The location was great as it was a 15mins drive to the family gathering we came for. The property was clean Beds were comfy as kids slept well.

There wasn't car park available as we had to look for somewhere to park. The garden needs a bit of a tender care. Kids couldn't play in garden as it was bushy. Very noisy stairs.

The accommodation was close to the station. The cleaner did a very good job given the circumstances. She made a special trip to bring spare toilet rolls a hairdryer and a tea towel for the kitchen. She couldn’t have been more helpful.

The house had the feel of a place that had been prepared for a move. It totally lacked creature comforts. I knew it had wooden floors throughout but there were no rugs or even bath mats. The stairs were incredibly noisy, to prevent waking my grandson we had to avoid stepping on the third step. The bathroom was in poor repair. The bath drained poorly and the shower curtain was old and dirty. The floor was badly stained around the toilet and sink. There were no spare toilet rolls only a half used roll in each bathroom. The door frames and doors throughout were grimy. The two single beds were uncomfortable, the mattresses were very thin. The rubber sheets on the bed made for sweaty nights. The curtains was totally inadequate for keeping out the light. Downstairs in the kitchen and the living room there were ants, both on the floor and the on the sofa. There was an overflowing rubbish bin outside the kitchen window, which the cleaner came and emptied the first evening. The back garden, near the patio door was strewn with discarded cigarette ends, there had obviously been a party held at the house in the days before we arrived. There was an old fence panel on the grass at the back of the garden. Basically the place was a mess. It wouldn’t take a lot of effort to make the house a nice place to stay. A little time and effort from the owner, or whoever manages the property, would make the world of difference.

property was not clean, ants everywhere and even in bedrooms, had to buy 6 ant trap type things. floors weren’t clean and had a funny smell throughout property. Room door handles hanging off. hair in down stairs toilet. bedroom curtains just let the light through so may as well not been there bath had hair in plug hole
