The Movenpick is a beautiful property with 5 star amenities. The breakfast was among the best I’ve ever had at a hotel/resort. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The property is clean, comfortable, and luxurious. I would stay here again, and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech!

They lie about having aircondition and had me fooled for 5 hours until they finally gave me a new room….. With no aircondition. They turn it off in “the winter” and dont tell you so instead they play games with you untill you give up. I specifically booked a hotel for this reason at least you could have been honest with me instead of the 5 phonecalls and 3 turns to the reception untill i had a headache, got 5 hours of sleep and moved to the new room with the same result….

Nice enough hotel in a good location. However the room smelled of cigarette smoke and the hairdryer broke and they didn’t bring a replacement. The breakfast is chaotic and the coffee is terrible.

Beautiful hotel with stunning features. Breakfast selection was very good and spa services were good. Staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly with booking excursions. Also loved that they provided us with a categorised list of the best restaurants nearby!

Don’t book any excursions at this hotel. Very bad service and they seem to be gaining $ from it. Fleecing. Also very rude staff. Hotel itself was nice. Good good. Atmosphere.

The property itself is huge, the lobby and the grounds are magnificent, however the rooms are less so.. bathroom needs update- tiles chipping, walls scuffed, the terrace that we had was not cleaned properly as there was some ashes on the floor tiles from previous occupants- very minor things anyway What was a bit of problem for us- the breakfast. It was not up to standard of 5starr hotel. The selection was big however the quality was not satisfactory. The hams looked bit old and crusty, the yoghurts not fresh, very little fresh fruit, the eggs… few times we asked the chefs to cook an omelet for us - almost every time we had raw eggs inside.. I went for fried eggs - raw again.. so we stayed of the eggs completely. Also the pool situation- there are few pools, plenty of beautiful comfortable sunloungers but what spoils it all are the people that ‘reserve’ it from early morning! We were never unable to have one at any time of the day- yes maybe further down or maybe by the colder pool but there was plenty! We were able to see one couple that was sunbathing by one side of the pool but moved to the other side of the pool ( where they previously ‘reserved sun loungers ) once the sun moved… In general property is beautifully maintained, staff was lovely and I would recommend.

Gorgeous property in a very central location. Friendly staff, excellent service and great amenities. My wife and I loved this hotel so much we canceled our stay at another Hotel to extend our stay here. Service at the pool restaurant was fantastic. Same at the breakfast restaurant. Wish I remembered the name of the older gentleman who took great care of us every morning at breakfast. He’d have our coffee and juice on the table within minutes of us sitting down. Was really nice and unexpected level of service.

Absolutely lovely hotel. All the staff were very attentive and helpful. A great and varied breakfast. This hotel really caters for everyone and equally appreciated that children want to enjoy their holidays too. There are several pools allowing adults and young families alike to enjoy themselves.

The lobby is beautiful and the young lady and others associated with the concierge were excellent and made a bad experience much much better. Thank you to them. Every other aspect of this experience was bad. There are many many fine hotels in Marrakech choose another. They were holding a large event which they apparently do often and everyone else in the hotel was a third class citizen. Funnily enough it was for travel people, I hope none of them book their people to this hotel. Rooms had zero amenities - no hair dryers, no irons, no water, sometimes no towels, etc etc - not even remotely 4 stars - pools and food outlets closed to third class customers and fitness center one day, event security viewed everyone else as needing a hall pass to walk around hotel - just a horrible experience

Everything was excellent except they dont include breakfast as other similar hotels do. Breakfast can be purchased for $25 pp. Something to consider before booking. Grounds, room, pool all were exceptional.

I loved this property, the service and the relaxing vibe throughout. Also, a great location. I inquired about an outside dining experience with a show- I was quoted one price by one person which was similar to an online reservation but Mr. Said from concierge not only asked us to pay in cash but added 100 more dirhams and did not provide a receipt. To add insult to injury, we sat next to a couple who paid 700 dirhams less than us. To make it worse, Chez Ali was a tourist trap with the worse food experience I ever had. I am now questioning the food cleanliness as I have bad abdominal pain since last night. The hotel should stop making reservations for this place and make sure its stuff does not unethically overcharge.

What an incredible experience it's been staying at Movenpick Hotel in Marrakech! The level of service is top notch, but the concierge team (especially Lamia and Said) are spectacular. They took care of every possible last detail for us to ensure we leave here with a Moroccan experience and memories to last a lifetime. They were so accommodating and genuinely hospitable.

A great stay but minimal choice of food. Only one restaurant open in evenings with limited menu. They really need to get the other restaurants open as a matter of urgency. Despite the head chef's assurance even basic foods like pizza were not even available on the room service menu.
