This place is wonderful and very reasonably priced. The room is set up with great efficiency, comfort and is immaculate. Although it’s not a modern design it brings me back to the era of simplicity. The fireplace is cozy and pub on grounds is equally so.

Was a nice stay that we hadn’t planned due to an emergency. Located next to the casino.

There was no hot water

Great restaurant, quite and easy walk to the casino

Parking does get hectic when it's dinner time, Friday, an event. So patience is key.

I gave this place a good score because it met my 5 star criteria. Yes, some of the paint was chipped and the tub didn't immediately drain, but the room was one of the cleanest we've had. The beds were comfy, there was a keurig coffeemaker instead of nespresso mini sludge, and staff were very friendly. There was an attached pub with reportedly good food. It's directly across a small street to the casino and within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. It's a good less expensive alternative to needlessly overpriced establishments. Not fancy, but really comfy and safe.

I liked the "hotel only" parking. Convenient location

The Inn is very old and looks worn. It was difficult to regulate the temperature in the room and that made it difficult to sleep.

Price was good and room was clean

Nice and quiet except for the occasional military plane taking off or landing. That wasn't a problem for us as it didn't awaken my husband. Our son loved and we went right back to sleep. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. We were very pleased by it. Close to several amenities, as well.

My stay with my two friends was wonderful, and I'm very pleased that my requested items was fulfilled. Interactions with the staff at the front desk was wonderful, honestly a lot better than another place I personally had stayed at. Other than not having an elevator to get up to the second floor- I and one other member of my little group have physical problems but that's a side note- and having to struggle up & down the stairs, it was still a wonderful place to rest for the night after each day that we were busy with. Wifi could've been better instead of kicking us off every hour or so, but we understand that there were a lot of people staying there too.
I and my two friends hoped that when we left, the room was relatively clean to some degree to make it easier on staff. None of us wanted to leave any junk behind, but if we did, I personally apologize for doing so.
TLDR: Service was wonderful, wifi was a hit & miss, room was cozy & clean, a little upset with the lack of an elevator, and- overall- one of the best places I, and my friends, have stayed at.

I was disappointed in the condition of the property. A little run down and it seems like when they “fix” things there it’s just doing it the quickest, easiest, and cheapest. Not horrible but will not return unless absolutely necessary.

This place is nothing special. It’s cheap and it works. The staff when you check in is slow and seems to be someone new every time. I’d go to this hotel because it’s cheap and easy if I’m going to the casino or to a show at the cross arena.

Great location. Ambivalent greeting at check-in. Tired property. Strong antiseptic odor in stairway and hallway. Petroleum odor in room. TV channels noted on-screen were opposite of what was being shown. Even though it was the least expensive room in greater Bangor, I would not stay at Fireside Inn & Suites again.

When I made reservations w/Hotels.com, I had asked for a couple of things which did not get passed on to the hotel, but the girl checking me in redid it to accommodate me and my special requests. Staff was wonderful.

Space was clean, staff were friendly and helpful and location was quiet. The room is dated but centrally located to get onto the highway or downtown.

We stayed at Fireside for a concert at the cross center. It was very convenient as we just had to walk across the street. Having the restaurant on site made it easy to grab a bite before the concert.
Room was clean nothing fancy. Best part of the stay was the water pressure. Would stay at Fireside again.

Our tv did not work and the employees where extremely helpfull and quick to fix our issue. I hate having to complain about something not being to standard but the workers made us feel comfortable and and where very quick to resolve the issue !

Came into town for a concert at the amphitheater. Location was great but there were other places to stay in the area that were in much better condition! I would definitely pay the extra money to book at another motel. The bedding did not feel clean. Pillows felt damp. Room had a bad odor. Building was run down and outdated. Won’t be back!!

This hotel was just fine for our one night stay in Bangor. The only disappointing part was that they say they are "dog friendly," however you could not leave the dog alone in the room, so we were unable to go out to dinner.

It was old and tired but clean enough. No elevator. Internet was slow and dropped completely a few times. Well located. Appreciated the on site restaurant.
