Paint was peeling off the walls in bathroom. Place needs a maintenance person. Toilet handle fell off after one use. Pool was 45° and not circulating. Pump room door has no lock and was open, unattended and I popped my head in. Pool pump was off, pool and hot tub chemicals were completely off.
No information or noticed the pool was not in use and key car worked to get in. I had mentioned it to the front staff and was told over so sorry thank you for letting us know, again no closure of the pool continue to let guest use, which I do not think anyone else wanted to use at the time because was cold as ice and murky. My 7yr old son said “dad, let’s not come back” breakfast was good, grate service. Food was hot and fresh.

Didn’t honor reservation and none of the fans in any of the rooms work. Getting someone at the front desk is almost impossible

They were resealing bathtubs so it stunk of chemicals and we had to move to three different rooms before one didn't stink terribly. Hot tub was out of order and the pool was super cold. Would not recommend.

The location is great as you are in east walking distance or restaurants. The room and facilities were clean; however the exercise room and spa were not operating.

I enjoy staying at this Comfort Inn because of its location. It could use some renovations as it is showing some wear and tear.

Very nice hotel. I only had two very minor complaints with my room, namely that the toilet seat was loose and the sink drained very slowly.

Overall the staff was friendly and helpful. The view from out window faced the houses and back yard/alley. It was kind of messy.

We were promptly move to a different room on check in when the AC was not functioning in the first room. However, the controls on the AC Unit in the second unit were broken as well.
The staff skipped our room service after the 3rd night of our stay. No bath linins and beds weren't made. We left early and came in late that day so there was not good reason. Bed linins didn't matter becuase they had been changed the day before.

The property and room were fine - it was clean, and the property seemed reasonably well maintained. The front desk people seemed like they couldn't be bothered with any questions and were not friendly at all.

This is a FILTY hotel. the floors are disgusting, pillows are nasty and the shower and bath tub faucet was broken. I asked for a refund and Panyo the patel refused to do anything about it. HAd a lazy a$$ attitude. I would have been better off sleeping in my car.

The air conditioners in the rooms are programmed to turn off around 9:00 p.m. and back on around 6:30 a.m. At first I thought something was wrong with the unit in my room but talking with other guests, they had the same experience. Also, no A/C at all in the breakfast/conference room and it was so hot in there you couldn’t use it after noon. At the time of our stay in Gunnison, the temperature was quite hot and air conditioning in the rooms was definitely needed. We stayed 6 nights paying a nightly rate well over $200.
You would think the A/C would operate as needed by the paying guest. I wonder if the heat is turned off in the winter?

This was a nice hotel but the bathroom had a plugged sink, plugged bathtub, no shampoo in dispenser, refrigerator froze my wife’s medicine, very disappointed

It was ok but beds were not comfortable. Mattresses seemed to be merely box springs with a topper, and a metal bar along the side caught my leg a few times getting in and out of bed.

The front desk employee was not very welcoming. You were lucky to get three words out of them. They never greeted you when you come in or even look up at you. They were also inconsistent with information. I asked if it was possible for a late check out and one employee immediately said they do not do that. I thought that was weird that they do not even consider it, because most hotels will see how many new guests were going to check in. So i asked another desk employee, on a different shift and they said that we could have a late check out.
The property was convenient and close to everything and the breakfast was good. There were several different options. Overall the stay was pleasant but the front desk could be a little better.

Room clean. Sometimes you don’t need the fan on in the bathroom especially when it’s loud!! Front desk was less than welcoming, extra fees for pets not shown on website, I was expecting 10-15 $ more but not each night and certainly think 25$ each night is excessive.

We arrived around 9:30pm after driving about 4 hours. We wanted to relax and watch tv while eat ate dinner. The DirecTv was not working. I called the front desk and I finally was able to fix the problem. The sensor from the DirecTv box was not on the wall. Also when you turned on the heater, it smelled of burnt hair and it had something in the vent. On our last night, we got to the hotel to eat dinner and watch TV and the DirecTv didn’t work. The front staff came to the room and couldn’t get it to work and they didn’t have an extra box. So we couldn’t watch tv that night or in the morning. The front desk staff is not friendly or courteous.

It was convenient to access the area. The building and facilities (rooms) are showing their age and need updating.
We arrived at 1 PM andthe desk clerk would not check us in, which was a bit irritating given the hotel was not at capacity so there were rooms in condition to be occupied.

Where should I begin this very unpleasant tale? We booked the hotel for 4 nights as we were taking our daughter to start 1st semester at a nearby university. The room layout is awful. There's a toilet and shower located accross a carpeted corridor from the bathroom sink and mirror. So you have to leave the toilet to use a sink and mirror on the other side of the room. The rooms are not serviced at all unless requested the previous night. In spite making this request we were told that the staff did not get the service message hence the room was not serviced. The hotel has an airport shuttle. We booked the shuttle for 6am the night prior to departure. We checked out and asked for the shuttle and were told the person taking the message the previous evening did not relay the message. The desk clerk then thankfully agreed to take us to the airport. Fortunately for us we had just two bags as the clerk sat in the van and directed us to load and unload the bags. The breakfast was awful as well. The only plus to this place was the proximity to Walmart, Supermarket and many conveniences located within walking distance.

Front lobby is nice and new. Front desk had no quarters and laundry room did not have a change machine, we were unable to do a load of laundry because of this. Handle to the bathroom door fell off as well.

The options in Gunnison are limited. I believe that this is one of the nicer hotels. It wasnt bad, appearance-wise but the beds were hard and the bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. There should be no "evidence " of the prior guest and there was. It was convenient and met my needs.

I have stayed at this Comfort Inn several times over the past years. The employee taking care of check in wasn't very welcoming and not friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.The employees taking care of the continental breakfast were very friendly and kept the entire area clean. The overall condition of the hotel seems rundown which was disappointing since it was always in good condition on my previous visits.
