No. 106, which we call “Six on the Beach” at D Sands Condominiums, is a privately owned studio condo that offers a more inclusive experience for those with mobility issues. It's one of only three handicap accessible units here at D Sands, but you'll still have your own ocean view through a wall of windows and a ground-level patio to enjoy the ocean breeze. This studio condo can comfortably sleep up to 4 people on a queen bed and sleeper sofa. Designed with thought towards those with mobility issues, Six on the Beach has a ramp up to both the front door and back patio door, extra supports around the toilet, a wheel chair friendly sink, and a walk-in shower with a flexible shower head and shower seat. Our location near D State Recreation Area also allows guests to access the beach via a stair-free gradual slope. Six on the Beach also comes equipped with a fully stocked kitchenette, complete with full-sized refrigerator, stovetop, oven, drip coffee maker, and microwave, and a small dining table to allow you to enjoy an oceanfront dining experience from the comfort of your condo. Centrally located in the middle of Lincoln City, D Sands Condominiums is an easy walk or drive to Kyllo's, Lincoln City's favorite restaurant on the beach, a wine bar, Chinese food and so much more. A quick car ride can take you to the Chinook Winds Casino or the Lincoln City Outlets, not to mention all the other fun dining, shopping, and activity destinations in town. If you walk 15-20 minutes on the beach to the north, you will find natural tidepools with all kinds of sea life. Or stay a little closer to home, and take in one of the most famous rivers in the world, the D River, the shortest river on the planet.
