Big bedrooms with a nice view on the city. Really quiet.

Everything was good during my 7D6N stay. This trip to Seoul was to celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary. I did make some remarks in my booking, saying I hoped to give my husband a surprise. Check-in was hassle-free using the mobile app. Upon checking into our room about 30 minutes later, hotel staff came up with a bottle of red wine and wished us a happy anniversary. I was shocked and never expected they would really take note of the remarks. Overall, I highly recommend the Sejong Hotel. The location is also good, and I will definitely book my stay with them the next round in Seoul. Once again, thank you, Sejong Team!

Hotel is evidently understaffed. Housekeeper has too many rooms to clean so that she often misses areas due to being short on time. We found a centipede in our bathroom.

I truly enjoyed my stay, staff was very kind, friendly, and helpful. Everything was walking distance shopping stores and street foods right behind the hotel. I will definitely book another stay at this Hotel

It was quite decent. I thought mountain view meant we get namsan view but I realise all around are mountains so it is debatable. Our towels were not always enough. Sometimes 3, sometimes 4 when we have 4 occupants. And the tea, I finished but it doesn't get refilled until last day. So sad. Not necessary to keep putting 4 bottles of water everyday when we still had unopened bottles.

Really old hotel but excellent location right above the train station and shopping area. Decent size family room but the bathroom was small.

Like the good and prompt service at check in counter. Rooms were big compared to another hotel next to it which we stayed previously. The rooms were clean and toilet amenities (tooth brush, cotton pad, shower cap) and room slippers were provided. The big plus point was we were allowed to keep 6 luggages in storage for 3 nites when we went to Jeonju.

We had a very good experience staying in this hotel. The rooms were very clean. They do however need an upgrade.
The location is very close to shopping, dining and the train station. I appreciated that they held our luggage until it was time for our departure.

The only positive about this hotel was the convenient location. Right outside of Myeongdong station. Other than that our room was not very clean, there were dead flies all over the walls and ceilings. The shower head would leak everywhere & water leaking from ceiling when showering.

Sejong's Hotel location is very convenient to many outlets. Myeongdong station exit 10 is the closest to the hotel but exit 7 has escalators as walking up and down stairs all the time can get a bit tiresome.
7Eleven along with bakeries are close by and Myeongdong Shopping District is also minutes walk.
The hotel itself is good. Hotel lobby staff speak pretty good english. Hotel restaurant is on the same floor as the lobby.
Laundry can be done on the 4th floor, very easy to use.
We stayed in the Quadruple Room on the 8th floor. Plenty of room to easily host a family of 4, more importantly plenty of room to open luggage's without bumping into anything. Beds are comfortable, showers are ok but the internet wifi connection isn't the best. I couldn't even connect to my laptop and phone.
Overall I had a good stay here in this hotel.

1st room smelled like chemicals and the toilet was cracked also mold everywhere, moved us to another room that didn’t have the smell but black mold was worse causing allergy reactions while we were there. Management was aware but did nothing.this place is a real health hazard

I find the staff are not welcoming to non Koreans and can be abrupt. The cleanliness is good and the staff cleaning the rooms are very kind and welcoming to us.

Located at the foot of Namsan, walking distance to many attractions and markets. Cafeteria style lunch room on second floor with tables and microwave oven, vending machines stocked with snacks.

For the price, it was the top choice for the area where everything was within walking distance such as transportation and night market, shopping, etc. This hotel used to be a 5 star hotel but not sure what happened but its still clean inside and worth the price. I would go there again if I want to be in the area.

Meets its 4-star rating. A very convenient location at Myeongdong; the airport bus 2 minute walk and access to all the shopping, street food and restaurants. It is at the Myeongdong station.

Were quite disappointed on the first night stayed in this hotel, as there is a cockroach in the room. Immediately I asked to change the room. And yet hotel did change a new room straight away. But hotel and room there is a funny smell like a old antique kind of smell. After all everything is ok and is near the station.

Hotel staff very helpful and accommodating. Hotel need to be updated though. Our Bathroom very smelly, needs to be sanitized because it smells like pee. Floor Rugs need to be removed because it’s very dirty. Just leave floor aisle with no rugs. Please take this as constructive opinion not criticism . Hotel has very nice, friendly staff with big lobby. Hotel is convenient very close to food/ shopping area.

The Sejong is a solid, comfortable place to stay. We especially appreciated the double room with four twin beds, since there were four adult family members. It's an excellent location just steps from the #4 subway line and the airport luxury bus stop. It's showing its age just a bit, but all the amenities are there and it's a very clean, well-run property. Recommended.

The hotel is too old and the toilet cover had stains, the bathroom door's edge is ripped and dirty. Not like to book it again. NEVER!
