We decided to bring our family, including grandparents, to stay at this beautiful house on Lake Keowee. We spent one day on the Clemson University campus which was only about 20 minutes away. Darol was an excellent host and made sure my mom was well taken care of as she is in a wheel chair full time. This home allowed her to go up and down the stairs via a roll on lift and she was able to sit out on any porch she wanted to, which is unusual for most homes. We would like to go back in the summertime so that we can spend time out on the lake. She would be able to roll her wheelchair all the way down to the dock which is awesome. Roll in showers and accessible bathrooms make this house a dream for families like ours. We had plenty of room with our four children and hope to go back again soon. Highly recommend this home for it's spacious design, modern decor, great location and a wonderful host.

Beautiful home and we enjoyed our stay. Did not get to take advantage of the lake, as it was too cold, but it is a great set up for summertime outdoor fun. Hope to visit again. Thanks.

My wife and I met up with our 3 adult children for a few days over the holiday. We only get together as a group a few times a year. This was an excellent choice for us to enjoy time together. Plenty of space and a well integrated kitchen, dining, and living area.

We had a glorious time at this amazing property. The location is excellent! Not too far from town and in a nice quiet cul-de-sac on the water. Great fishing! The water was crystal clear from the sandy beach. Sitting on the lovely dock in the Clemson orange adirondacks was such a pleasure with family, listening to the water lap on the dock. We had a great time kayaking from the house with the provided kayaks too. It's a nice quiet cove, just a few boats came by--one letting their son fishing from a different boat time for dinner & to come on home--and we kayaked out to the bridge which was quite a distance & had fun racing around some low water buoys and never felt we were in danger of being run over. There is a great firepit, actually so many outside places to relax from the dual chaise lounges off the master, to some rockers below & an outdoor sofa set. The inside is just as wonderful! Nice, clean decor that is still welcoming. Very comfortable beds & couch. The table large enough for a game or puzzle and family meals. The kitchen had all the things you needed and plenty of room for several cooks in the kitchen. The upstairs showers are walkin, handicapped accessible with luxurious overhead and body spray showerheads. Lots of closet room. This place was terrific and the owner was very good at letting us know about the home & the area. True Southern hospitality. My family has already asked me to book it again so we can do a longer family visit. Absolutely first class!

We have stayed at this property in the past and had a great time. It is the perfect layout for our family. The only thing I would improve if the 2 upstairs mattresses. They are very tough on the back. Otherwise, this place is awesome!

This Lake House was spectacular. Every room was spacious and open! Having access to the paddle boards and kayaks topped was icing on the cake. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Highly recommend!!

We loved our week here. This home feels welcoming and cozy and is a Godsend for anyone in need of wheelchair accessibility. Everything you could need to enjoy a week at the lake. We loved the proximity of the water to the patio. The property is beautifully landscapes and feels private with wooded area beside it. Swimming, fishing, boating…. Keowee is a beautiful lake and we made special memories being here. Thank you!

I booked this location for our son's graduation and needed an ADA home. This home was amazing and my 90 year old stepdad had great accommodations. Location is so peaceful and had a memory filled stay. Darol was so kind and helped us with everything. Would love to visit again!

Darol’s home was spectacular! The dock and outdoor spaces were all amazing! No boat traffic in the beautiful hidden cove. Darol couldn’t have been a better host. Highly recommend High Falls Boat Rentals for a pontoon. Darol has an extra spot on the dock for it and it absolutely made the trip. We were able to hang on the boat, fish, happy hour, and watch the kids on the dock. Kayaks and paddle boards were a plus too. We let the kids paddle around with no worries. Highly recommend! Thanks, Darol. Can’t wait to come back!

The house has a beautiful setting on the lake. The accommodations are spacious and very comfortable. House is fully equipped with all the amenities you need. I highly recommend this house for a family getaway and are hoping we can get back in the summer time to enjoy the lake even more.

This home is a true gem, quiet, peaceful, and so relaxing. My husband is a T6 paraplegic in a wheelchair, and was able to do everything with us. He fished off the dock with us, and loved the adapted bathrooms, showers, and kitchen. This space was better adapted than our own home. There is a full lift up and down connecting the first and second story. My husband was able to roll his wheelchair on the lift and access the entire property easily. We definitely plan to stay here again! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the home, as each bedroom was very large with many large windows to provide natural light and great views of the lake. Terrace level has many options for comfortable relaxation, which we enjoyed the large kitchen island area, outside fire ring, grilling, and outside dining. Incredibly landscaped. We pulled our boat up from ATL Lake Lanier and the owners allowed us to use their dock, and to top it off, the price for all was very economical.

We had a fantastic time here- peaceful, calm, relaxing stay. Cove was quiet and private without much boat traffic- water quality and depth was perfect. Used kayak and paddle board, both in good condition. Indoors was spacious and clean- slept soundly. Outdoor hangout spaces were perfect- enjoyed grilling and entertaining outside. Communication was prompt and owner helpful and worked with us. Already booked for next year- can't wait to come back!

My sister that lives here has a boat and we love doing a yearly family lake keowee trip. We have tried a few properties over the years and this was definitely our favorite! Great communication and very welcoming/hospitable host and great house/location. We would definitely book again if our family group stays small enough. Thanks again so much Darol for a great birthday lake stay! 10/10 would recommend!! Oh also was a great house for our toddlers ages 1-2.5yr.

Perfect house for a getaway with family! The three bedrooms with their own baths are huge and clutter-free. The two upstairs bedrooms have doors to the balcony which are perfect for nighttime get-together. Or, down on the first level, step outside the living room doors onto a patio with dining and fire pit. The walk to the lake/dock is very easy. The owner, Darol, was so accessible and friendly. We will be back!

This house was perfect for our family. We spend a few days with our teenage daughters, and a few of their friends who dropped by throughout our stay. The house itself is beautiful, with impressive upgrades throughout, and the back yard and dock is perfect for spending evenings and early mornings enjoying the view. The cove that this house is on is the nicest one that we have stayed at to date....it is quite large, but there was no traffic other than other occupants of the cove. We spent a lot of time swimming and paddle boarding in the cove and dock, and it is in great proximately to both Keowee Marina (for rentals) and Crooked Creek RV park (for fueling up). The bedrooms are quite large, and the main great room was perfect for meals and games at night. The second story deck provided a quiet space to read or lounge, and the coffee station and min-fridge on that level was so useful to have. We would definitely recommend this house for your next stay at Lake Keowee.
