The rooms are dated but the worst part was the air con vent rattled all night and couldnt be stopped. You can hear every room around you slamming doors or cupboards and talking. Drunk people yelling. Got not much sleep at all.

Nice place but reception staff should be more friendly, no smiles at all, parking is too far, all the close parking is locked even that it is empty, also other hotels we stayed in Darwin had free foxtel this one movies cost money, I haven't seen a hotel that does that in Australia in a very long time, Apart from that all good.

they advertised the Mindil beach lagoon but when i get there they put me in Mindil Beach Casino Hotel which is the old hotel really I'm very disappointed and my partner is very upset to me our Christmas is been spoiled.

Absolutely beachfront room which was very spacious. Hotel is large but is very quiet. Efficient and helpful staff at front desk, in restaurants and room service. The only place to stay in Darwin.

A great hotel with a wide variety of activities. It runs almost 24/7 so be aware of noise around your room from plant and equipment. If not happy they will move you as I did. It’s a great place to stay.

Hotel is conveniently located on Mindil beach (great for Thurs night markets) and colocated with the Casino. Hotel is dated but clean. Infinity pool overlooking the beach is superb. Breakfast could have been a better experience: no water on table, no mention of fresh juices when offered juice upon seating, toast barely cooked.

We stayed for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel. Food options were good, although breakfast could have been better

The staff were really friendly and very accommodating. The swim-out room was divine. Pool bar, Casino, Restaurants, all great. Room service was fast and great quality. Mindil Beach and the markets are right there and were fantastic. Great holiday! Hope to stay there again. Thankyou :)

Booking a room through WOTIF we received a very average room, not what I was expecting.

Loved Mindil Beach overall. Lagoon room was beautiful with a huge bathroom.The Lagoon Pool is amazing so big and never felt crowded. Easy check in and check out. Il Piatto dinner was delicious and excellent service from staff. Will definitely be back!

Great choice of Restaurants. Only negative is both pools have far too much chlorine in the water. Needed eye drops to stop the stinging. The stinging was terrible and a real let down, otherwise everything else was great.

Very disappointed with a lot of things but most of all with the Infinity pool which not known until one arrives, so too late to change hotels, allows the general public in it from Thursday till Sunday, supposedly from midday but people definitely arrived earlier. No proper shower at residents pool for those waiting to go to airport so had to use one in Infinity pool… only one, so had to queue with all those partying. Ridiculous when we’ve paid not a small amount to stay at this hotel and the main photos are of the stunning Infinity pool looking out over the beach.. so quite frankly rather a con. I think this hotel tries to be ALL things to all people but fails in every way. However the food and service, in the Italian restaurant, particularly Francesca very good…

The resort looks nice, the rooms look nice, the service from the resort staff was amazing. However, the room, the lights on one wall kept flickering whenever the wall was lent on or the power point used, the bathroom was all one level (including the shower) so when you had a shower all the water ran underneath the shower door and all over the bathroom floor, so all the towels were used to mop up the water, and the room wasnt serviced in the 3 nights we stayed so the towels weren't exchanged. One aircon wasnt working properly, and the temp or fan speed couldnt be changed, so one section of the apartment was warm and the other cold, condensation developed on the floor and made it wet and very slippery. I ended up going to the airport 4 hours earlier to get better aircon. Wouldn't stay there again for the money we paid. (And this was a free upgraded room we received)

Don't book on Expedia unless you want to pay double the walk in rate. Check if construction is going on before booking as they won't tell you that until you're woken up by a concrete grinder at 6am. Couldn't relax in our room as intended as it was a construction site. Resorts are not meant to be a construction site and guests should have the ability to make an informed decision based on current works. The facilities were good and the bar staff were very nice which is why I'm not rating it lower.

We had a fabulous stay at the casino. Our room was spacious, well air conditioned and bed was very comfortable. We very much enjoyed both pools, the cocktails and dinner at the Italian restaurant with beautiful sunset views.

We loved everything. The staff where wonderful to us and very helpful, with day trips, places to see, very friendly which made a great holiday and would come back again.
