Not good.

Location is great.

The property is run down, when we arrived the angry neighbor asked if we were the owners as the state of the property is unacceptable, it appears the property is left unattended until it is rented. There is a smell of BO in the house, the upholstered sofas and throw pillows have an odor, I read that the sofa covers are washed after each visit, however the cream colored sofa does not have a cover, is dirty and it and the throw pillows smell awful. Are all the bed linens laundered after each visit, including the comforters? The chimney leaks which asks the question … is mold present? The faucet and shower head in the en-suite are still loose, although a previous review stated they had been fixed. The tub in the en-suite has been painted and that paint is peeling off. There are rusty paint cans and debris on the patio off the kitchen, the metal chairs on that patio are rusty too and the glass on the table was not clean. The BBQ is dirty and rusty and after one use it ran out of propane. The windows are all dirty, the front door is dirty around the lock and handle. The garage, which houses the WM & TD looks like a junk yard with old furniture, paint tins etc. The ice machine in the fridge does not work, again, in a previous review, it was stated that this had been fixed.

Simple comfortable hideaway with quick beach access

Hideaway location with convenient access to beach and lots of parking room was great. Beds and sofas were comfy. Nice floor layout for gathering. Grill worked. Most appliances worked. Kitchen had everything we needed. Roomy private deck out back. Outside hose to rinse sand off feet was a bonus. House was clean.

Sheets and bedding were non existent for sofa hide-a-beds, although there were a lot of extra pillows without pillowcases in the closet. No hand towels anywhere, or kitchen towels or potholders. Ice maker and garbage disposal did not work. Lots of lightbulbs need to be replaced throughout house. No laundry facilities.

Good location relaxing but needs serious TLC

Location to the beach is very nice. And it’s very private

It needs some serious TLC and more than 4 towels for a group to stay there. If they aren’t going to provide more towels they should fix all the broken appliances. You can tell the owner is just about making money because the outside of the place is starting to fall apart.
