Welcome to your home away from home on Lake Murray at this beautiful lakeside cottage retreat! Perfect for families, weekend getaways with friends, or special events. Enjoy morning coffee and meals on the deck, spend the day swimming or kayaking on the lake right from your own private dock, lounge in the hammock, and make memories around the fire pit in the evenings. Central to downtown Chapin and Columbia. 25 miles (35-40 minutes) to downtown Columbia, 6 miles (10-15 minutes) to downtown Chapin. Nice bones, nice vibe, & nice view .... unfortunately lacking when it comes to a number of basic details i.e. functional grill, non-skid mats for the shower/tub, etc.

I enjoyed this relaxing lakeside property with family and friends celebrating my 40th Birthday! I was truly in my element. So peaceful and relaxing! We had a few hiccups, but the property owners responded very quickly and communication was so easy! I definitely we recommend a visit to Carolina Cove!

My husband and I had a great time at the house. It’s a quiet spot at the end of a subdivision. We had fun on the paddle boards and enjoyed evenings on the board deck. The owner is very responsive to any questions you may have. I would recommend staying here and would come back again.

We enjoyed the decks, kayaks, watching boats launch and come in, seeing a heron and turtles, and the dvd selection when the internet went out. What a beautiful little slice of Lake Murray!

We had a great weekend at Carolina Cove! I rented it for two nights just so my friends could have 5 friends over around noon on Saturday. But Friday my family ended up coming and we had a cookout and fun get together. Saturday was the best day for my son. They swam, kayaked, fished (which were biting lot 😃) and hung out by the firepit. There was tons of space and lots of blankets and pillows. Very comfortable! Thank you so much. We had a great time.

In Columbia for our sons USC graduation. Enjoyed coming “home” after the event. House was extremely well stocked down to fuzzy blankets that came in handy with my morning coffee on the back porch. Everything you might need to enjoy your stay is there. Wish I had booked it for a longer period of time.

Spent almost a week with my family of 4 adults. Sat on the deck and enjoyed a few glasses of wine while taking in the beautiful view. Cooked several meals in the well equipped kitchen. Took the kayaks out on the lake. Gathered around the fire pit in the evening. Check in was seamless. Nicole was friendly and helpful. Check in/out was a breeze. Turned a visit to my daughter, who lives nearby, into a wonderful and relaxing vacation. A+.

The cottage was perfect for our needs! My sister lives 15 min around the lake. We gathered at her home during the day, then went to the cottage to sleep and unwind.

The house was bright and clean. The overall kitchen and living room space was decorated nicely and the view of the lake was lovely. Our host was attentive and we had no problems.

Great get-away home.
The house was well equipped with everything we needed for 2 couples. It was on a quiet street tucked into a cove. Great restaurants and grocery near by. We stayed here and went to the Masters golf tournament for a day. We also took a pontoon boat out for a few hours. The lake is beautiful.
