The space was wonderful! The views were beautiful and we enjoyed the outdoor deck areas and fire pit. The bedrooms had comfortable beds with nice bedding. The owner responded very quickly to all my questions.

We loved our stay. There was plenty of room for all 12 of us. We had everything we needed and would definitively stay again. It's one of the properties with the least amount of steps which made getting the kayak to the lake easier

Lots of room with a great view of the lake. Cabin is well maintained with lots of extras. We really enjoyed our stay and the owner was friendly and helpful. We have recommended to friends and would definitely stay here again!! Special thanks to Sherry for the help with our left behind clothes!!

We really enjoyed our stay at A Deck with a view. Having young married adult kids the room and bed set up worked well for us. The upstairs loft worked well for our single young adult kids. It does take a little while for the upstairs to cool down but by nighttime it was fine. The view from the screened porch was my favorite! There are 74 steps down to the water so a lot less than some of the houses we saw. Trident Marina is an 8 min drive and 5 min boat ride. The boat rental was a huge hit. The house in an older home but has lots of charm. The separate little “cottage” was perfect for my husband and I to get away from the kids since they stay up so late. I knew it didn’t have a dishwasher so I was prepared and brought lots of paper/plastic products. There are plenty of dish towels, bath towels and beach towels. All the kids commented on how comfortable the beds were. The house is not fancy but it has a great cozy feel.

The house is a bit rustic but great for a quaint family/ friends getaway. We brought kayaks and paddle boards and had a great time paddling around Smith Lake and also swimming right off the dock. We were there over July 4th, and it wasn’t too crowded. The best time to paddle was, of course, early in the morning before the lake got busy with boats. The screened in back porch was wonderful for our morning coffee, and no bugs got in. Love that it’s pet friendly. I recommend bringing your own can opener. The house has both a standard coffee maker and a Keurig. Dominic was an excellent host.

This venue had wonderful lake access, decks, patios and boat slip. We had an awesome time outdoors enjoying the lake. The house had plenty of room and was cozy. The carpet could have been cleaner. The detached master suite definitely has odor problems, otherwise it was a great place to stay.

Our family of five had a great time here. The lake was inviting. We stayed through the week and it was very peaceful and relaxing. We spent the late afternoons in the arcade area. Had a fire and s’mores at the fire pit overlooking the lake. Our family had a great time. It’s a beautiful lake. The Only thing we’d do different, is stay longer!

The overall stay was great, the property was nice, very small issues not worth mentioning. The master guest house was a little stale when we first arrived, but was better the second day. I found the decks and porch to be fantastic. The grill is probably on its last leg or needs some work, but we had a great time.

My husband and I completely loved our stay here. Pictures just dont do it justice. We spent majority of our time lounging on the back screened in porch. Ample kitchen space that has everything you could possibly need! Open dining room & living room was spacious & cozy. Couches are comfortable and spacious. Everything was clean & tidy when we arrived. Checkin was a breeze. We enjoyed our foosball tournament in the downstairs as well, lol! Overall, we were completely satisfied, enjoyed the lake views, and a few days of swimming at dock. Highly recommend!

This was a surprise graduation trip for my daughter! We had the BEST time at the cabin! Our stay was perfect, the cabin was perfect! Communication with the property manager ensure a good experience and even coordinated a smooth transition with the next guests who needed to arrive early. This was my first experience staying in a lake house. The property was quiet with a good view of the lake. The beds were very comfy. The property had all of what we needed for our stay. There is a great country store a few miles down the road that offer items you forgot to bring. We also found a nice local eating place called Kat Daddy's BBQ which had great good. The host was very responsive with returning answers to questions. I would definitely stay here again.

Our family lives in the area and we come to visit often!! This place will become a regular rental for us!! I love the game cabinet for the kids! The peacefulness of the porch swing and openness of the living area with kitchen! It is a perfect spot for a large family to visit together!

A large group of friends and I stayed the weekend and absolutely LOVED it. It never once felt cramped— there was sufficient beds and seating, and with the porch and patio, the space was infinite! Everything was clean, comfy, and cozy. The kitchen was well equipped and made cooking easy. Such a lovely and secluded cabin. Can’t beat the views. Not a single complaint or suggestion. The dogs loved it, too. We’ll definitely be back! Worth mentioning— we saw a small copperhead slithering in the grass. Just be wary if you wander off the deck.

This house is the cutest on Smith Lake. We loved how it was split up because we had several families staying there and we needed girls in basement and boys on 2nd floor. Lots of beds and lots of room to hang out. The view from the deck was awesome. The screen porch was nice in July with the fans and view. We spent most of our time down at the lake hanging out with everyone. We did bring our boat and it was nice to be able to ride around. But the cove we were able to swim in was perfect. We can't wait to return.

We had the best time ever!!! Celebrating 2 birthdays, a 60 yr old Grana and a 4yr old granddaughter! The house fit our family perfect. It was welled stocked with everything we needed. The host was amazing to work with and was there to answer any questions we had on a timely manner. The decks are amazing and the boat dock, lily pad and the beautiful water made our stay even more perfect. We will plan to stay again. Thanks for sharing your beautiful lake cabin with us. Tammy

Had a surprise birthday get away for my husband and invited our friends and family from out of town. There was plenty of room for all of us(12 at the house), some stayed in hotels or other rentals in the area. The house is very clean and the owner is constantly making upgrades. Only recommendation I have is to make sure when going to the dock you bring everything with you..,,after my 5th trip up for the day I finally counted the stairs lol. 74 of them from the upstairs main house down to the dock! We had so much fun that we have decided to make this an annual vacation but next time it’ll be for an entire week.

We booked this lake house for a quick Father's day trip. The Lake House was perfect!! It has a beautiful view of the lake while sitting on the screened in porch. We all enjoyed the oversized swing for relaxing and enjoying the view. Plenty of room for the whole family. The detached master suite was amazing!! They had everything we needed from beach towels to after sun lotion which we needed after staying on the water all day. The owner was very nice, and responded very quickly to any questions we had. We can't wait to go back!!

We had a wonderful time! The owner/host was awesome, very upfront about the construction/upgrades that were underway but everything was cleaned up and ready to use with nothing in the way. The decks on this house are the best. Safe, clean, furnished. The view!!! The name fits the location for sure. The beds were comfortable and linens were sure soft and nice. The cabin itself is an old, true cabin vibe and exactly what we loved about it. We loved the different areas and how you could find quiet easy in a different section of the bouse. Cozy, clean and cute. Stairs to water were new super nice, safe and in my opinion not too many. Dock is on the smaller side but still nice with everything you need. Driveway has ample parking and easy access. We mostly cooked, kitchen is stocked with everything you need, but we did visit Trident Bar and Grill and I highly reccomend. Over all 10/10 for this authentic cabin. We will definitely stay again. The only negative I have, is that I wish it was mine!!

The yellow and pink cabin was a unique surprise. The kitchen has everything you need. The beds are quite comfortable and the whole place is going through a face lift. Wished the downstairs was accessible through the main floor but all was good.
