Good location. Near a lot of links and shopping.

Not at all suitable for a family of 6. Sleeps 5 in beds and 6th person in sofa bed. Due to the sofa bed being out - there was only seating for 2 on the other sofa and absolutely no chairs. There were no fundamental items you’d expect in a holiday rental - not even enough plates or bowls for 6 people! No bins in each bedroom and no sanitary bin in the bathroom. No condiments, kitchen towels, tissues, basic kitchen equipment like chopping board or grater or wooden spoon for cooking. Extremely under equipped making our stay very uncomfortable. No hangers in any of the wardrobes! I had to ask the owner for hangers as we were attending a wedding and needed our clothes ironed and hung up. Unfortunately the wardrobes were such that we couldn’t even hang up our clothes so had to use the door frames. Many items were broken or damaged which included the following; A headboard of one of the beds. The bathroom tap was broken so that every time you put it on it sprayed water on you. The bath panel was broken. The shower panel came off when one of my kids was taking a shower! Lastly, probably one of the worst things to add to that list was 2 of the heaters in 2 of the bedrooms were on even though the heating was switched off - extra heat in July making the nights even more unpleasant. Yes there were fans in the room and the owner did respond when contacted. However, there was nothing he could do while we were staying there and something which should have been fixed before anyone rented this place. So unfortunately overall, not a pleasant stay at all and definitely not worth the 1.4k we paid. I am currently in the process of seeking a refund. The owner is refusing to refund me so I have lowered the rating to 1 - I managed to retrieve a paltry £131 out of the £1.4k as offered by him as a 'good will gesture' which is an insult and really shows the motivations of people like this.
