Situated in Kill Devil Hills, this charming house for £365 per night is a great option for your next break. SEA LA VIE: Situated between the ocean and sound, less than 1/2 mile to water in either direction, is this updated and spacious house. Includes all linens, is well stocked and close to everything, with short stays offered year round. GROUND FLOOR: The 1st floor has a covered tiki bar room with extra fridge that opens to a full backyard with fire pit, Adirondack chairs, picnic table, corn hole boards, and a tree swing hammock chair. Enter level 1 to find a large bedroom with 2 queen beds and a full bathroom with walk in shower, all on the ground level (no steps). MIDDLE FLOOR: On the 2nd level is the main entrance with a covered front deck with 5 rocking chairs and a porch swing. Walk in to a mid-level living room with foosball and a shuffle board table, plus laundry room. The queen bedroom on the 2nd level features sliding doors that open to the covered deck. There is a full bath in the middle of the two bedrooms on this level. On the other side of the bathroom is a room with 2 twin beds (that can be pushed together). TOP FLOOR PRIVATE MASTER: Walk up to level 3 and enter into the great room with gas fireplace, cathedral ceiling, large TV, lots of games and a comfy couch. This level also has a half bath, as well as the king master bedroom which features a small workspace, and its own en-suite bathroom and jetted tub. FULLY STOCKED: The loaded kitchen on the top floor features a farmhouse table and bench that seats 8, with 2 more barstools at the island. Open the sliding doors to walk out to the top level sun deck with gas grill, outdoor table and a view of the Ocean. No need to bring your own linens, the beds are made with freshly laundered sheets before your arrival. CONVENIENT LOCATION: On one side of our street is the beach access with Avalon Pier across from Awful Authur’s seafood restaurant. On the other side of our street is the sound with a neighborhood dock you can fish from. A bike trail goes to the Food Lion / Duck Donuts shopping center on 3rd Street without leaving the neighborhood. Go out at the light on 5th to the new Target or Jolly Rogers Restaurant with another beach access with parking. More public free access beach lots are located on 2nd, and 1st streets. GREAT TOWN: Kill Devil Hills is in the heart of the Outer Banks, so go right to get to the fishing marina at Oregon Inlet, or left to see the wild horses in Corolla, with lighthouses in both directions. Putt putt, movies, fishing, shopping, dining and live music are mere minutes away, with Ubers only minutes away year round. If you like being near the action but with space to spread out when you get back to the house, Sea La Vie will be a great option for you! NO PETS: Due to allergies, we do not allow pets. SECURITY CAMERAS: There are two outward facing cameras covering each exterior door to the house and driveway. DISCOUNTS: We do give a discount to anyone who books a full week in the off season (Oct-March), or to those serving in the military (our son is in the Air Force), and to our much appreciated repeat guests! PAYMENT TERMS: To reserve the house, 25% is due at booking, with the balance due 30 days before check in. There is a 2 night minimum and VRBO’s $59 insurance is required per stay. BEACH DRIVING: 4 wheel drive vehicles with aired down tires are permitted to drive on the beach as follows... 1) In the off season right by our house in Kill Devil Hills with a permit https://www.kdhnc.com/997/Beach 2) Year round on Hatteras beaches (great fishing) with a permit https://www.nps.gov/caha/planyourvisit/permitsandreservations.htm#ORV 3) Year round in Corolla (where the wild ponies are) with a permit https://www.visitcurrituck.com/visitor-info/beach-driving-tips (Make sure you read all the regulations first). Lovely home. Very clean and very well stocked. Close to beach and sound. My only complaint was that the house was too close to the causeway- very noisy to sit outside and the street itself was highly trafficked. So many cars/ trucks!! Otherwise lovely. Thank you!

Our family loved the W Avalon home & were impressed w/how our host had thought of everything we might need. Though we endured the tropical storm, which kept us indoors there plenty of activities & space to keep our family of 7 entertained. My diabled husband & I being older found we couldn't make the walk to the beach due to the locations' proximity to Croaton Hwy. The description of "a 3 min walk to beach" was a stretch; even for the family w/small children & a stroller. But, the location was ideal for shopping & restaurants & beach days. Overall we were very pleased w/our stay & can't say enough of Alisons' responsiveness to the few hiccups we faced. She was very quick to get back to me, w/solutions each time. We'd stay at Sea Le Vie again!

We had plenty of room to spread out or be together. Only drawback was the location. Due to how busy 158 is, we couldn't walk to the beach, but it was never an issue finding parking at the public access areas

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Sea La Vie. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the house, including every kitchen item. We have a daughter with food allergies, so we always have to be careful when using dishes from a rented home, we did not feel worried at Sea La Vie. My biggest reason for giving a 5-star review is because of the wonderful communication of the homeowners. During our first night of stay the water heater went out. The very next day the homeowner drove down and replaced the water heater with a new one. They were so kind and even refunded 2 of our nights. We definitely would recommend this home to friends and family. It was everything we hoped it would be.

The house is comfortable, roomy and well stocked, from fuzzy blankets on the couch, beach chairs hung nicely outside, and an air fryer in the kitchen. It has a cute beachy vibe without being cluttered. I read a review saying the neighborhood was loud but we did not notice that at all. In fact, some of us stayed up late hanging in the tiki bar room without keeping whoever was in the house awake. We loved being able to walk over to the beach by Avalon pier during the day, because they have bathrooms, sandwiches, cold drinks and even an arcade with Skee Ball!! They also mentioned they have live music at night!!!! I wouldn't recommend walking at night (a-little busy and dark) but ubers were very easy to come by. If you have small kids or too much stuff to walk during the day, there are lots of different beach accesses with parking and the entry to the drive-on beach is just a couple streets down. We loved watching the sky charge colors from the top balcony and also checking. the weather and wind before leaving the house. The house was perfect for our long weekend, we booked till Monday so we could leave at our leisure on Sunday. We went down after work on Friday, so it was kinda late when we got there, so we were very happy to see a roll of toilet paper in every bathroom to tie us over until we could run to food lion the next day. The Italian place and Duck Donuts were delicious!! AND they are getting a new Target super close so you won't need to worry if you forgot to pack something!! Really, we have nothing bad to say about staying at Sea La Vie!!!

The beds are comfy, the towels fluffy, the kitchen is stocked and clean, and they even have beach towels and chairs. It was easy to walk across to the beach when the light was red, and we could see if the ocean was choppy from the deck. You get the whole three story house and yard for the price of a tiny hotel room, and it had everything we needed for a great trip. Highly recommend. We're booking our summer vacation at Sea LA Vie!

We had a wonderful time and the house was great! Only thing we were concerned with was the upper bathroom towel racks were not very secure and the refrigerator door had been left open before our arrival so it took a while for it to cook back down . Over all it was GREAT!!!! Would recommend it highly

My group had a fantastic time at Sea La Vie! The house is beautifully furnished and the kitchen has everything you need. I love the tiki area for hanging out after the beach. The outdoor fire pit area was relaxing! I love that the house came with beach chairs to use instead of bringing my own. I highly recommend this home for an OBX getaway!

House was great and comfortable. Love it had EVERYTHING we needed. Wanted for nothing. Cable was a little wacky because we don't ROKU but the owner got that fixed for us right away. Location is convenient. Due to the highway you do need to drive to the ocean side for safety. Avalon Pier requires $ to park. We had fun!

This property was amazing! It is very conveniently located being a 3 minute walk from the beach/pier and 3 minutes from the sound. We had a VERY long drive, so we really appreciated not having to worry about packing beach towels, sheets, blankets, and beach chairs. The tiki bar and fire pit in the back yard is a great addition to the house and it was really nice to be able to sit around the fire with family and friends to relax, chat, and tell jokes/stories. Also, I loved the 2 porches the house has. Just grab a fresh cup of coffee, sit outside on the rocking chairs, and relax! I would definitely return to this rental property. I don’t have any negative points on any aspect of this place.

We saw many beautiful sunrises and sunsets and there was a neighborhood dock that we caught fish from everyday. The pier right by the house has any fishing gear you could need, a two story bar with an excellent view of the ocean, live music, and finger food. It was a great hangout spot or somewhere to grab a quick drink/bite to eat while we were at the beach all day. Not to mention our favorite restaurant, Awful Arthur’s, right across the street. The backyard and tiki bar were great for having fires and kicking it in the evening. When we wanted to take the party inside there were plenty of cards and board games to entertain us. All the TVs had a Roku that we could easily stream Netflix or Prime Video to from our phones. The house was very spacious and clean. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone. Overall it was a great place to stay right in the middle of OBX with great access to everything!

We were a multigenerational family ranging in age from grandparents to grandchildren. There was a comfortable place for everyone to enjoy. After a day at the beach or fishing, some did their college coursework while others worked on a jigsaw puzzle and others watched a movie. It was an easy walk across the road to the beach. The Avalon pier is adjoining the beach and has fishing, food, and games. There are many food, shopping, and activities nearby. The house has two decks and a yard. It’s well equipped and very comfortable. We would highly recommend.

The house: big! clean, comfy, has everything you can think of. Loved the tiki bar room attached to the fenced in back yard so lots of privacy and fun for everyone. The location: close to the road but it was fine. Made it convenient to everything. We spent the days at the beach then went home to shower, then walked to the sound to watch the sunset, then back to play games in the tiki bar/yard. I hadn’t stayed on the sound side in ages and had forgotten about walking and biking all through there. Great place!
