My partner and I booked patty’s cabin on a whim- looking for a spot where we could sit and read by a wood stove or venture out with our dog to take in some of the beautiful scenery maine has to offer. If thats the kind of thing you’re looking for this place absolutely nails it!

Our stay was not without hiccups, and a 5 star visit, nonetheless. We arrived for the Fall color changes and temperatures were down in and below 50s, but the heat was not working. That could spoil a visit… it didn’t, because the hosts are great and responsive. That is the difference between a hood and a great host: problems can always arise, it’s how they are handled; and our hosts did everything to assure we had a good visit. The place itself is lovely for 2 to 5 people, well appointed, well renovated, and situated in shady wooded area, within easy drive of a great beach and Bath. Highly recommend!

This was our first time in Maine it was my husband and son. The cabin is beautiful and all the amenities are all set and ready for you so you really just have to unpack and start to enjoy. There’s a walk to the beach which was beautiful and there are so many things either locally or within an hour to do day trips or just stay local you’ll have a great time. Patricia the host was extremely kind and helpful. We highly recommend staying here!

It was a quaint little cottage getaway just minutes from the beach. Beautiful area. Owners went above and beyond.

Close to Beach, Restaurants, lovely drives with views of water. Special ! Wi-Fi and Apple TV for streaming for good night viewing. Covered deck for additional seating and eating and watching hummingbirds.

Had everything we needed and then some. Great place! Thanks for having us!

What an excellent getaway. The hosts were communicative and helpful. The cabin was spotless and soooo quiet. This is in a really rural area but the nearby town of Bath is incredibly friendly and not too touristy. The cabin has plenty of room and is really comfortable. We slept like babies. We were there during a heatwave and the portable AC unit kept the cabin cool even despite the unseasonable temps. Strongly recommend!

I needed a place to stay between my arrival in Maine (after driving cross country) and taking possession of my new house. Patty’s cabin was the perfect place to stay and Patty couldn’t have been more gracious or accommodating. The cabin was so comfortable, well-located, and suited all my needs. I highly, highly recommend this lovely spot for a relaxing, comfortable getaway.

The property is surrounded by trees and bush- can't get ocean breeze. Problem is too much bugs, forget about getting out or even opening the door after dark. NO TV service/ access to local news. Apple TV available but no subscription to anything. Asked for local TV service with owner- no help. Not worth it.

The cabin has beautiful natural wood throughout and we enjoyed morning coffee on the deck watching the hummingbirds. The cabin is a quick trip just down the road from beautiful Popham beach. This is a must visit for all who come to this area. We were able to take trips to explore the local coastline including Boothbay Harbor, 5 Islands, and Camden visiting many lighthouses along the way.
