Employee strike with bullhorns and drums creating an uncomfortable racket and guest harassment as one entered or left the facility. Hotel did not provide anything to makeup for the discomfort. Not very happy with this stay

The local union was prostesting and made so much noise I could not relax and enjoy the afternoon at the hotel, then they woke me up in the next morning.
It would have nice to know about the protest in advance, I would of stayed somewhere else. Very disappointed!!!

Room was dirty stain upon stains on the loveseat! No bag in the garbage cans! 2 night stay with very little sleep! Late night parties with loud music very annoying teenagers being rude in the lobby and both days we were awakened by union protests promptly at 7am! 3 rd floor wasn’t far enough to avoid the noise! Will never again stay here it’s worst than a flea bag motel!!

I recommend anyone to look elsewhere. Not only were rooms not clean but quiet hours were not followed. We found empty water bottles, stains on furniture, and had no room service. Protestors were yelling and chanting at 7 AM!! Not to mention a big loud party that went past 10 PM. Not worth the money !!

No hand soap in room. Messaged front desk and nothing!
Was woken at 7 am by a protest banging and shouting just outside the building. Protesters were hotel employees.

Amazing bed and amazing shower. Those welcoming cookies were great too!

I would give this hotel 0 star out of the 5. One of the worst. I'd avoid staying at this hotel.
There was no room service during the stay even though I had called each day in the morning requesting for service. When we came back in the evening, the room was still in the same state. When we called the front desk, their response was "Sorry the cleaning crew have left for the day at 4:30pm. We can give you fresh towels".
The room entry key was not working on one of the days and finally they had to call the maintenance guy to repair the lock system. We were stuck outside for an hour.
There was some union protest with protestors yelling starting at 7:00am. What a great way to begin your day on a weekend with the protestors yelling. The protests went on for more than 2 hours. The lady at the front desk downplayed the whole yelling business and said it should. be over in short time which was never the case.
The rooms have no wine or beer openers so you have take your bottle downstairs restaurant for them to open the bottle. Good luck with that!
Overall a horrible experience at this hotel. I'd avoid this hotel. Such a disgrace to Hilton brand from the working staff.

There were picketers standing outside the hotel when we arrived - very loud, banging drums, blowing horns - making it very disruptive. They started at 7:00 am the next morning with their picketing as well.
Restaurant was NOT open so had to walk to restaurant a little ways away to eat dinner.
Rooms need to be upgraded some.
Bed was comfortable though and front desk was very nice.
This is unfortunate for this hotel - but I understand this has been going on since last June… and what they are asking is ridiculous - so picketers just leave and get another job paying what you want. I left the corporate world - and there are very FEW places that would pay the amount you are requesting - and they require degrees. Very disruptive for the guests.

it some type of noise like the air exhaust or some type of air clean ventilation, at night this sound is constant, we personally don't experience in other hotels.

The check in was not too bad but the bed was like sleeping on hardwood floors and we were woken up by protesters by the front door echoing up to our room at 7 AM. We were checked in at 11 PM. When we ordered bagel and cream cheese to go they gave us a bagel with jam and it took almost 10 minutes to get to us and cost $6. The man upfront told us that we could park our car while we we t on our cruise for $20 a day and the place at the cruise dock was way more but it is the same price. He also tried telling us that leaving at 1 from the hotel was fine to get us on the ship and checked in with baggage drop off before 230. I stayed at a different Double Tree a few months ago and will never stay at another one. That was equally a bad stay.

Great rates, great location and Michelle at the front desk was super friendly and very informative.
Room was very clean and the area felt safe

There were hotel workers that were protesting outside the front doors with snare drums and a microphone. When we got there, we had to literally walk through their protest to check into the hotel. It was super uncomfortable, they stopped about 5 o’clock that night . Then they started at 7 AM. Our room was right above the front door. It’s was extremely loud, we did not have to get up that early, but there was no way we could sleep through it! Hilton pay your people a living wage!!!

We were a bit disappointed with the condition of the hotel. Some of the furniture was old and worn and roof had several leaks on the top floor and Dining room. There were bucks scattered throughout to catch the dripping water. Not impressed for the price.

Gorgeous view and grounds..

The property is old, dated, smells moldy, musty and in desperate need of an overhaul. Room looked out at a big dumpster, old abandoned furniture and garbage strewn everywhere. Food and beverages at inflated prices. Cancelled our second night as they could not accommodate a room change.

The hotel was ok, but employees were protesting all morning from before 7 until after noon demanding contracts

It is a place to put your head for a night pre cruise. The staff were all very nice and helpful and the free shuttle was great. The hotel itself could use an upgrade.

Stayed for 1 night before our cruise. Staff was wonderful, went out of their way to take us to town for lunch and pick up. The restaurant staff was so sweet to bring us up our food to our room when we ordered our dinner ‘to go’ even though they didn’t have to.
Beautiful views of the marina and a really nice walk too.
The pool was perfect for our kids and the hot tub really big and in a cute, more private area a little farther from the pool.
Our shuttle to the cruise was seamless and very appreciated.
Overall HIGHLY recommend!

Only reason I didn't give it a five star is that no continental breakfast and raccoons around the pool at night.

Our stay was ok. Very pricey considering there wasn't a free continental breakfast or coffee.

Poor quality room. Well worn room.
Was supposed to have pull out couch, it did not.
Two towels for Three people.
No power outlets. No usb outlets.

Beautiful location - hotel older but has charm - the rooms are very large - slow elevator but hey its a elevator. Also being so far from anything - they need to bring back rental vehicles. Restuarant was ok nothing to exciting. I would recommend 22nd Landing for dinner - was awesome!! You can walk the pier the whole way - if its not too cold.

compared to the room we had last time we stayed with you, this room was subpar. The mattress was terrible, the posistion of the tv made it hard to watch in bed, only 1 light worked. Felt very motel not hotel. I love this place so was dissapointed.

We arrived at 1am from our flight being delayed. We were not told that there were protesters on the premises when the hotel was aware. The protesters started at 6am. I was not able to get any sleep or rest.

The staffs are horrible. They have strike from day to night, lots of noise since 5:00 am.
Also the parking said free but ended up charging us $15/day.
Horrible experience and will never come back.

This is a hotel that needs renovation and improvement. Fundamentally there is nothing wrong but everything seems to be just ok. It is clean enough but the internet service was poor, the bathroom plugs didn't stop the water draining properly, tiles we broken in the elevator and the restaurant menu was very limited but the staff were friendly. It is a shame as this hotel could enhance the good name of Hilton but it doesn't.

The only issue was the heating are room was freezing and the heat wasn’t working.

Great place!! Loved it. Super clean! Wonderful staff. Beds were very comfortable. ❤️

Beautiful view of the harbor. The room has a pocket door for the bathroom, the door is not functioning properly, it slides VERY hard, and to open the same thing. There is NO hair dryer in the room, this has to be the most expensive hotel we have paid for and didn't offer a hair dryer. The service in the dining room, is very slow - we stood and waited for a table from 7:50 am till 8:18 before we were seated, the line kept growing longer and longer.

I travel for work. Im always in hotels, ive never stayed at a decent hotel that does not offer a free breakfast. Until now. The same self serve breakfast at Marriott, Hampton Inn, was an extra $50 at this mediocre Hotel. At $220 per night, i will never stay at a double tree or Hilton ever again.

Close to my destination and awesome food!

I didn’t like that the hotel was secluded and there wasn’t anyway to get around beyond 5 miles unless you took a taxi or Uber.
They only had one restaurant in the hotel that was open, quite noisy and very expensive. There little snack area really didn’t have any options to pick from.

The staff was wonderful and eager to assist. Our only complaint is that the hotel is in a run down condition. We sat yes at this hotel 7 years ago and it was in very nice condition. Now the hotel is in desperate need of a refresh. The carpet I. The room was frayed, wallpaper in the hallways damaged, outdoor furniture in disrepair and no cushions. This is the second time in the last year that we have stayed at a Hilton property and been shocked at the condition of the property. I have never had this experience at a Marriott, their properties are always very well maintained. I have to say I will be avoiding any Hilton hotel in the future.
