A quick glimpse into yesteryear: This area was originally settled in 1863 by Henry Blodgett, a pioneer trapper and hunter. Later, he gave a portion of his 160 acres to P.H. Roundtree. In 1903, Mr. Roundtree began platting the townsite and named it Joe Creek, after the nearby creek. Later, the name was changed to Pacific Beach. The new courtyard has two new hot tubs, a conversation area surrounding a propane fire, all covered by gazebos (also screened and solid curtains) for use 365 days a year! There are also 2 charcoal BBQs and 1 charcoal smoker. Please bring your own charcoal. Children must be supervised at all times. Dogs are not allowed in the courtyard for safety and sanitary reasons.
