Situated in Twain Harte, this lovely house for £228 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Relax at our beautiful forest lodge. Explore the area! 20 min to Pinecrest lake and Dodge Ridge ski resort. Ski, swim, hike, golf, bike or relax. Visit Yosemite. Great WiFi for remote work. Five separate remote office setups. Open floor-plan, 55" smart TV, pianos, a mix of social games. Pool table downstairs, magnetic dart board. Relaxing two-level deck: garden swing, table tennis, gas BBQ. Beautiful canyon views right across the road. Multiple trailheads within 10 min walk. Ideal space if you want to ski, hike, relax, or work in seclusion; or all the above. Separate AC settings for each bedroom. Two pianos. 1984sqft on two levels. Check-in is automated via a smart lock. You will have all the house to yourself. A few storage areas are kept under lock and key or clearly marked as private. These do not impact your stay, as you wouldn't normally use any of them anyways. * There will be someone to help you out if you request help. * Help is best effort. If a storm is on, we may not be able to reach you. The neighborhood is within driving distance to Twain Harte, a beautiful town nested on the slopes of the Sierras. A perfect base for skiing, hiking, visiting Yosemite national park. Hiking trails within walking distance. Having a car is still a good idea, since some sights are within close driving distance. ***NOTE***: At least one positive review required to book. This is a high country area. Please exercise reasonable caution when driving and moving around, especially during snow and ice. Expect to see deer, wild turkeys, raccoons, coyotes and skunks year round. We get an occasional bear or mountain lion, too. Lost items will be kept for 30 days. After that we will consider your items abandoned and will donate them. All amenities are available seasonally. If you require something in particular, like access to a hot tub, or a ping pong table, or grill during your stay, please if this is possible ahead of reserving. Sometimes access to some amenities it is not possible for weather, safety or other reasons. *** Absolutely NO SMOKING ANYWHERE inside, or outside on the property *** *** Smoking is an extreme fire hazard - our house is in the woods so we care a lot. *** *** Pet fee covers normal wear and tear. Accidents not covered. *** * No shoes in the house. * Be gentle with the piano. * Take care of your pets - they could get lost or may run into local wildlife if outside. * Follow septic tank instructions closely. * Toddler beds available on request. * The property yard is not a doggy park - walk your pets elsewhere. * Pick up and clean up in case of pet accidents.

We booked this property on VRBO for Labor Day weekend and encountered numerous issues. Despite requesting an early check-in, the host demanded additional fees and failed to ensure the property was clean upon arrival. Both BBQ and Oven were so filthy they almost caught fire. This was booked specifically for the hot tub & of course it was broken. The host did not send assistance and only offered a partial refund. The property had excessive rules, not listed on the actual listing, but in a binder in the home. We were unjustly charged for damages, to which after me arguing with the host and her calling me name after name and threatening me, did she remove those fees. Overall, this experience was by far the worst in our six plus years of vacation rentals. The home was not clean, & extremely cluttered. There is no room at all & especially not very “kid friendly” with all the rules they have. God forbid you bring it to their attention, they will attack you & anyone who leaves any negative review. Check out ALL their reviews, not just on this platform! Same experience with others. Beware of these scammers.
