Highly enjoyed our 2nd summer at the quaint home on the canal. The easy access to the canal for walking, biking, boat watching and fishing is amazing! When it gets a bit too hot, a dip in the pool is refreshing. everything is well maintained. The yard is very large and has a beautiful shade tree to get out of the direct sun when needed! Hope to come back again next year as well.

This property is beautiful, well maintained, rustic. Everything was very clean and the house, yard and pool are well stocked with everything you could possibly need! I loved that a whole set of towels, including a pool towel were left on each bed. The beds are comfortable and the full house a/c was wonderful since we were there for three of the hottest days of July. Waiting to see what boats, ships and trains would come by was a fun past time. A train came by 2-3 times a day, including the Cape Cod dinner train, the Cape Flyer and the trash train. The yard offers several outdoor seating options including a lovely shady area under a big tree. This house is located in a quaint neighborhood and offers so much to do from napping in the hammock, to walking/biking the canal.

We loved being on the water and having a pool too. We really enjoyed ourselves this week but had no AC upstairs in the bedrooms for my kids and also they said 2 baths but one is in the basement. Didn’t know this before hand. I really think when you look into a vacation home they should be upfront about important things like AC and bathroom in the basement. Otherwise we really had a wonderful time.

We had an absolutely lovely time at the canal home. Watching the boats the trains which actually were close but not too close! Conductors and passengers waving as they went by my grand children thought that was amazing!! My grandson’s jaw dropped and he was speechless the first time ! The trains do not run at all hours of the night which was a relief they had a very distinct schedule. The pool was a wonderful retreat from the heat. The pool was very clean and they provided many floats and pool toys for children The home was lovely with a bit of nostalgia to it. Clean and well-kept. The neighbors were very friendly as well. We walked and rode bikes up and down the canal which is always great exercise and highly enjoyable. The past negative reviews were obviously due to prior management as Vacasa was very responsive to our only one call made regarding the TV remote but we’re very personal when called upon and walked us through. The manager actually lives 5 minutes up the road and assured us he was available for any other concerns we might have. We will definitely look forward to renting again in the future!!!

House was very clean . If you forgot something I’m sure the home had it. Very convenient. Fees are a little heavy . 2 days of down pour . Didn’t get to use the pool as much as I wanted so I paid extra to stay . Glad it was there as an option overall would book again for sure

Property was way more than we had expected! So peaceful, but very close to everything. They provided sheets, towels and pool floats, which you really don’t see in a lot of rentals. We have quickly fallen in love with this property. We are so excited and can’t wait to come back!

Disappointing vacation
Disappointing vacation
Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were so excited to come to the Cape for a week to meet up with family. However, when we arrived the house was not ready on time. We had to unload and fold towels, empty the dishwasher, take old tea bags out of the coffee maker, remove broken pool floats from the pool area, the hammock was broken, the tv upstairs was smashed and stuffed in the closet, the fan in the upstairs bedroom was covered in dust, the dressers and lamps were covered in dust, the bathroom rugs were filthy, the grill and firepit were full of other people old charcoal and wood, and to top it all off the toilet seat was broken off the toilet and made a toilet not be functional until someone came Wednesday afternoon to fix it. Just overall the house needs a good cleaning and painting and someone needs to be checking between renters on the condition of things. We did not fell the house was cleaned as the cleaning people were at the house from 3:30 to 4:12 only and had to strip and make 7 beds and clean with only two cleaners for that amount of time.

Nice, well maintained property. Nose next to the bridge was not bad or overwhelming. Quiet neighborhood.
