We had the distinct privilege of staying at Sala Historical Luxury Suites from July 3rd to July 5th, and we were absolutely blown away by the experience. From the moment we arrived, the owner warmly welcomed us, showcasing an organized and efficient approach that made our check-in process seamless. Their friendly demeanour and the abundance of invaluable tips about local sights and places to visit in Rhodos enriched our stay and allowed us to explore this beautiful location like true insiders. The suite was immaculately clean, thoughtfully designed with luxurious details, and steeped in history, making us feel a part of Rhodos' rich past. The inclusion of delightful amenities, such as high-quality glasses and a coffee machine, significantly added to our overall comfort. The garden was a true oasis of tranquillity. Its cozy and romantic atmosphere, perfectly paired with the historical ambience of the suites, made for many cherished moments, whether we were enjoying our morning coffee or unwinding in the evening. Although the suites are situated around 10 minutes walking distance from the Old Town, we found this to be an advantage, as it offered both easy access to the bustling center and a peaceful retreat. Moreover, the convenient parking availability was a substantial benefit that truly enhanced our stay, providing peace of mind and flexibility for our trips around Rhodos. In summary, Sala Historical Luxury Suites is more than just an accommodation; it's an embodiment of luxury, comfort, and history wrapped in a welcoming atmosphere. It is a place we highly recommend for anyone looking to create unforgettable memories in Rhodos. Eagerly awaiting our next visit!

Very happy with everything. The accommodation was brand new and perfect for us. The location great for Rhodes town. Sebastian very attentive to all our needs. The internal courtyard was lovely.

The communication from Sebastian was excellent. All the necessary information and occasional check-ins with us. Very professional and not intrusive. The setting is beautiful and every detail is covered. Spotlessly clean and quiet. A beautiful garden to sit and relax in. We will definitely stay again. Highly recommend this location

The only very small issue is there is a shortage of storage for clothes. However there is a clothes rail and one large drawer.

Sala Historical Suites is the perfect place to stay in Rhodes Town. It is located in a quiet area of the new town only 10 minutes walk from the Acropolis in one direction and 10 minutes walk to the Medieval town in the other direction. Nearby there is a bakery and a few mini markets. The apartment we stayed in was one of seven which have been beautifully restored from an old farmhouse - maintaining the old features alongside modern decor and fittings. The modern kitchen is ideal for some self catering with a hob, fridge with small freezer compartment, toastiemaker and Nespresso machine as well as plenty crockery, utensils, olive oil, salt and pepper. The bathroom includes one of the best showers we have ever had in a holiday apartment as well as plentiful toiletries and a good hairdryer. The bedroom is beautifully decorated with a really comfy bed and pillows and we were provided with towels, beach towels, robes and slippers. There is air con/ heating and TV with Netflix in both the living area and the bedroom. Our favourite area however was the peaceful courtyard outside which is an oasis where we enjoyed drinks sitting beside the beautifully scented orange trees. All in all these apartments have everything you need but what made them really special was the friendly hospitality we received. Sebastian, the property manager, sent full information on the property and surrounding area beforehand and was there to meet us despite our late arrival. He also kept in touch regularly to make sure we had everything we needed and kindly arranged our taxi back to the airport. Patty was on hand every day and kept our apartment looking amazing. Athina and Heracles, the owners, are really friendly. They gave us a full tour of the suites explaining the history of the building and how they had restored it. We hope to return for another holiday soon.

Near Old Town

This was a lovely apartment with many thoughtful touches. I would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to experience Rhodes , take the time to explore but have a quiet retreat to come back to at the end of the day. As others have said it is comfortable and has everything you could want, but in addition it has a sense of peace, and the lovely garden to sit in when you have had enough of tourists and beaches and museums. Sebastian and Patty put themselves out to make us happy and I thank them for this

We had a fantastic stay. Sebastian is such a welcoming host and he made the place so cosy. It's situated in a local neighbourhood and only 10 min walk from the Old Town. We loved our apartment and especially the outside area, sitting out and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Wished we could stay longer :)

The love and care that went into creating this place is apparent in both rooms, courtyard and clearly reflected by the manager and the housekeeper, which both truly showed us the greek experience with their hospitality, politeness and genuinely good conversations. The first day we were shown some locally made products which are delightful and really shows the dedication to detail making sure the wine, snacks and hygiene products were short travelled and perfect. The beauty of the suites literally became a talking point with the other guests, for good reason as they look pristine, stylish yet somehow cozy with some carefully thought out rustic aspects. My partner didn’t want to leave! :^) As for the positioning of the suites, it’s within walk distance to everything within Rhodes City, usually being around 15 min which is perfect since the busyness of the city centre sometimes feels intimidating if one is tired. The sheer willingness to help is refreshing when in a foreign city where you can never truly get enough information and suggestions. Car rental, tips to restaurants and transport to the airport is just a few examples of many which you get sorted flawlessly for you, should you wish for it.

From start to finish, our stay at Sala Historical suites was exceptional. Before we landed in Rhodes, Sebastian the host messaged me to let us know what to do upon arrival and that someone would be there to greet us which was extremely helpful, and Sebastian checked in multiple times throughout the week to make sure everything was OK. The suites are set in there own private courtyard with beautiful gardens and plenty of seating for dinners outside and sunbathing. It's also worth noting how quiet the setting is - considering they are less than 10 mins walk from the old town, we never heard any noise from outside or other suites in the complex. Regarding location, this was perfect - the old town was less than 10 mins away and we visited this pretty much every day - I would highly recommend visiting 7Grams coffee for amazing breakfasts, Old Town Corner bakery for pastries, and Taverna Kostas/Marco Polo for a special meal in the old town. In addition to this, the suites have the most amazing local restaurant which is literally a few mins down the road - Ta Marasia - the food here was outstanding and we ended up going back 3 times throughout the week. Sebastian and his associate Patty were fantastic hosts and I could not rate this property/stay highly enough :-)

Everything was new, clean and modern. The courtyard in particular was a lovely place to have breakfast in the morning. It was generally a very peaceful place to rest after our day trips around the island. Sebastian and Patty were exceptionally friendly and helpful too. This really made the trip for me.

From check in to check out, everything about Sala Historical Apartments was sublime. Sebastian, the hotel manager, contacted us in advance to confirm our check in time so he could be there to receive us and show us the space. We were running late and he kindly assisted in calling a taxi. We spent 3 nights in this beautiful oasis. We especially enjoyed the suburban location, away from the chaos of the tourist centres, but an easy, 15min walk to the heart of the old town. The apartment was well furnished, stylish and practical. The outdoor areas were magical, though communal. A truly considered restoration of an ancient structure. We would definitely revisit Sala and also Ta Marasia, the restaurant down the road.

Authentic neighborhood with great restaurant (Ta Marasia!!!) and bakery. 20 minutes walk to the Old Town, Elli Beach, lot's of restaurants, the bus station and the harbour.

very nice place just few minutes from the old town. You can walk to Eli beach and to sunset view up the hill as well. The owner is very friendly and helpful, never seen such supportive and proactiveness👍🏻😀

We had the most amazing stay at Sala Suites, everything was brand new and cozy, very clean premises, modern design with a lot of beautiful historical details that creates a lovely atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who is travelling to Rhodes and wants to feel the original island vibe!
