About this condo rental
Situated in Princeville, this lovely condo for £131 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Located in the heart of the upscale Princeville golf course community lies our Hale Moi condos across the street from Hideaways Beach, and nearby overlooks to Hanalei Bay, capturing beautiful evening sunsets! The One Hotel and the Westin are also up the street with awesome grounds to enjoy and restaraunts to eat at. Hale Moi resort condominium lies right off of the famous Makai Golf Course and tennis club, open to public. The condo is quiet and peaceful, with beautiful views of the mountains, forestry and sunsets. It sleeps 2 people--there is one king size bed accessible by a ladder to a loft ( see photos). Princeville Shopping Center is minutes away and convenient for guests to shop for groceries at Foodland, get gas, shop at boutiques and galleries, stop at the bank, and eat at various restaurants and bars. NOTES: On arrival, your designated parking spot will be in the first Hale Moi driveway located off the main Ka Haku Rd. Please park in #202 (white paint on driveway). Retrieve the parking pass from inside the condo and hang it on your rear view mirror. PLEASE return it upon departure to avoid a $25 fee for misplaced parking passes. If need be, you may also park in any "permit" slot. Upon departure, please place keys back into lock box located by the door at 202B. Enjoy a peaceful, memorable vacation at an awesome location! Lovely stay at this quiet and beautiful condo. Incredibly comfortable bed, clean and modern, access to laundry was a big plus. Awesome view off the back patio. Property owner was very responsive and helpful.

We stayed for 3 nights here and totally loved it. First off the place was so well kept and I’m in fact taking notes on how they have arranged and set up things in the most elegant and efficient manner. The place is right for a couple and has all the amenities you need. The icing on the cake is the awesome host who went above and beyond to get us a car charger for both iPhone and android :) and truly appreciate the flexibility we had a late check out as well. Overall great experience. The only thing to watch out is the bed is in attic at the top and will have less air circulation think creative to get the fans and ac on when you sleep and it works totally fine!

We were in this pleasant condo for a week. Plenty of room for a couple.
There are only a couple of things to be aware of. First is that the "bedroom" is the loft, accessed by a 9' ladder. The bed there is comfortable. The third bed is a sofa that can be arranged into a surprisingly good bed. The condo is essentially one spacious room so it's all one contiguous space.
The balcony has a nice view and the A/C works great (also has a dehumidifier setting if you want less cooling).
The place is very clean and well stocked including a water filter pitcher and ice packs in the refrigerator and plenty of towels and bathroom supplies.
We didn't have any issues with noise -- the roosters didn't even start crowing until 8:00.
The management is pretty responsive to VRBO and text messages.
There is a pizza place right across the street and a nice ocean overlook a short walk away.
Hanalei is a short drive away and has lots of nice stores and restaurants (be aware that the bridge to Hanalei will be closed intermittently starting Jan 2, 2024 through February).
Do recommend (as long as you can handle that ladder).

This apartment has everything you need. It’s cozy, quiet, clean, has amazing view into the green backyard and is in a great location. We especially enjoyed the balcony and cozy couch during rainy weather. The bed is comfortable and in a loft (reachable via ladder). We’d come back here in the future!

Do not stay at this property!! The owner is unfeeling, unethical and only cares about money. My wife broke her ankle. We requested to change our reservation so she had a chance to recover. We chose a date that he had no reservation. He refused stating it would be bad for his budget. We lost everything we had paid because he wouldn't give us any money back. He even kept the cleaning fee. There are better properties in Princeville. Don't risk what we did. Rent somewhere else. Also, be aware that you have to climb a ladder to get to the bedroom.

Condo was exactly as described and more. Many amenities, which was helpful for our short stay. Loved the privacy off the back patio, even the rooster crowing in the morning. Loft bedroom was easy and quaint. Other reviews spoke of noise, but we had no issues.
Location is within walking distance of multiple beaches, restaurants, shops, golf, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

We really liked this place. It was in a quiet spot with a wonderful view from the balcony of the lush, green mountains. The A/C worked great. You have to climb a ladder to get to the sleeping area and there was no separate door to the area but that was all clearly described in the description and was not a problem for us. The A/C reached that area vey nicely so we were always cool at night, which I have found to be essential when staying in Kauai in August. I highly recommend this place for anyone that does not have a problem climbing the short ladder to the sleeping area.

Wonderful place to stay, the birds singing in the trees behind the condo at night and the morning were so peaceful, this was like a little oasis! The place has a great kitchen, laundry, amenities. Close to Queen's Bath and beaches - everything in walking distance!

This condo covered all the basic needs … clean, good bed and full kitchen. However it was the little things I really appreciated. Beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkels, fins, cooler, cold ice packs in the freezer, air conditioning and a water filter. It’s perfect for a couple :) I think anymore then two would be a tight fit.

The sliding glass door to the porch does not lock.
The owners did not send a code for the door and did not answer our repeated phone calls. We had to call Vrbo several times. Actually had to get help from a neighbor.
Read the fine print. The bed is in a loft with a steep ladder. You can’t carry anything up to bed while you climb up.
There is NO privacy as the window covers are see-thru and you have to dress in the bathroom.
Also, cockroaches in the kitchen and ants in the bathroom.
The dishwasher was broken and Cable TV quit half-way through our stay ( with a message to pay the bill).

We enjoyed our stay here during our visit to Kauai. The location is so nice. Walking distance to Hideaways and Queens Bath (both small parking lots/ parking is a struggle). Comfortable bed, nice kitchen and supplies! We loved the cooler, beach chairs, and snorkel gear that was provided as well. Owners were very responsive with any questions. Don’t have anything but great things to say! Mahalo!

There is very limited parking. It is noisy with traffic going but the back lanai is very cozy and wonderful views. The ladder to the loft is very steep and would not recommend it for anyone over the age of 40!

Everything was perfect! We has a fantastic stay. The room/bed is upstair so you have to be able to go up ;) No beach near but with a car everything is so close. Parking is easy also. Nice water gear to do activities on our own. Great place!

This was a great stay and we would not hesitate to book again. A family of 4 with 2 kids. Lots of little touches we appreciated - water filter, rice cooker. Please note that there is only one bed. There is not a pull out couch. That said, the couch was new, large, and comfortable for both of our kids to sleep on easily. We liked it so much we ordered the same couch for our home. Thank you for the pleasant stay!

Owner promised to bring a mattress over but didn’t. There wasn’t room for it anyways. Only two beach towels. Property was clean and in a good location. Communication with the host was poor.

Lovely space, with a very high loft bedroom, which was climbed by many a famous person, as well as myself. Upon perusing the guest book, we discovered a review by none other than another 52-year old Asian female! Inspiring! You can still feel the energy of the Secret Service. You can rest assured that everything is secure in this unit.

I had a great stay! Host answered all my questions. Walking distance to hideaway beach where we saw huge sea turtles and surfed! Place is super cozy on a rainy day and it you want to stay in. Parking is right in front and WiFi works great

The VRBO is so cute and comfortable! Full kitchen, nice dining and living space, the bed is super comfortable too! Love that there was AC too. Made it nice in the evening. Beautiful condo. Close to the town of Hanalei which is really fun to hang at and shop around and eat/drink!

Spacious apartment located in a very beautiful area, however, for those who go to Kauai thinking about trails, waterfalls and boat trips, it is better to stay further south of the island. Dark stairs to the bed area. Contrary to what the ad suggests, there is only one parking space to be used by guests in two different apartments. Sometimes when the parking space is occupied, it can be a challenge to find parking spaces. There are some cobwebs on the apartment's ceiling and the carpet, which is light in color, is already a little grimy. The kitchen does not have enough pans and utensils for those who intend to cook.

Very nice condo, clean, comfortable and It had everything we needed (good kitchen, beach and snorkeling gear..) I specially liked to see the trees and views from the balcony as well as the neighbourhood overall. There is a small beach 5-10 mins walk where you can do snorkeling and see some coral and turtles.
Things to keep in mind:
-the stairs to the bedroom are quite steep.
-the parking spot is shared with the condo un front.

Excellent spot to stay with a great apartment. Would not recommend for anyone with difficulties moving as ladder up to loft could potentially be a challenge. Parking situation was up in the air the first day but was resolved through a short chat with the condo community manager.

It's located a short distance from Honolei Beach and other attractions. It has all the amenities you need for an extended stay.

Great location, the space was big, the bed was comfy, the kitchen was well equipped. On our first day, we took the wrong key (there's a front door key and an inner door key-not marked) and were locked out. The staff helped us out right away and went above and beyond to get us back in! The only complaint we have is the description says air conditioned. This place is NOT air conditioned. The first night, the sleeping loft was 85 degrees. The AC window unit blows air, but the kitchen window doesn't close so any attempt at using the AC will only move air around, not cool. We contacted the owner and he said he would look into it- we just opened all the windows, took a cool shower before bed and bought an extra fan (we left it there for the next friends). Most nights were in the 70's so it eventually cooled off. Overall we had a very nice stay.
