It was a good place to just stay and relax after venturing out all day. Just a comfy no frills place to sleep would definitely stay again

My stay there was ok. The pull out couch mattress had a big stain on it, i had to ask for sheets and blaket for the pull out. And the sheets had stains on it also. Realy nothing special about the room itself.. the only good thing about it, the regular bees was very comfortable.

I was on the second floor people above me on the third floor sounded like they were bowling in their room did not stop till 2 AM called down to the front desk. Nothing was done about it. I was given a full refund, but didn’t get much sleep. Manager was amazing and very apologetic.

The property is a little away from things but that is what we wanted. Quiet, comfortable bed, clean, had a small kitchen which can be nice. I will be staying here again.

The room smelled like heavy cigarette and stale beer.

Having a tiny kitchen was useful especially since breakfast was very skimpy

Front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was in need of some TLC. Hole in the carpet and hairs - not mine - in the tub.

Hotel smelt gross

It was great. The only annoyance I had was that after I turned in my keys and finished packing, I asked to use their restroom. The signs said that there was a restroom so either it wasn’t functional or became the public. When I asked to use the restroom I was told that they did not have a public restroom. I think they should have one for the price I paid. Or that I shouldn’t be the public afterwards. It’s silly and minor but it’s stuck for several days.

Noisy; no WiFi: no ac : bad front desk :terrible breakfast

The breakfast was poorly done. Granola bars, prepackaged muffins, instant oatmeal, hot chocolate and coffee, and more than half the time we went down for breakfast during our stay everything had been picked over and only a few packages of plain instant oatmeal and hot chocolate were left. Hotel staff said the meager breakfast was due to Covid, but we stayed in a similar hotel for the first week of our stay just south of Boston, and they had a full regular breakfast (including fresh fruit, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, fruit juice, milk, cereal and lots more). I think the meager breakfast was actually the hotel trying to be cheap and save money, but using Covid as an excuse. Due to the meager breakfast options, my kids would not eat what was offered and I had to go shopping to buy breakfast for the week in addition to our other meals, but then the refrigerator in our room stopped working and we had to throw out all the food because it went bad. The first room we were assigned had been smoked in, had a smoke smell and a cigarette burn on the pull out sofa mattress. We were moved to another room, but it had a foul smell coming from the AC unit (but it was better than the cigarette smell). All three stairways were closed during our stay as the carpet was removed and replaced with rubber stairs - so only the elevator could be used and there was a lot of noise. No pillows or sheets were available for the pull out beds, although the front desk gave us some blankets.

Rooms were very run down, halls smelled. Seems like they are housing the homeless. Felt uncomfortable let my wife walk downstairs alone. Staff was very nice bed were clean and comfortable. This hotel doesn't show well for the brand.

Very close to Salem (driving wise), but far enough away to be outside of the noise and chaos in the evenings

Stayed here for a few days for a recent Salem trip. Staff was beyond amazing and sweet. While it was just a place for us to sleep during our long trip days and wr only spent a few hours each day at the hotel, its was clean and fit our needs. The pullout couch wasnt great but we didnt expect it to be. Has a full kitchen, which we didn't need or use, but great if you staying for a while or need to save money from eating out. Ac worked, internet worked ,after a small issue which eas resolved immediately by the great staff, and was a great affordable option for us going to Salem. It is a bit dated but for the great staff (especially Noz), affordable price and closesness to Salem its a great option for the area.

Broken radio alarm clock, light not working in room, keys did not open door after leaving and coming back to room and ran out of coffee in the morning.

Everything was ok. Grab and go needs changing up sometimes.

We stayed just one night, and it was fine - the tub/shower valve was stuck so the water ran out of both at once, but it got hot. We didn't live that the cups at breakfast were styrofoam, nor that there wasn't any regular creamer for coffee, but appreciated the oatmeal. Would have appreciated a highchair or booster seat for the toddler. It was great to have a freezer in the room.

The place is way over priced for the service they offer. The rooms need renovating and updating. Overall bad experience.

Hotel is located on a dead-end in an industrial area, very dated with a weird smell in the room. Upon check-in the front desk staff was on the phone discussing the loss of the hot water. The “residents” were informed. People were living at the hotel. We did not stay, we checked out and were refunded.

The full breakfast didnt exist. The first morning they didnt even have coffee. Instant oatmeal and cheap muffins was a very inadequate breakfast. It wasn't near any stores or restaurants.

The room was extra large, with a full kitchen and counter with good operable windows.
The carpet was original and had holes and worn places in it in several places.
The shower curtain was broken and dangling, but after the first day a maintenance person had come out and repaired it while we were gone, so it was good to know work orders were being addressed.
The trash was left full and unemptied in the kitchen after the previous occupant left, which was a clear oversight by the cleaning staff.
The breakfast was just coffee and packaged pastries from the store and they were quickly emptied by the first few people down the stairs.
I could over look any two of these issues, but taken altogether they need to do a better job.

Room is big and comfortable but the place is run down and high priced per night in my opinion.

The place is totally run down there was a hole in the carpet. The door latch was on with 1 screw and just swung around. Sadly neglected.

This was the worst experience we have ever had in a hotel. The room smelled of cigarettes though it was a non-smoking room. There were signs of what can only be described as cigarettes butt marks all over the bathroom and the wall outside the bathroom. Like someone had stubbed out their cigarettes there. There were stains on the carpet and on the sofa. The whole room was dirty. Though the place had a kitchen, it was dirty and there were no dishes. We were told we had to request dishes. Then we had to go down ourselves to collect them. The dishes were filthy. We had to wash the plates and cups and silver before we could use anything. There isn't even an ice machine in the whole hotel. It was the filthiest place we have ever had the misfortune to stay. We moved out the very next morning even though the hotel refused to refund our money!
