The aircon was dripping of water when turn off. The restaurant service was not at a 4 star resort based on the options being given. The ice cream options looked as if it was there for months and not used. They used cheapest plastic glass for water and juice during breakfast which could not sit steady and straight on the table.

The staff were excellent friendly , polite and friendly. Our a/c sprayed water and made the room wet so we had to switch off . Bathroom was a little outdated. The swimming pool needs some maintence. The hotel needs to rethink about supplying water to the room as it is an all inclusive hotel. I felt this very strange.Overall a 4 star hotel not 5.

The hardest decisions to be made were what time we were going to eat, and what we were drinking today. The staff were all exceptionally friendly, and did all in their power to keep our trip trouble free.

Amazing place, unlimited variety of food but the best bit about Naviti is the staff. They are the sweetest, kindest human beings. Thank you for a great holiday!

The staff are amazing and make the holiday memorable in so many ways. Cant wait to book again

This property is a good 4-star property, around 45 years old but in good shape. The all-inclusive is ok, but unfortunately the hotels management has view that kids are not to be treated well. They insist on making life tough for parents with kids needing to eat in separate areas. Nothing like trying to explain to a 3 year old why he needs to eat "kid" chicken and not "dad" chicken (basically same). Or need to take cake at same time as dinner other wise the staff will take it away as kids supposed to eat super early. Ice cream denied to 3-year-old if asked for 15 minutes late - on holidays who wants to dine to a timetable. Basically they are trying to nickle and dime parents. - but the effect is to just make it not worth it for parents. We were really disappointed, and this review of average is based on our like of the pool, and our view the food and treatment of kids is horrible. We just wanted easy dinning, and the hotel was just looking to cause trouble for us by setting off our 3 year old.
FIJI time is ok for staff but for clients and kids is strict. Same policy on towels - 60-dollar fee per towel if late in returning.

The dining team did an excellent job accommodating dietary needs. I was concerned with the all-inclusive but the chef handled things amazingly.
Regarding the F&B included in the all-inclusive, future guests should know the only alcohol included in the package is the local Fijian ones. The coordinated daily activities aren’t really that coordinated.

The Naviti is a great family, resort. The staff working there make you feel incredibly welcome and cared for. Special mentions to Mirry in the bar and Marley in activities. Also the chef making morning omelets.
The Talei restaurant needs a big improvement on the food, it was inedible and disappointing. The buffet could also be improved on. The best night for the buffet food was traditional Fijian and the lovo as delicious.
Very disappointed with activity ladies who said they called us to tell us our guided snorkeling changed from 230pm to 0730am. This did not happen and they were very unapologetic, it meant we missed out on seeing coral our entire trip due to rain on the other days.
The activities guy with tattoos on his shoulder also played music at the pool so incredibly loud it could be heard in your room with the doors closed, he was rude when asked to lower please. Also need more pool bar staff as service was very very slow.
On check out when the bill was printed there was a donation charge we did not recognise and on enquiring got told this was for kids hospital. This left a very sour taste as at no time where we asked or told. This charge was just put on our credit card. Also pay for all inclusive but lots of hidden charges, including water which is ridiculous!!!!!
Overall the staff make this resort, management could improve on allot.

Having visited Fiji before and stayed in Denerau, this time we opted for the coral coast. The all inclusive package is a little confusing and not really explained the best in terms of dining options. Children usually eat free, but we incurred additional costs for meals we thought should be or were included. Service, particularly for drinks can be quite slow, but perhaps that’s just ‘Fiji’ time. Certainly if you are paying for drinks, rather than all inclusive, service seems faster.
Our children had a great time, there were lots of activities on offer and loads of kids to meet.
The buffet options were limited and quite repetitive for breakfast
The resort is a little tired and perhaps under staffed, but nothing of significance to affect your comfort or enjoyment.
The staff are really friendly, particularly the pool bar and they guys running activities.
Would recommend, but not if you are too fussy!

Returned to Naviti as had a wonderful stay previously, I wish I hadn't. The experience was different and not in a good way. Some staff were great, others could not be bothered and multiple requests for towels fell on deaf ears etc, thankfully we had the pool towels to use. This is just one example.
The final straw was being charged $155 for a laundry service for a duvet as my 5 year old who has eczema left 'stains' on it. Never had this happen before at any other hotel.
Good luck Naviti - hope you get back the authentic Fiji hospitality there once was before.

We loved our stay. Our room was no where near as large or as nice as our previous stays at other resorts in Fiji however this negative was outweighed by some positives. We loved the activities there as usual, loads of fun for kids. Food is a little above average but for the all inclusive package it was great not to have to worry about the cost of our meals and with three growing boys they loved the food on offer. The water activities were great but the water itself isn't the nicest at this resort, however a short walk away there is crystal clear water which was great for snorkelling. Overall the staff were great and we loved our stay.

We chose the all inclusive pcean view villa option for our honeymoon. We really enjoyed our time at naviti. The staff were great and treated you like friends. The activities crew were a good laugh and vibe around the resort. You can do as little or as much as you want
while there. Its a little isolated (we knew that and didnt mind) but there are various options for exploring outside of the resort if you want. Theres plenty of things to keep ylu happy at the resort though. We had no issues booking with expedia. I contacted the resort after booking to confirm/arrange booking payments and to arrange airport transfers easy as. We paid on arrival.

The property is old so you should expect several items not working and you may need to change rooms several times.
Instructions for all inclusive is not clear enough and you will discover thatball inclusive is not all inclusive.
All the workers are very friendly with physical touching which may not be accepted to some people like me.
Room are clean but little lizards in room are annoying.
Frer Coconut hunting is amazing.
Everything is happening in Fiji time so 4 hours to get the request done buy will be done.
Food hygiene is something they need to consider as all food in open areas.
At the end I enjoyed my stay but will not repeat it again.

Multi decade old property, well maintained, immaculately landscaped. Spotless cleanliness throughout. All staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds. Attractive waterfront but beach is subpar, no crystal clear water as seen in many South Pacific places. Snorkelling can be done here, you just must swim out a distance to see anything. Excellent kids program and definitely a family oriented resort. Food is average. Many different offerings but foodies will occasionally or never be impressed. Mixed drinks are overpriced and underwhelming. Basic spa with great staff, good treatments but low on ambiance. Pool is nice with fun swim up bar. Overall a good mid range resort which could be better with a cuisine and drink overhaul.

A beautiful resort suitable for families or couples looking to getaway. We enjoyed our stay here over the Xmas Holidays, however, a pair of brand new pair of white Birkenstock sandals which were a Xmas gift were taken from our verandah overnight despite there being 2 cameras on our oceanview villa. Security said they’d check the cameras - we had to follow up a few times. On the day of our check out, still no word from Security. The Duty manager responded with “It’s in the hands of the Security Manager and that they’d be in touch via email”. By this point, we just hope whoever took them, needed them more than we did.

Decent resort with magnificent staff - they are what makes this place great! I found the all inclusive package to be way too much for adults yet very limited for kids. Charges to your room need to be scrutinised very carefully. I paid my account everyday yet found items duplicated in there the next day! Downside for me with children is that it is a very long drive back to Nadi airport and not the best. Couldn’t ask for better staff

When i arrived to check in, my room wasnt available.
I was told to go have lunch as the room was not ready.
So i and my wife sat fir 30 mins ,i went to the reception again and asked when the room will be ready .Ans was not ready.
I booked the room nit from 2pm check in but at 2pm check in.
The room not ready by 2pm was not my problem it is resorts problem,I paid the money for the room from 2pm.
After 10 mins ,i was given another room.
I wasted 30 mins of my holiday just sitting down waiting for the room i booked.
This is the second time i have been treated so differently and i know the reason but i rather not explain.
Things not going to change .
Oh well ,Naviti resort is no longer in my bucket list.
Thanks

Resort grounds are lovely. Has a old vibe to the hotel. Its sister hotel next door the warrick is cheaper to stay at and is much nicer and more modern.
Food is average. Its ok, but could definitely use a refurb and updated menu.

We have been many many times and adored this resort. While the staff are still delicious the resort is tired and management has introduced many new things that limit your options - before you could go between the sister resort The Warwick freely - now they charge you $85 pp
The room was a villa was substandard - we requested the curtains to be fixed 3 times and it was not done - I used a claw clip to hold them closed - golf - a round is charged at nearly $200 for two people yet the course was in extremely poor condition
Food was average even at the fine dining restaurant- very sad to see the ineffective management - we preferred the happy smiling place it used to be

Relaxing around the resort

Went for two nights as a solo traveler. This place is for sure family oriented - I was the only single person, which was fine, but hard to relax with so many kids running around (it was Australian holidays). The service was hit or miss - a few staff were great, others weren’t. I ordered room service both nights to avoid the busy buffet, and both nights my very simple order was incorrect and had to be sent back - they didn’t even bring utensils or napkins! Upon checkout, I was trying to get assistance with taking the local bus but felt the staff was not helpful and I felt nervous, so I took a taxi, which I negotiated down from FJD 165. Overall, if you can go when it’s quieter or if you’re with kids, this might be a good choice, but wouldn’t recommend otherwise.

Family with 2 kids, from Melbourne.
We had a recent stay in Naviti.
The resort is very old and maintenance could have been better .
Single swimming pool for both adults and kids.
It’s difficult to find information re: all facilities and activities.
Also, Online response/ communication- not good enough.
It takes ages for them to reply to any email.
Few staffs are very good, cordial, informative- like Ann from restaurant, Mua from front desc/ guard,
Shams (chauffeur). Special thanks to them for their assistance.
Staff from activity room are not helpful.
Activities are very restrictive.
Few of the receptionists are rude.
Surrounding is beautiful though.
Overall, we had a very average experience .

We had a wonderful stay at Naviti Resort. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing and the inclusive package is fantastic!

We enjoyed our stay at Naviti very much. Our first time in Fiji. They made it easy with airport pickup! The all inclusive bundle is definitely worth it. Not many walkable options nearby otherwise. Great first stop. The rooms were a little dated so 4 stars instead of 5. Staff and service were stellar.

Our stay at the Naviti for 7 nights was excellent. The entire staff across the resort were so happy, engauging and nothing was a problem for them. Plenty of food and dining options at more than reasonable prices, as well as multiple gluten free options. Our Ocean View room was spacious and well appointed. Although the mattress was little old and only a double size (Australian Sizing), management needs to look at purchasing new ones in a queen size to better cater to international guests. Plenty of activities for adults and kids and because the resort is on such a large parcel of land, even though being fully occupied you never feel cramped for space. All in all the Naviti is a great value for money resort and we would more than be happy to stay at again or recommend to anyone. Vinaka

For a 4 star property this was not up to par.
I had booked 2 double beds and got a double and a twin.
There were no hand and face towels which even after requesting it, didnt get there until about 6hrs later when i met with the duty manager. Service at the restaurant left a lot to be desired.
There were no information packet/ booklet in the room.
Later the same evening we found sand under the sheets in the twin bed.
All this in one day, the day we checked in.
One of the reasons we booked this property was because of tennis courts. They were in terrible shape.
Food wasnt the best. Found a bettle near my bath tub. On checking out, tried to call front desk for porter as we had lots of bags but the call kept getting rerouted.
During all this the front office manager met us but no satisfactory resolution was provided.
Maybe i should stop now

Our whole holiday was ruined because of our check in process. They cancelled our reservation without notifying me. The staff said they tried to take the amount from my bank and when they couldn't they cancelled my reservation, whereas my reservation was to pay at the property and it was clearly stated in my reservation email. The same booking was made for Warwick and tokatoka and they never cancelled my booking. We had a long flight and 2 hours delay coz of customs and once we reached Naviti, we find out that our reservation was cancelled. On top of that the guy at the reservation said he could book us again but obviously the chrages would be different. Luckily i still had my reservation email which i forwarded to reservation and it was sorted out from their side but no apology was given to us for a mistake made by their side
This was my second year at Naviti but this experience has put me off from booking with them again

The room was clean and suitable with good air conditioning and sea view .
The breakfast was adequate , sugared made juice not fresh fruit juice, instant coffee, the omelettes were great .
The grill ffood was awful woeful pizza and bland cold curry .
The Bamboo Chinese was the highlight of the trip amazing food and service by the chef and Milli
The cocktails had no fresh juice and were sugary coloured watery drinks .
Josh the porter was amazing and went above and beyond to try and make our stay better .
Ana the room lady was great too ( but not the lady when Ana was off duty )
Children were allowed to self serve food and out the tongs or spoons in their mouths and put them back , the staff were not bothered, it’s no wonder people got sick , we did not eat in the buffet in the evenings and only ate things children couldn’t reach in the mornings.
For the Warwick chain this is not the level of hotel we have come to live in the past , they need to up their game
Strimming/weed rating should not be undertaken at 6.20 am in the morning! People are on holiday

You are getting what you are paying for at the Naviti. It’s a little tired, service is lacking. For slightly more the sister property the Warwick is better value

We had a sea view studio villa. It was situated near the pool and the little beach area.
It was clean and very spacious with everything we needed.
This resort is definitely a family friendly one. With heaps of activities for kids and families. We didn’t realise this when we booked (as a couple without children). And may not have booked here if we had known this. There is definitely no getting away from the children!
The pool is large and you can usually find a lounger. The grass area along the beach front is a pleasant alternative and tended to be quieter than the pool area.

We had a mixed experience at the Naviti Resort.
POSITIVES: Bed was comfortable, friendly staff on the whole, well stocked onsite shop, nice grounds, lots of extra curricular activities, peaceful nights sleep, taxi driver was friendly, live singing was lovely.
NEGATIVES: We were shown to our room which wasn't what we booked. We had to wait over 45 minutes to be moved. Pool music was way too loud. Surcharges were added but hot alluded to until payment was being made. Fine Dining restaurant could not supply a number of food offerings on the menu. Slow internet. No inform compendium with helpful tips regarding room and resort. Pillows were hugely overfilled. Safe was not anchored down. Fridge was unbalanced and hard to open, no actual milk, hardly any teabags. TV was small and lacked channel selection. Channel one showed the hotel amenities but the slide show was so fast you couldn't really take them in. No handle on the inside of the bathroom door. Shower lacked pressure and hot water took up to 5 minutes to come through. Toilet kept running after flushing, had to push again to stop it. Toiletries were labelled with super small writing which was found on the back of the bottles. Linen was stained. Overall the hotel was quite rundown.

The resort was very clean and had plenty of activites to do to keep everyone entertained all day. The staff where very friendly and helpful.

Our stay at Naviti Resort was very enjoyable. The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times. The music at the restaurants was great and the night entertainment was exceptional. Very relaxing and enjoyable holiday destination, we really enjoyed how well the families and their young children were catered for with Kids Club, baby sitters etc.

It was nice and quiet relaxing

They don't advertise the resort well enough on the website! There's actually so many activities included every day that are not publicized until the day before (you get a paper every night). The staff are generally very lovely here so please be kind to them. Food was great and we had so much fun snorkeling in the reef (go to the right and to the deeper spot straight ahead), as well as the pool exercise and volleyball sessions. Will definitely be back!

Our first time in a resort like this. We chose not to be inclusive and that worked for us and we paid as we went. The property grounds are very beautiful. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was great, bed was great and shower pressure great.
Everyone was so welcoming and the kids club was good for the kids to just be able to be a bit independent from us. Very safe for kids.
