No thrills. Older hotel could use some updating. In season the view from the pool would be amazing. Will stay again. Staff was great.

Hotel staff was very friendly and check in was a quick process, took my card for incidentals but no extra charge hold. Room was nothing like the picture but had a great view of the lake. There was an area where it was open to the jacuzzi tub like in the pictures that was boarded up and then painted over, no shower curtain and the tub jets looked rusted and was very small so did not even use, took a shower instead.elsewhere pet friendly met lots of dogs on our visit. Would say it was an okay visit especially for the price we paid!

Dining options weren’t accessible or easy to access. It was a lake resort area which was a beautiful. It did serve our purpose and the staff was very pleasant.

The hotel was adequate, it is lakeside but there is not easy access to the lake, just a good view. Don't pay the extra expecting to have walk out access to the water.

The room was clean and comfortable. The location is great. Right on Lake Erie and close to ferry service and restaurants. The morning breakfast was below average. The sausage was without flavor and a strange texture. Slightly rubbery. The mini muffins were of poor quality. I would skip the breakfast in future stays.

At this time our concert was cancelled due to storms and tornadoes and this hotel was nice enough to credit us for when they reschedule or when I make plans to come out that way. I thank them for that.

No elevators. Walked into the room and smelled like smoke horribly. The pool was dirty. The ice machine next to the pool was broken. Our window leaked in rain and we had to put a towel in front of it. The hottub seemed a bit dirty. All the grout in the tub seemed gross. When we told the gentleman at checkout, he said sorry about that. Made no attempt to make the situation right. We paid $250 for this room and now that ive seen it, i wouldnt even pay $0.25.

Nice pool area, quiet hotel with a nice breakfast. The bathroom door would not open, so they had to remove it off its hinges. The mattress had plastic under the sheet which was very uncomfortable !!!

Most dirtiest place I have ever stayed at outside the facility bugs everywhere- tons of trash everywhere- inside tons of spiders in the room as well as in hallways windows not cleaned- bath tub water would not go down the drain- ice machine was broke- coffee machine was broke no decaf. When you tried to find someone all they could say is they would clean room again or we could hire a cleaning company why would we as the paying customer hire a cleaning company- made no sense- ask to get our money back for the 2nd night so we could go somewhere else- they refused to give a discount or money back for 2nd night. The whole facility is a very dirty terrible terrible place- smells mildowee/moldy. However hotel does have a beautiful view since it is lake front but if you don’t care about cleanliness then stay if you stay elsewhere.

The property was clean as was the room. Pool was great and the view of Lake Erie. The only problem we encountered was after check in at 3:00 Pm we noticed the TV had no signal, Went to front desk a couple of times and was told the manager was on his way. As of 9:30 PM still no TV. When we woke up in the morning it was working. Other than that nice place to stay and would go back again.

The pool area was very nice with a beautiful view of the lake. The room was in need of some serious updating. One of the lamps was broken and leaning against the wall. The bathroom had a sour smell as the shower curtain needed to be replaced. It just didn’t feel or smell clean.

From the start it was horrific. I had called ahead to be sure the room had a walk in shower. I even asked at front desk at check in. When I entered my room, it was a Jacuzzi tub (which was also filthy). My wife is disabled and cannot use a tub. When I went to front desk, the lady told me she could do nothing about it . She told me all the rooms were like that; which I asked a cleaning lady and she told me that isn't correct! It was so disappointing to both my wife and I spending $323 for a room that we were lied to about several times. When I asked to speak to the manager, they told me he wasn't there. When I asked for his name / number, all she told me was his name was Rick; she said she did not know his last name!!!! I called the next week to try to get resolution, they told me Rick was on vacation. The door to go to pool area had to be blocked open with a towel; the card reader wasn't functioning. I would not recommend going there to anyone. When I was leaving, there was another guy who had just checked out that came back inside and told the lady at the front desk he could not find his car keys and wanted access to his room he just left to see if he left them in there. The lady refused access to him!!! He could not believe it!!!

This place is sooo bad, save your money and choose a different place to stay trust me! There is a rancid smell in the rooms they try to cover up with glade plug in so much that it will turn your stomach. There are visible spider webs with eggs under the air conditioner in hallway and visible dirt on walls and carpet. The carpet itself feels slightly sticky as well. Keep your shoes on. Free breakfast sounds nice right, don’t get too happy about it, they only bring out little amounts at a time until you feel like an inconvenience and leave. However, it’s probably not in your best interest to eat there anyway. Horrible place needs torn down and rebuilt.

The staff was friendly, the room was clean. It was out of their control but we got there during mayfly season and they were all over the windows and building but they had staff sweeping them off. They did as good job as possible keeping that under control. Our stay was very pleasant.

Far surpassed my expectations. We booked the king suite with a water view and it had three windows with gorgeous views looking out to Lake Erie. The breakfast was satisfying with hot and cold options. The outdoor patio looking out to the water was beautiful and has a pool. You can sit and watch the ferry go to and from Put-In-Bay. This hotel is just 5 minutes from Main St Port Clinton, the ferries, beaches, and Dock's Boathouse. The hotel was quiet, bed was comfortable. The jetted tub could use an update, but the bathroom was clean overall.

We just spent one night on our way to Michigan. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel could use some major updates. Rooms didn’t feel very clean. Free breakfast had enough choices. Eggs and sausage were terrible. But for one night it was just ok.

The staff at the front desk was nice but the breakfast the first day was no eggs and limited breakfast is at 7-10 we got their at 9:30 time to make new eggs not happy with that especially when I paid over $500 for 2 nights then their was a 1000 legger in my room above the door.

Our night desk person who checked us in was excellent! This is our affordable place to stay after a long day on the island. Comfy pillows, comfy bed. Just right for what we needed.

As soon as we got there there was a room next to us with multiple little dogs barking. I booked this room solely for the spa tub and it was disgusting the drain was broken paint was peeling all over and there was hair all over the tub. We went to the front desk to complain about the dogs because they wouldn't stop barking and they told us they would only move us if we paid so they got another manager who just laughed about it like it was no big deal but finally moved us to another room no charge. The room was cleaner and quieter but we kept finding centipedes in the room and i wished we had just left and found somewhere else to stay never agiain will i book there on top of that all the pictures for the hotel are just basic from a nice one this one was so run down and out dated and the outisde doors didn't even latch.

The properry is nice enough for the price. It was clean and well presented. The one staff member we interacted with was very nice and even offered up some restaraunt opinions in the area. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. We slept like logs! Our only real co plaint was the supply chain driven shortage of the complete breakfast selection. I do not blame the staff or the hotel as this is common in the last few years at every hotel weve stayed at.
