We were looking for an economical place to stay for a week while visiting friends nearby. Hobbit House fit the bill. Although we typically left the property after breakfast and didn't return until after 10:00 pm, Hobbit House has everything needed for anyone spending more time there. It is convenient to Ft. Myers and just a 30 mile drive to Sanibel.

We stayed 3 nights in the Hobbit House. We were visiting my cousin in Fort Myers so it was a very convenient location. The house was very comfortable and clean. It has everything you need in a small place and decorated very cute. We were very happy we could bring our pups. Jennifer made sure everything was okay. We had a great stay.

The property owner was very helpful from the very beginning. She gave detailed instructions on location and check in. Everything was as described. Very clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay there next time we are in town visiting family. The little hobbit house is cute as a button and our go to from now on!

Check-in was "easy-peasy" once I got the unit #; Jennifer was nothing short of AMAZING!! The community is still in recovery from Hurricane Ian, but the neighbors, and location were perfect for my visit~! Communication with Jennifer was excellent. Clean and comfortable! Quiet neighborhood. We were initially concerned about the ability of the air conditioners to make the house comfortable, but they did the job just fine. The beds were also very comfortable! Jenniffer was helpful, and quick to respond to any inquiries that we made. Our son enjoyed the pool every day on our trip!

I picked this property because of the pool, gas grill and bike which were included. I was disappointed that the host didn’t notify me that the pool was closed, the gas grill didn’t work and the bike was no were to be found. The home itself was fine. I feel the host should have notified us ahead of us arriving because she knew the pool and grill weren’t available for use and some compensation should have been offered.

This house was nice cute and clean. However, it’s a mobile home, inside a trailer park. Which didn’t bother me until I plugged in 3 or more items at once and the electricity breaker broke. Then the water was off the night we arrived until the next afternoon. When it did come back on it smelled soooooooo bad. Apparently the water that is pumped through the homes in this area is well water. Well, that’s nice to me. The smell of the water smelled up the whole place and I mean bad, not to mention the place ain’t but so big. I was on my menstrual cycle and literally couldn’t bathe. I went from Monday to Thursday off of baby wipes and bottled water that my boyfriend had to leave to purchase. On top of him having to leave and fetch big pails of water from somewhere else just to get the toilet to flush so we could have a bowel movement. No bowel movements, no cleaning drinking water, couldn’t brush my teeth or my body. It was a barbaric experience. The trailer was nice and cute, the host was nice. But the amenities or the lack there of, ruined this trip for me. I literally had to wait outside when my boyfriend showered. And when it got to cold I had to just come in and breathe with a towel over my face, it was that bad. I thought I was going to come to Florida and have a enjoyable trip, couldn’t brush teeth, wash my body or my hair. The owner promised a refund but I never saw that.

It was close to all of our events as we were here for my daughters wedding. The neighbors were all very nice and friendly. It also provided us with a place to get away from everything when we needed. My gps did have a hard time finding it, but Jennifer gave us the accurate directions and then found it no problem. I cant wait to come back and stay again.

The accommodations were better than described and all of the little extras that the owner included made it all that much better. It was very cozy and had all our needs met. The other park guests that we met at the pool, which was very nice as well, made us feel not only welcomed but like we were friends.

We stay at vacation homes all over the state of Florida and this is by far the best one! It was SO cute and had amazing decor! Yes it was small but we had 5 of us and a dog and still everyone said it was the best place we've stayed! Love grows best in little houses! The host was beyond amazing also! She had donuts and cinnamon rolls and snacks and even coffee creamer! It's like she thought of everything you may have forgotten! There was a hair straightener, razors, soap, toothbrushes... everything! This place was incredible and we cannot wait to come back and stay here again!
