The Neighborhood: The apartment is situated walking distance to bars, cafes, restaurants, museums and hospitals. It is located in a central area; 4 blocks or about 5 minutes walking from the building to the main square - Plaza de Armas and one block from the San Lazaro square where there are very good bars and restaurants. You are walking distance from the famous and trendy Mercaderes Street where no cars are allowed on the street. The pedestrianization of Mercaderes Street might be the best decision the former mayor could have made for Arequipa. You are 5 minutes away from Fundo El Fierro where you can buy local and national handcrafts; great tourist destination looking to buy a local souvenir. Getting Around: The property is approximately 4.2 Kilometers or about 15 minutes from the Airport by taxi depending on the traffic situation. We recommend you down load tine indrive app to request a taxi. Uber is available but taxi's are more convenient. There is some zones on the street where you can park for free. But usually is full of vehicles, paid private parking with security camera is available in front of the building.
