We had a friend having surgery at a nearby hospital and the staff was so accommodating and very friendly. It was a convenient location, just 5 minutes away to the hospital. The stay was great

I didnt like the hair in my bathroom. They did switch me rooms but managers says thats happens. I worked in cleaning in hotels and that was a big no.

Door from parking lot very hard to open. Our room would not open without a fair amount of force. The front counter girl was friendly, but somewhat confused by the fact that we were Canadian. Overall it was a disappointing stay

Convenient to hospital, but that's about it. Rooms aren't well maintained. Broken cabinet doors. Had to change rooms because first one didn't have a microwave. Then had the audacity to charge extra for microwave. Hampton Inn used to be a great chain. Not any more.

Upon checking in and going to our room we discovered there was a leak from the shower that was going into the room. I went to the front desk who stated they had a leak but could not figure out where it was. They moved our room but I had to repack and move which was ok. Breakfast was good centrally located to every thing overall it was a good hotel.

We were there for my sister's surgery at WV medical center. The proximity to the hospital is what made Hampton our first choice. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and breakfast was amazing!

First hotel I ever stayed in that had a night light in the bathroom! The check in staff were extremely friendly and pleasant.

Room was clean and the staff was friendly. Needed to stay close to ruby hospital since my son had a major surgery and it was basically right across the street :) highly recommend will be staying here again.

Hotel is beautiful, clean, comfortable, easy to get into and out of, plenty of parking.The breakfast options provided were plenty, fresh and hot. Hotel staff were very friendly. I'm very pleased with my stay and cost involved. The only negative encountered was having to request clean towels several times before they were provided.

A regular Hampton that delivers the reliable services you would normally expect from the brand. Close to a few local bars and restaurants and handy for the university. About a half hour walk to downtown.

The property needs to clean the rooms when the guests are staying through, not just every other day. We stayed a Friday-Sunday and our room was not serviced at all. They told us that they only clean rooms on an every other day schedule, which is fine if we would be staying 1 to 3 days. Then at least we would have had some house cleaning. If I am not going to get housekeeping while I am staying at the property then I believe I should be offered a discount.

Clean and just a block or two from Ruby Memorial Hospital. Applebees was next door. There was a 12:00 checkout which was wonderful. Breakfast was hot and ready. Room had a fridge and microwave.

Room was nice. Heater/AC control was hard to adjust.
Door to room was warped and difficult to open and close.

I have several broken things. Window shade not operable,
Toilet paper holder not holding paper,
Temperature control needs battery.
Otherwise all was clean and suplies good.
