A big plus…The interior of this home was immaculate! Everything a family needs for a relaxing lake vacation! Top notch VRBO! However, the porches weren’t cleaned at all! We could not sit on the furniture downstairs as it was covered with leaves and debris without having to do a major cleanup ourselves. Since you have to pay a cleaning fee..that area should have be included. We had no internet access except for a partial day on the first day. So, if you lose internet access while staying there and you have AT&T as a cell provider -beware that you’ll have no way to call out in case of an emergency! Kevin, the property mgr, tried to get the internet up and running but it went out again the next day for the remainder of our stay. It rained most of the day on both days, and since we were there with 3 very young, active, energetic kiddos, not having internet or access to any movies on TV was not a good fit for them. I suggest the owner provide a DVD player and alert future families to bring their own DVD’s since we had no access via the internet to get to our own movie apps! Word of advice…the walk down to the lake is quite steep and dangerous for an elderly person. The renters need to be made aware of this in the event someone expects they will have quick lake access. There are no steps to the cove in the lake, but lots of loose rock and woods to maneuver through to get down to the lake. We still had a great time…just nice to be together with the entire family and grandkids!
