time we’re in the area!

This was such a nice place to stay. Everything was very clean and put together. It was in a great location so you could head out during the day then come back and have a great home base. Check in and check out was easy as well. We love Escalante so it was the cherry on top to have a place to stay like this! Thank you.

This is an excellent rental. We were concerned with it being off the main road with noise, but it was very quiet. The owners clearly care about their property and went above and beyond with several little touches that make the rental feel like home. The fire pit had wood and marshmallow sticks, snacks in the kitchen and plenty of high end shampoo, lotion, soaps etc…We enjoyed snuggling under the blankets on the couch watching movies and hiking to zebra canyon during the day. I highly recommend this home for your vacation!

We just stayed here one night before backpacking in Capitol Reef. I really wish we could have stayed longer. The house was well stocked, the area around the firepit was great, and the beds were absolutely amazing. I would definitely stay here again!

Had a nice time at Burke's place. He was great to respond to questions etc. He sent good information about check in etc. The house is exactly as pictured and it was super clean. It sits right on Main street and since it is such a small quiet town it was dead silent at night.
