great location on the beach and close to town and local restaurants and bars. Staff eere great esp J inny at the front desk. Enjoyed the different pools.
Sunprime is an adults only so quiet. Glad they had entertainment some nights but wish not the same 3 people with the same songs every time.
Not sure if it was soemthing we atr at dinner at the hotel or a flu type bug but unfortunateky were sick for almos tthe while time and I am still as I write this 8 days later. So sadly did not get to enjoy as we would have.

This is a very nice resort. It's a bit of a ride to/from the airport, but we appreciated how quiet it was while still having plenty to offer. We drove into Patong a few times and came back glad that we had stayed here each time. The restaurants were excellent, pool service was nice and all the staff we interacted with were very friendly. Having a doctor and a mini-mart on site was a plus as well.

The property is in a superb position on the beech .
There are many pools with no hassle in finding sun loungers .
Staff are very pleasant.
Only small disappointment was that the restaurant food could have been a little better as lots of oil on many dishes .

Highly recommend this property! Customer service, staff, and cleanliness is all excellent. Walking distance to the beach, there’s a street nearby with local shops, along the beach you’ll also find vendors and restaurants/bar.

This was a last minute booking because our previous hotel was terrible. So we didn't really research the hotel before booking. It wasn't the type of place that we would normally book as it is a very big hotel. But it was great, right on the beach, with a wonderful breakfast, great staff and great facilities. We had a junior suite as it was the only type of room available. It was massive with very comfortable bed, excellent shower and a big fridge. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Sunprime is always a great place to stay. This is my wife's favorite place, and she stays here every time she visits Kamala Beach. The staff are friendly and always remember her. The location is great, the food is great. you cannot ask for much more

Great location, friendly atmosphere and staff. Clean rooms.. Efficient and very helpful reception staff. Restaurant staff cheerful and attentive. Overall this hotel has become a second home over the past 10 years or so. I am always made feel welcome.

Fantastic location and staff. All the staff are great and very helpful, but a special mention to Gift, who greeted us with a beautiful smile every morning at breakfast and Tawan for his outstanding service.

Top notch resort. Everything works and being so close to beach makes it even better. If I want to try to find something to complain it is... Location of the resorts entrance when you use transportation. But I higly recommend this resort.

When we arrived at the facility our room was in the second floor there’s no elevator the assistant has to help us carried our luggage
On the second night of our stay there was no light in our room maybe they had power outage?

I stayed in Deluxe rm 4101, 2-14th June, beach wing. Great view, clean and comfortable.
Great beach location. Very relaxing, loving the Adults Only vibe by the pools enjoying the sea breeze. Perfect for solo travellers, couples and friends wanting to unwind.
Breakfast, restaurant and bars excellent, with good variety.
The staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. The service is exceptional and one of the best I have ever experienced.
I will return to Kamala Beach Resort. 9.5 for this mid range establishment. I actually extended by 3 days. Just wonderful!

The "adults only" portion of the title should be changed to "seniors only". Surrounded by chain smokers everywhere, including the room balconies, which made it impossible to have an enjoyable experience when trying to relax and sit in covered areas. Beach was filthy with garbage everywhere, and lifeguards would not allow any swimming in the ocean, despite me trying to explain I am an experienced ocean swimmer. Area restaurants seemed very basic and similar to each other.

I had the luxury at staying Sunprime Kamala Beach for nine nights.
It was absolute heaven. I would highly recommend the resort to anyone.
The staff are very friendly. The food is excellent and the pools are amazing. The location is right on the beach close to the shops.
The room was clean and cool. I will definitely stay there again.

Loved the location right on the beach. Room very comfy black out curtains. Two wonderful beds and two big pillows. Big fridge a couch outdoor setting. Plus a walk-in shower. Breakfast had something for everyone.

It draws a certain crowd. It's not an instagram crowd but a crowd where you can be the real you. The hotel had a high occupancy when I was there but plenty of space for everyone. If you need validation from external or virtual beings, this place is not for you but Cafe Del Mar is just a short walk away. If you are a person who likes to chill with a book or just with a beer in hand, this place is for you!

Well located away from the hustle of Patong. Not a lot of shade around the pools which makes the water temperature more like a bath and not refreshing.

So pleased with our stay! There were numerous pools to choose from with swim up bars, the resort was right on the beach, the staff was OVER THE TOP friendly and helpful, the rooms were nice and clean, the outside facilities within the resort were always well kept, there were a decent amount of little stands on the beach for both shopping and food that are a short walk from the resort and the breakfast buffet was AMAZING! 10/10 would stay here again, we were so sad to leave!

I enjoyed a very relaxing stay at this resort. I had a large deluxe room with a comfortable king bed. My room was cleaned promptly every morning. I appreciated having four pools and two restaurants to choose from. This resort is located right along the beach and you can sit at a pool on the property while still listening to the ocean just outside. Excellent access to many restaurants, massage places, and pubs. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. I would come back!

The overall landscape of the property was quite nice and my ground level room was quaint, but a little "rough around the edges". The AC was nice and cold.
Sadly there were quite a bit of ants and a few cockroaches in the room. But not enough to be unbearable. I also suffered a very badly burnt hand from the hot water tap in the bathroom sink. Also there was a slight sewage odor coming from somewhere, but that seems common for the area.
Beach access was great and Kamala is a nice quiet scene with a few walking streets. Food and drinks were expensive and frankly the Pad Thai was disappointing for my first meal in Phuket. I ordered and it came maybe 1-2 minutes later and was obviously reheated.
The staff were great and very helpful and none of my complaints come at the fault of them. I would still recommend the resort if you are 50-60 and like to just lay beside a pool all day because they have multiple nice pools. If you can get the place for $40-$50 a night I would say give it a go but it's not worth it over that.

Value for money is great if you can look past the hotel entrance reminiscent of an old hospital corridor with rooms off.
Reception area, along with rest of hotel, which is in dire need of refurbishment. Something I believe is starting in May 2023.
My hotel room had all the usual expected fixtures and items, but again drab and tired.
The bathroom needed to be ripped out.
Now on the plus side.
The hotel's location, right on the beach, is great.
The rooms are all clean. The bed is comfortable.
All the hotel staff are helpful and charming.
The restaurant by the sea has wonderful views.
The breakfast buffet was good.
The outside bar areas were attractive with live music in evenings and fire show once a week.
The pools were attractive and clean. Sun beds are also in need of replacement. But adequate.
Proximity to lovely beach, beach bars and shopping a huge plus.
The hotel just scrapes 3 stars, huge room for improvement but value for money.
The all hotel staff are helpful and charming.

Couldn’t experience a better stay. Rooms are spacious and clean with a great view. Swimming pools are all very big, clean, surrounded with trees and great staff. The massage in the hotel was just perfect. The beach, the restaurants and the buffet were also great.
The building is nice and clean. The staff and the managers are very polite and always available.
I have to add, we postponed our stay for three more nights, as we liked everything very much.
