Received a message after booking months ago about "auto-check-in" but upon arrival there was no one to speak to or instructions. Called VRBO and the owner "Authentic Reservations" and eventually received a message through VRBO app there had been a sudden emergency and the property was unavailable. (This is while standing in front of the locked property with luggage in the unseasonably cold 45 degree Atlanta weather.) We were offered to drive to two other properties to see if they were acceptable but we needed the Atlantic Station Location and ended up having to book two rooms at the local Marriott at greater cost at the last moment. I was very sorry to hear of the owner's sudden emergency and hope he is OK but some notice before arrival would have been more professional. He did give a prompt full refund but the experience was a bad one.

The experience was above and beyond my expectations. The location of the property was in a great neighborhood and not to far from stores and the center of the city.

We are frequent VRBO renters and have never had a problem with a rental property or relationship. We booked this property well in advance of the GT Family Weekend in mid-September. A couple days out I had not received the door codes. I was surprised but didn't worry. The day of the rental I checked online for codes in the morning, but they were not uploaded into the VRBO application. We have had this happen before so I didn't get worried and assumed they would come by email or text. The day got busy and next thing I know we are packing to head out the door, we are an hour and 25 minutes past check-in time, and still no codes. I emailed the owner through VRBO asking for the codes. No response. I looked up the owner phone number and texted and received no response. Finally, I contacted VRBO by phone. They confirmed the phone number and said they would reach out to the owner. The owner finally calls me two hours past check in time and tells me that he just found out that the current renter had an emergency and had to extend the stay, but that he had another property to offer me....10+ miles (so a good 20 minutes from GT with Atlanta traffic - definitely not walking distance) from the original property. I asked the owner why I had not received the check in codes if he just received word about the emergency AFTER scheduled check-in? He stated that he meant to say that he received word that afternoon. I asked why I wasn't contacted that afternoon, and he told me he didn't have access to a phone. It was obvious that he double booked the property. I told him we were not interested in a property that far from the venue and that I would be sure to leave him a review on VRBO. He responded with, "Your reservation was already canceled 15 minutes ago. Good luck leaving a review on a place where you never stayed. It will be removed." I responded with, "Class act. I'll share these messages with VRBO." To which he replied, "Please do. I will still be a premiere host." Do not rent from this owner or Authentic Reservations. You will be disappointed if you do....very unprofessional.

It is a pretty department really well situated.

Great location! Owner was very responsive and the condo was in good condition and very clean. I will definitely be back!

The location was great, the unit was clean except the carpet in the Master bedroom, needs to be shampooed.. I would definite stay there again.
