Our stay at the Somerset Double Tree was disappointing. First, the air conditioning was very loud. No one slept well. Second, our toilet clogged in the middle of the night, and despite the fact that I went to the front desk at 2:30, and waited for the engineer in the hall for a while, no one came to help us. Our children had to go to the lobby bathroom in the morning - far below the standard we were expecting from the listing. We finally got it unclogged at about 8 AM. Very disappointed. We use hotels.com often, but this stay will give us pause the next time we look to find a hotel.

I have chosen Doubletree by Hilton for the past couple of years because their beds / pillows are incredibly comfortable. We arrived in the late in the evening after traveling, and were looking forward to a good nights sleep. Unfortunately, during this stay when the room heater/air conditioner turned on, it was literally a roar like an airplane, so loud that you could not sleep through it. The wall panel had no instructions as to how to stop it. So every hour or two, we were awoken by the noise, and had a terrible night's sleep. We ate in the bar after arriving, so did not know this was going to happen until we went to bed around midnight and fell asleep. Obviously, at this time of night, we were not going to ask to change rooms, or wait for the front desk to wake a repair man to come and fix it. Very upsetting.

It was very nice room, check in was great free cookies for me and the kids, great area and feel. The room was nice however it needs a mircowave. First time in a hotel without one and i could have used it. The hottube was out of order. They had a restaurant inside, over priced, and no free breakfast. It was 12 bucks a person to eat. And the bar prices were way to high.

I had an amazing time! My heater broke and they didn’t hesitate to accommodate me.
Also if you’re wondering about the breakfast, OMG! The food was actually soooooo good i took some to go lol. Loved my visit and look forward to coming back.

Someone pulled the fire alarm the evening of our stay- hotel staff made no effort to communicate with us so we’re outside for an hour with no updates.
In the room, the toilet ran off and on throughout the night.

The bed sheet had red stains as it wasnt changed before i got there. I notified the front desk about it and they didnt even care.

I don’t like the fact that .you have to leave and additional 100 fee on top of the cost for the room ..and you have weight 7 to to business days too get your money back ..will never visit again..

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we felt welcomed. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice, and provided us with all the information we needed to know in regard to our stay at the hotel. He even gave us 4 chocolate chip cookies which my two daughters loved! The restaurant staff were amazing, and super sweet. My overall experience at the hotel was great. I see myself and my family booking here again in the near future.

DoubleTree used to be really good. Like many other chains its standard is also going down but this is my worst experience. The Hotel lobby is nice, check-in was easy. About the room, the sheets and comforter were dirty, look like they are not even washed. The shower faucet is not easy to use and like many other motels, slow drain in tub that makes it difficult to take shower. There was an indoor pool but water temperature was not maintained.

I chose this hotel because it had a hot tub.
Apon checking in i learned the hot tub was under construction. Very disappointed.

The young lady in the front was amazing. Our home was in danger of flooding in manville and we stayed overnight for safety but she made us feel so welcome after a stressful day . She is definitely a plus to your hotel should be training for management real soon . Amazing person

Elevators didn’t always work without holding your floor button in till it started moving, shower has more water coming out spicket than top, a/c wouldn’t run continuously and woke me up all night

Overall Property is ok. Needs some Renovations on the actual room floors. The rooms could use new box spring/foundation mattress . Carpets are worn with stains. Bathroom sink lacked a drain stopper in sink along with shower walls had mildew on the grout.
Linens were clean along with towels and sheets. Lamps were not all functional. The cookie was nice @ a nut free option was great. Lobby looks renovated but the room floors look outdated. Only spent 1 night in room 408 for a wedding @ the Palace. This hotel was recommended by Kleinfeld but no shuttle would have me NOT stay again including room conditions. Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately NO bellman. I booked through Hotel.com because the block of rooms were sold out. But for the price I believe it reflects Price.

They forget to clean the room, we had a surprise at 11pm arriving to rest. They did gave us another room pretty fast.
There was flies at the window, same in both room we occupied during a 2 days stay.

Building is very old elevator making loud noises and carpet in the hallway was dirty
Was taking the shower the water cut off I called to the reception. I’ve been told the line got FREEZ they working on it I don’t know how got FREEZ. The outside weather was 55°.

All the ice machines on every floor was out of order after i went to every floor had to go to the frount desk for ice would of been nice.to know ahead of time, so i did not.spend a hour looking for ice. The hot tub was not open and this is one of the reasons i booked the hotel

The staff where awesome. Bar food and staff great. Rooms very dated and dark. There was squashed flies still on curtains. Refreshment machines not working, cash machine out of service and didn’t take Apple Pay
I’d be back again for food staff and cookies but so needs updating.
