The lot was "full" so we had to park in the garage and walk with our stuff. That wasn't too bad but annoying (and much cheaper to park in the garage anyway). Staff at check in was great and helpful. The reason this stay was terrible was because our room was next to the fitness center. At 6 a.m. there were people in there tossing around a medicine ball or something. Woke us up and was impossible to sleep. I had to call the front desk. Even after that, it was still noisy although at least the ball wasn't constantly bouncing. If they are going to rent a room next to the fitness center then they shouldn't allow anyone to use the center that early. Sucks to pay for a hotel for a night and not be able to sleep. I will never stay here again because of this experience and will never consider Hilton to be a premium brand again with this sort of facility as part of the chain. I never write reviews but this was so awful I want to make sure no one else has to go through what my family and I did this morning.

Place is great for a quick business trip, or a couple of days travelling where hanging out in the hotel isn't the point of the trip. The staff were very helpful, pleasant and accommodating.

We liked everything, but especially the condition of the room, the quietness, and the courteous, helpful and friendly staff. The latter were incredible, starting with Aurora in parking who was outstanding in getting things going off the top. Our hats off to her.

Everyone was extra nice and very helpful

My wife and I stayed here for our first visit to LA and loved it. The hotel was conveniently located to a lot of sights in Hollywood, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and cozy. The outdoor heated pool and hot tub were fantastic and very relaxing. The hotel was quiet, and it was a very relaxing stay. I would HIGHLY recommend it.

Make the breakfast a little cheaper

The room was a standard-sized room with a king-sized bed. Nice shower and bathroom. Comfortable but small compared to what we normally get. There is only one chair and no table of any kind. Towels are nice, and wifi is 24 Mbps if you pay the extra $5. I have no idea what the normal speed is. NO PARKING unless you are willing to shell out $45 for valet. I have no idea where you park otherwise. Free breakfast was good, but out of coffee and no ketchup for the cubed potatoes. There was only one person on staff to do everything, including bus the table. Poor guy.

Great place to stay if youre going to the Hollywood Bowl or want to be a short drive away from Universal Studios. Clean! There's outside construction happening right now but dont let it fool you...the place is clean. The elevator needs some upgrading but the rooms were a clean and comfortable stay.

Easy walk to the Hollywood Bowl. The parking lot was blocked off when we got there, which was very frustrating since there is literally nowhere else to stop your car, but the manager was super nice and waived our parking fees for our stay. Very nice, clean place to stay!

They only have valet parking for $45 a night, to high for a hotel if you are already paying $300 for the night… also the beds are small and not comfortable at all and the pillows are super soft, won’t be staying at a Hilton any time soon…

The Hilton Garden Inn (Los Angeles/Hollywood) is the perfect location if you are going to the Hollywood Bowl for an event. It is an easy an safe 15 min walk!

Pretty good

The location is excellent for Hollywood area attractions, although the highway is noisy. The room was very shabby for what I normally associate with a Hilton property. Lots of scratches and dings, fixtures dangling from walls, etc. The staff seemed attentive enough and the breakfast setup was nice.

Easy check in, gave us what we asked for, quiet, clean & comfortable. However, we were in a rush to meet friends and had to take cold showers!!! It was awful!!! We called down, a service member came immediately and fixed the problem too late for us. They took our parking off the bill.

Super friendly staff! Very accommodating!

This breakfast area was disappointing. Some of the food was cold. No one helped us or offered any type of service. The staff in the kitchen seemed to be having a lot of fun chatting with each other very loudly. When we were almost finished eating someone came out and said we could have an omelette if we wanted. Everything else in the hotel was great.

The hotel is conveniently close to the Hollywood Bowl. This means that when there is an event on there, auto and pedestrian traffic is very noisy and congested. Make sure that you ask for a room NOT facing the street, and far from elevators and ice machines where noisy guests congregate as they did during my stay (hotel management moved me to such a room when I complained about the allocated ("Expedia") room. The only parking on site is valet and my experience with this ranged from excellent to uncooperative.The area does not seem particularly safe at night (although I had no bad experiences other than noisy crowds on the street). I was warned by a local not to walk around the area with a backpack or anything else that would identify me as a tourist (probably good advice anywhere).
