The room we reserved was labeled "Garden Room." When we arrived, we were given a room in a 3-story building adjacent to the Tower you see in photos. Our walk to our room the hallways were dirty, there was a microwave oven just sitting on a table in the hallway, with paint peeling everywhere, musty floors, etc. Walking to the room it felt like we were on the way to the dungeon. The elevators were scratched up, dirty. We were placed on the ground floor next to the laundry room. The onsen area was not clean and was located on the bottom floor. I requested a new room, and we were moved to the tower. The 3-story building isn't shown in the photos and is located behind the tower, which is misleading. They did photoshop photos to make it seem like the rooms were bright and airy. The Tower rooms were newer but equal to a 2-star stay. Everything was outdated, and the air did not work properly. The Bathroom was made entirely of plastic that had been dropped into the unit. The hotel grounds had litter and plastic shopping bags filled with trash left by guests. We were shocked since this goes against Japan's conscious culture. The food in the buffet was horrible- Chinese food that looked and smelled like it had been sitting there for days and smelled very fishy. Thank goodness for the Japan convenience store. This is a stark contrast with what we had experienced in other areas of Japan. It is very disappointing, and I don't recommend that anyone stay here.

The part of the building we stayed may be slightly old so that there are some signs of that. We did not mind that at all as the price was accordingly good value for money. Only, in comparison to several hotels we stayed recently the quality of breakfast was not as good as others. Otherwise it is a good choice considering the price.

We have stayed before and will likely stay again . This time our room was a bit tired. Breakfast was pretty good and the onsen is teriffic with 700 yen charge - why not just fold it into the room rate? Efficient shuttle to/from airport but less frequent than I remember .

Suite room was beautiful. So spacious and comfortable. Beds were plush. Breakfast buffet had a great selection. It’s not a bad way to spend a night before a long haul flight out of NRT.

Shuttle service was convenient, staffs were nice, hot springs was clean and relaxing, not crowded, breakfast buffet had variety and delish. The room was a little old style but worth if you stay a short time, such as between flight.

Stayed here before a morning flight out of Narita. Place was spacious and clean. However, the only way in and out is by car or shuttle bus. Seems like unable to walk anywhere.

The hotel needs urgently a revamp. It is very old but also damaged. The carpets doors baths need to be changed. For the price I paid I rather stay in any other around Narita

Art hotel was absolutely delightful, customer service from beginning to end was amazing. It is a little difficult to get to from the train station, I highly recommend a taxi ride there. The rooms were sound proof and you couldn't hear the planes when inside. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The garden outside was all lit up with lights and was beautiful. They also have access to a natural onsen on the grounds for a small additional fee. The breakfast buffet was amazing, they were able to offer support for specialised diets with notice. The free shuttle bus to Narita airport was excellent and well organised, it took less than half an hour to get there. I highly recommend stopping at art hotel between flights to or from Narita airport.

We had a very pleasant stay in a hotel which we realise had been renovated since our last stay some 5 years earlier. However, because of our early international arrival, we weren’t offered an early check-in. We later found we could have been offered a room for JPY 2500 for an early check-in, and we would have been appreciative of being offered that. That would be our only suggestion- otherwise we would recommend the hotel to our friends and family.

Not close to the trains or bus stops. Needs updating, the walls were beat up. The restaurants were fantastic!!! The onsen was great also.

Nice property and staff but the hotel is in a very inconvenient area. There are no food options close by and the nearest bus stop is a half mile walk away. The hotel does has a shuttle that will take you to the train station, which is convenient

I had a good deal on the price of the room so I can’t really complain. I had opted for a spacious single so the hotel moved a single bed out of the room (I could the configuration of the headboard was meant for 2 beds) so there definitely was more space. Some of the walls had chipped edges and peeling wallpaper. The main reason I chose this hotel amongst the other airport hotels was that it had an onsen. One has to pay extra to access it. The waters didn’t have a high mineral content as my skin didn’t feel smooth after my soak. Overall, a good airport hotel for the price.

Has a shuttle to take you to the local attractions and Aeon shopping centre. Pretty good onset as well. Just perfect family hotel near the airport. Room is a little outdated though.

Positive: the hotel offer free shuttle service to the airport, mall, and Narita station. And the public spa daily rate is very reasonable. Staff are very friendly and approachable Negative: we stayed at the garden wing of the hotel. The condition of the room, bathroom, elevator are very old fashioned. I suggest the hotel to do renovations to attract returning customers.

Love the ambience sitting in rural outskirts of Tokyo. Advisable to stay if you're reliant on airport transfer and renting a car - not sure about public transportation but cabs are available outside at any time.

This hotel is close to the airport and easy to find the shuttle bus area. We only stayed for one night but I booked it for two nights since my flight was for later in the evening. Reasonable rates for two rooms! Older hotel and it was clean!
