No. 316 at D Sands Condominiums is a privately owned condo we call "What a Boat Bob?”. Located in a south building that was added onto the property after the construction of the original, this one bedroom, one bathroom suite is located 30 steps up on the third floor and guests can take in those ocean views from the condo's large wall of windows or out on the private balcony. Bring the whole family because What a Boat Bob? can sleep up to a party or family of 6. Enjoy the privacy of the King bed in the bedroom, or opt for the Queen bed in the living room to fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean. A sleeper sofa in the living room sleeps 2 more, and is across from the TV and a gas fireplace so that you can enjoy a cozy stay on even the rainiest of Oregon Coast's days. The suite's bathroom features both a shower and a bathtub. What a Boat Bob? also comes equipped with a fully stocked kitchenette, complete with full-sized refrigerator, stovetop, oven, drip coffee maker, and microwave, and a small dining table to allow you to enjoy an oceanfront dining experience from the comfort of your condo. The Unit of Association Owners, our HOA, provides Wi-fi and cable TV throughout the complex, an indoor heated pool, and a hot tub. D Sands Condominiums also features its own easy and private beach access so that guests can take full advantage of our oceanfront location and play in the sand and surf. Centrally located in the middle of Lincoln City, D Sands Condominiums is an easy walk to Kyllo's, Lincoln City's favorite restaurant on the beach, a wine bar, Chinese food and so much more. A quick car ride can take you to the Chinook Winds Casino or the Lincoln City Outlets, not to mention all the other fun dining, shopping, and activity destinations in town. If you walk 15-20 minutes on the beach to the north, you will find natural tidepools with all kinds of sea life. Or stay a little closer to home, and take in one of the most famous rivers in the world, the D River, the shortest river on the planet. The D River State Recreation Area is adjacent to the property, and provides even easier access to the beach in the form of a gradual slope. We're also conveniently close to a variety of other recreation areas and hiking trails for the avid nature lover. We had a very nice time staying here. It was a very cold and icy weekend at the coast. We made good use of the gas fireplace. We woke up to sunshine in the morning. Still cold outside but beautiful view and warm inside. Very nice place and great location in Lincoln City. The maintenance staff were very diligent spreading de-icer on the steps and stairs and walkways. Great place.

My family and I stayed at the condo over thanksgiving weekend and it was perfect. First off the condo is beautiful and well kept. Very and clean and neat! While the king bed was huge, I’d say the bed in the living room was the comfiest! Also, the kitchen had everything we needed.
Love that there were games and puzzles in the hall way closet.
Another benefit of the location of this condo is that there is easy beach access, you are near by many stores and restaurants, and bonus it’s near by the Lincoln city outlet mall!
Overall, my family and I had such a great experience! I would highly recommend and I would most likely come again in the future. I plan to book again(:

Overall happy with out stay. We stayed on the 3rd floor. The beach view and access were fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a 2-nights stay and could have stayed longer. It's an older building but that didn't detract from our experience. The room itself felt new enough to us. At night we opened the window and fell asleep to the sound of the waves.

Condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a nice stay. Steps to the beach which was great for the kids. Indoor pool is a nice alternative, but you must pick your times to go as it is very small and can get crowded if more than 8 people there. Beach is great - one negative to it is garbage and cigarette butts as you enter the sand doesn’t seem to be cleaned by the city (not the properties responsibility).
Parking wa steady and convenient for loading and unloading the car. We were on third floor which was no issue without elevator but for those who can’t climb steps would be a must to stay on ground level.
Great communication by owners. Property is just a bit too far for walking to spots so had to drive all the time but not an issue. Overall a good vacation.

Let me begin that the unit, itself was very clean! We loved the room. It's the outside of the building that was a big shabby, only because it is an old property. Some old furniture and appliances were sitting out by the covered parking which gave it a shabby appearance but that's a quick fix. A little paint here wouldn't hurt. Parking was a challenge as we drove a big vehicle but we managed. Overall, our unit was very cute and spacious and did I mention the view? Also was very quiet which was great for a good night sleep.We will definitely be back!! It was a great value for the price we paid. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful unit!!

Really good views from the bed, the sofa and the kitchen!!!
Comfortable bed and sofa chair. We liked to fall asleep by the wave sounds and open our eyes in the morning and see the beach, so we never slept in the main bedroom, we sat on that mattress though and it felt comfortable too.
The fireplace was really nice and made a wonderful cosy ambience.
The smart TV is big and it had all the channels and apps we needed. My husband was able to watch some football ;)
The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed.
It's on the second floor but very easy access and honestly, we appreciated the privacy.
We were never able to use the swimming pool because they had s problem the day we arrive and was closed for the next 36 hrs while they fixed it. And then when it was opened it was just too busy with other guests, so we chose to go for a nice walk at the beach instead.
Very nice and helpful staff too!
Overall a very good experience and we would go back for sure!!!

We loved the location of this condo! It was right on the beach in the middle of Lincoln City with easy access to everything. We thought the king size bed was not comfortable, but for those who love a firm mattress, this is your bed. Thankfully the queen in the main room suited us better and we got great sleep! So great for the Goldilocks in your family :) We will be staying here again!

Coffee pot doesn't work right. Maybe it's not the correct carafe for it. Not tall enuf to allow coffee to drip into the carafe. We enjoyed our stormy stay. It's not a big deal, but the bathroom could use a new paint job. Thanks for asking!

I chose this unit based on reviews from other VRBO customers’ report the unit was very clean and the photos showing the ocean just outside the balcony. Upon arrival, the exterior is unassuming but inside was appropriately decorated and very well-lit for me to do some art. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare simple meals for a week and a half. The bed in the living room had warm bedding and was the preferred spot to fall asleep to the sound of waves and wake up to that amazing view that took my breath away every morning. I ended up not even using the master bedroom except to store my belongings. The fireplace was a welcome source of warmth after being in rain showers though I was lucky at the end of October to have many days with periods of no rain. This weather enabled pleasant long walks on the beach. The condos are located a short walk or drive from everything I needed and wanted. I like hot tubs but didn’t use it because it is in an undesirable location. If the hot tub had a view of the ocean and better hours that would have been perfection. I would stay here again for an extended vacation.

We enjoyed our stay at DSands. The location is near everything we needed. The condo was clean and comfortable. Great ocean view from the floor to ceiling living room windows and balcony. Liked to use the gas fireplace to take care of the morning and evening chill. Only small complaint is the quality of the hide a bed mattress though the couch was quite comfortable. Would definitely book this condo again in the future.

This place was clean. The carpet looks newer and otherwise great shape. The apartment supply list was short on plates and bowls. Kind of feel like if there are 6 allowed on the property there should be that many place settings. Pool was of course closed and had been for over a week when on the door it said a couple days. Other than that we loved our stay and enjoyed the amenities of town and beach access.
