The biggest takeaway that was most worthy of mentioning was not a thing, but a person. The staff at the reception desk was amazing! Ms Tommi was a sheer delight. Her knowledge and friendly demeanor showed she truly enjoyed people and her job. We just happened to arrive when the building was secured by the Fire Department, due to a suspected fire alarm. Although we were unable to get to our rooms right away. It became pleasurable to watch Ms Tommi handle some “not so understanding” guests. She maintained her poised demeanor and kept a smile in her delivery. I was so intrigued that I directed my sister to watch on also. After all was said and done, we commended her on how she multi-tasked her way through, answering questions, the phone and directing guests to surrounding places to buffer their wait time, while still checking folks in. In summation, the location, cleanliness, comfort, friendly staff and amenities, like the awesome breakfast every morning, was over the top!! Springhill, was a great place to stay and was situated near some good restaurants and popular sites. Customer service provided by Ms Tommi was the best, I have seen in such a long while!! Thank you Ms Tommi for showing the guests, that customer service reigns!!

Room was not clean(couch had stains all over it). Bathroom toilet runs constantly day and night.

day 1 of a 6 day stay and we asked to cancel the last day. They said to work with Hotels.com as we expected. However, when hotels.com called they refused to cooperate. Parking is very expensive $35 PER NIGHT. Elevators are rickity and rattle. No outdoor space.

I t was a challenge to find entrance to parking garage. Also a challenge to find breakfast on the residence inn side. Both times staff were there to help.

Because it's a downtown hotel there is a $30 parking charge. If you're just passing through, you may want to stay somewhere else to avoid the charge.

Nice hotel. Convenient to where I needed to go. Room is more functional than most hotel rooms for business travelers. But spotless and comfortable. Highly recommend. Do not believe a word the desk clerks say. After two pieces of wrong advice, I just did the opposite and came out way ahead.

This is a great place to stay just a couple minutes from Bridgestone Arena and the honky-tonk bars of Broadway Ave. And it's within a block of a great burger place, a Hattie B's location, and a cool donut place. The room was clean and spacious -- pristine, really, other than wallpaper starting to curl a little on the edges in the lavatory. The lobby was well kept and inviting. Exercise room had mostly aerobic machines, and some dumbbells with one bench. They keep the exercise room WARM, so one guest had propped open the locked door. I spoke with several of the staff during my stay, and all of them were friendly, respectful, and helpful.

The boiler went out at the hotel and they had no water for most of the day we were in the hotel. It was very inconvenient since we had to shower to get ready for a family dinner. Our only option was to jump into the pool to rinse off. It was a bad experience, no toilets, no sink, no shower and the temperature was in the high 90's. The folks behind the desk were very apologetic, but management wasn't even there. To make matters worse, there was no compensation or even consideration for guest who were inconvenienced. Very disappointing.

The property is very well maintained. The staff is very friendly and the morning breakfast is adequate. The location of the property is outstanding if you want to do things in the downtown area without paying an arm and a leg. We were bummed out about their pool being an indoor pool, but that's just a personal preference. The rate for parking is pretty high, though, so keep that in mind. The rooms were cleaned everyday which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience.

This was a good stay for my family and I. Checkin was smooth - even though we were early. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and nicely furnished. Also fairly close to where the open street party is held and eating and shopping centers.

It was about a mile walk to most areas of interest. Parking garage is part of hotel and was easy to find. A little difficult to navigate with a truck so I recommend parking on the top level. Rooms were smaller than expected but overall nice enough. There was a fast food restaurant just across the street and a convenience store a block away. Staff was helpful.

We found a homeless man sleeping beside the Ice machine on the 9th floor early Sunday. If that would have happened Saturday morning we would have found another hotel to stay at for Saturday . Other than that incident everything was great , We stayed at the same hotel last year and had a great time thats why decided to stay there again
